arrived on time was fast & did a great job. Cost was fair as he also had to get on the roof to remove the vent cover & run a long brush down to the vent in take.

The service worked out just fine. It was good. They came out three weeks after I purchased the Big Deal and there were no additional charges to the $99 Big Deal. They did the job in an hour. It was all good.

Technician was punctual and convivial. He pointed out that our old gas starter had seen better days and offered to replace it, but did not apply pressure or make it seem as if it was a life-or-death repair. He also gave me useful tips on how I could repair some loose mortar in the fire box. Overall, he was very helpful, and I think that the price for the services and new starter was more than fair.

They really did a good job and even used a camera scope. They did a great job cleaning with a visual inspection from the interior.

Fantastic experience! They called and scheduled my service within a few hours of my purchase. Rob arrived exactly when the office said he would, obviously they're good at scheduling! He identified that my mantel is lower than required by code as the house was built in 1970 and offered some helpful suggestions for how to fix it. The cleaning went quickly and without issue. Definitely will use these guys in the future!

Had to call office to check if service was coming; time was running out for my window and I had heard nothing. Provider shower up in the next 15 minutes. Service tech went right to work, cleaned and vacuumed inside fireplace, walls, and inspected chimney visually with flashlight from inside. Gave me a OK, things were in good shape as far as he could see. Suggested I visit their showroom for newer, more realistic logs. Left area around fireplace clean and tidy. Entire process took less than 20 minutes! It was needed and looked better with brick walls cleaned.

The guy who did the work was punctual, friendly and did a great job for me. He went above and beyond and put a little bit of glass in the bottom and the fireplace really glows and looks beautiful now! I love it! On top of the great service, they had a special going on and I ended up saving $50!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I signed up for an Angie's List deal to have Ely Stokes come out to clean and service our gas log on our fireplace. We set a date and time that they were to come by. I took the afternoon off of work to be there when they came, however, they never showed up. We called the company and had to leave a message since I guess they were too busy to answer the phone. They finally called back and told us that due to some snow that fell that morning, they had cancelled all appointments. Everyone else I know went to work that day including me, but I guess they can't drive in snow. We asked why they didn't call to let us know. They said they tried, but the number listed on our Angie's List account was an old number. That was our fault. So we rescheduled for two weeks later. I again arranged to take time off of work to be there at the appointed time between 4:00-5:00. At 4:45, no one had shown up so I again called and again they were too busy to answer the phone. I called every few minutes since I had no confidence that they would call me back. Finally after several calls without an answer, I left a message. At 5:15, someone called me back and told me that their person had one more appointment before me and then he would be there, though very late. I waited and waited and then again started calling and leaving messages. At 6:20 I received a call from the serviceman, who said that he wold be there about 7:00, three hours after our appointment time. I told him that I was supposed to meet friends for dinner, but I needed the work done, so I would cancel. He said okay without any apology. Again, 7:00 came around and no one showed up. Since he had called me on his cell phone, I called him back. No answer. My wife called and left a message. Finally at 8:00 he called back and told us that we would have to reschedule. UNBELIEVABLE! After leaving work two different days and canceling a dinner with friends because of this company, he tells me he was not coming and again didn't have the decency to call or apologize. Not once did this company call me to tell me they were they were running late or were not going to show up. We had to call them each time. Not once did they apologize. STAY AWAY.

We had a few loose bricks in the firebox. They came out for an inspection. It took quite awhile to schedule them to come out. I've used them before and thought they were worth waiting for. They even called to move up the appt a few days when they had a cancellation but I was unable to meet them. Turns out the fireplace had lots of problems and was deemed unsafe to use. The guy that came out was nice and explained everything very thoroughly. I didn't feel at all that he was exaggerating just to get more work. I asked him for an estimate and he said he only does the reporting, only certain members of the office can provide an estimate. I was under the impression someone would be getting back with me regarding an estimate, but it has been just over a month. I still have no estimate or any kind of follow up. I do not feel it is my job to chase them down for service. I struggled with a grade. Their price for inspection was fair, they were knowledgeable and could easily explain it. They were not responsive and were significantly late for the appointment (more than an hour late). I hate putting down such low grades as I have used them years ago and they were wonderful. Just very disappointed this time.

The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. I had used them before on another home I own and they did a fabulous job. They cleaned all the cobwebs off the glass, walls etc, took the doors off and cleaned them as well. This time however after they left it didn't look that much different then when they started. I made the mistake of just being irritated and did not call them back to do a better job. Next time I would. I would still recommend this company because they have many other technicians that do a great job.

They did a great job and it looks fabulous now.

TACKY ENOUGH??????????They actually left an electrical cord dangling out of the front of the FP and ran an extension cord to the wall of the Living Room!

The man who came out to the house did a thorough job and was very knowledgeable about chimneys and gas log fireplaces. He was a pleasure to talk to.
