great job! they arrived half an hour early and got the job done quickly. No mess was made and they were very professional. Since we just bought our house, they showed me how to operate the fireplace as well!

They were efficient and overall, the service went well. We will call them again this year.

I called and emailed them and didn't receive a response back. I called again another day and spoke with someone who said they'd be out for the estimate. They didn't show!

Could have been a DIY project if they had informed me of bracketing a flue as part of home sales, but the problem is solved so I can't complain to much.

We recently purchased an older home and there are many things that need to be done for improvements. Ely Stokes came out, assessed the condition of our fireplace and chimney and gave us an estimate for repairs. We had used Ely in the past at a previous home and were very impressed with the professionalism and service. We do intend to use Ely Stokes sometime this year, when budget permits, to repair our chimney box. We highly recommend this provider. They gave us quotes knowing that we wouldn't be doing the work for some time.

They had done chiminey work for us several times over the past 28 years even in our first house. We were disappointed that they did not respond.

I?ll probably go with a water test with another company. They are reasonably priced and my experience with them was good.

They were very prompt and thorough with the clean. The worker was very knowledgeable of his field. He also did a great job of cleaning up after himself.

I have used them for several years, as have my friends. They are honest, efficient and punctual. On more than one occasion, they have inspected the chimney and advised that cleaning was not necessary at that time. So they do not charge for services you do not need. i will most certainly hire them again next year.

Over2 years, cancelled at least 3 scheduled estimate appointments, for different reasons... rain, another job came up that was more important, etc. Ended up using someone else and paying them the 7 grand it took for repairs, Glad I will never bother to call Ely Stokes again for anything. Funny, but the company we eneded up using was able to do the estimate WHILE it was raining.... they have a cam they can snake up the chimney from the inside.... and had a camera with a zoom to look at the chimney in detail from the ground... Guess it pays to have a bit of tech on your side.

We had noticed a disgusting smell of wet ashes and stale smoke in our living room that seemed to be coming from the fireplace. Ely Stokes' staff explained that there was a watr leak around the chimney allowing moisture to mix with soot and ashes creating a very unpleasant odor. They repaired the cracks in the chimney, effected a tight seal, and installed a cap on our antique clay chimney. The architecture was very different and no other company had been able to repair the clay chimney nor provide an appropriate cap. Ely Stokes made an excellent repair and the odor is a distant memory! They're geniuses!

Originally I called them because there were birds nesting in my chimney. The gentleman that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and he thought it might be a bird that is an endangered species. He came out to clean the chimney and I had him install a chimney cap so that wouldn?t happen again. They were very good.
