Description of Work: I have a gas fireplace and in the 7 years living in my home had not had it inspected or cleaned. I took advantage of an Angie's Deal for $99. The person came on time, got to work and did what was expected. I asked about upgrading the system and he gave me the address of the showroom. No hard sale.

Description of Work: Performed Chimney inspection. Person doing the inspection was fantastic and very knowledgable. I asked for an estimate to correct issues found and the pictures that were taken during the inspection. After week of waiting for the pictures and estimate I called to inquire and was assured they would be sent. They never sent either one. I decided not to waste my time following up a second time.

Description of Work: The service representative did okay. Head to use my vacuum to clean up. Left with a need to follow up to replace back wall of fireplace and never contacted me. I called on 2 separate occasions, being told they would get back with me and did not.

Description of Work: Our damper isn't working properly, and we asked to have it looked at as part of the cleaning visit. Was told it was fine and did not need anything -- an hour after they left it malfunctioned again. Frustrated that it wasn't properly inspected or repaired.

Description of Work: Performed inspection on gas log set that had never been used since purchasing the house in 2008. Technician was very professional and seemed knowledgeable about the set. He had to clean a sensor after the set was kicking off on it's own and when he left, it had been running for a while without kicking off. The set has since continued to kick off on it's own after a few minutes of use so that led to the lower quality score. In all fairness, it could be that the set is malfunctioning but since the set is not fully functional, I rated them a C for quality.
