He was on time and kept the area clean around the fireplace where he was working. He had a wet/dry vac that he kept going which kept the dust from coming into the room. He cleaned the flue out and inspected the fireplace.

Technician was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

The service was prompt, efficient, and the chimney technician was friendly. The only thing that could have made it better was if he spoke with a cockney accent, a'la Merry Poppins.

I would definitely contact them again. They left zero mess, did NOT try to over-sell us services we did not need and were honest and upfront about cost of possible future expenses. I appreciated their honest advice. We had another company (with reviews on Angie's List) come out to inspect chimney and perform tuckpointing on the rest of house that tried to sell a complete fireplace rebuild when was not needed. Ely Stokes will be the company I call for future service.

This is a very professional vendor. Due to the weather we had to reschedule installation of the chimney cap several times. Each time I was called well in advance of the installation date. The technician was knowledgeable and very courteous. I feel they did an excellent job for me. I hired them to clean my white birch fireplace logs and to check and clean the flue and to assure everything was in good shape. They were able to schedule both on the same day. Every thing was cleaned up when they left. Definitely would hire again.

The service went just fine. I paid an additional fee for new chimney caps. One technician came out for the job. He was nice and polite. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

On time. Very professional. Technician took the time to explain what they were doing and gave me some useful information about my fireplace that I didn't know. He cleaned up when he was done. Would definitely recommend.

Service was done very well..

First the negative: there was a 2 hours window in which they were supposed to show up. Since I would be coming 30 minutes from work, they were to call ahead. They did not call ahead. Besides that, the actual service was done quite well. Rob, the technician, was friendly, worked quickly, seemed thorough in his inspection and cleaning, and explained everything he was doing and what he was observing. He was informative and knowledgeable. The firebrick showed some wear, and he explained the need we would have to replace some pieces soon. He did try to sell his business's services to do the repair work, but he also explained how the work would be done should we want to do the work ourselves. He offered helpful tips for better fire experiences. It was a well-done job.

He was very good and did the whole job from the inside of the house. He got the job done in less than one hour. The scheduling was good and he showed up on time.

On time, professional, and clean. They came out, cleaned and inspected my chimney, and gave recommendations on how to convert a second chimney into gas. Would recommend them and plan to use them again.

Scheduling was no problem. He was here when he was supposed to and did the job. There was nothing found in the inspection that needed extra work.

They came a week after I purchased the big deal. There were no additional charges besides the $99 big deal. My wife had no complaints.

The technician showed up on time and was very friendly. He thoroughly inspected the chimney and also swept out old debris.

They inspected the chimney above the roof and took pictures and showed us that it had some cracks and told us to replace it in the future may be not immediately. He also cleaned the gaps for any ashes. He turned on the gas since I have not used it for a long time. He gave me a new better key for my gas starter. He went above and beyond his work. He did a good job. He did more than what I expected. I was very pleased and the price was very reasonable.

It took him 2 days to repair our chimney. He cleaned up just fine as there was no sign that he'd been there when I got home.

I was very pleased with the service I received. Not only did Rob clean out the vent, but he noted that the company that did the work last year, had not securely attached the vent hose in the back of the dryer to the pipe in the floor. He repositioned the dryer, adjusted the hose, and sealed the hose and connection with metal tape, to prevent leakage. He worked swiftly, and did a great job. I will have them do this again in the future.
