Dusty & Crew re-roofed my house in about a week's time. I've roofed before and was ready to look for and find any flaws in the work. The only things I found were minor cosmetic issues, and they were fixed very quickly by Dusty during a final walkthrough. They cleaned up pretty well each night before they left.

Elk Roofing replaced my roof last December and did an excellent job. I'm a Realtor that has referred them to many of my clients. I have never had a complaint on them only graitude and complements. They did a good job. We had a man come out to do our gutter cleaning last week. After doing so, he told us we had shingles loose. We called Elk Roofing and told them about the problem. We had a five-year warranty on the roof. They came out immediately and fixed the problem.

They did an excellent job, we were very happy with them. The job was fairly quick, they finished in about 2-3 days. They were very professional, hard workers. The quality was also excellent.

They came when they said they would. They were efficient and they got the job done.

Everything they did was very clean. The guy's grandmother lives on our street. We got three separate estimates and went with theirs. He's a really nice guy. The men that were working with them were very nice and polite.

I would use them again in the future.

Elk Roofing is a family owned business with over 40 years in the roofing business. Dusty was the foreman of the job and he was also the estimator. We were very impressed with his knowledge and listening skills. My husband and I spent a great deal of time researching exactly what products we wanted for our roof prior to getting bids. Dusty was the only contractor who did not talk us out of these products. He was thoughtful and thorough with his estimate and spent not only time with me explaining what he would do for the roof, but also came back on a Sunday afternoon to go over the proposal with my husband. Also, Dusty was the only contractor who asked to come inside of our house to look in our attic to check areas. Dusty had some creative ideas on resolving a previous ice damaged area of the roof as well. The job started on time and finished when Dusty said it would. His crew was proficient, professional and kept the area around the house as safe and debris-free as possible. At the Elk Roofing office, Lou was very knowledgeable, professional and thoughtful, too. We are very pleased with our experience with Elk Roofing.

It was satisfactory. They were very nice and nice to deal with. They did a good follow up to make sure I was happy. I was told the job would take three days, but ended up taking five and they had to rush that day to get it done. The third day on the job, thunderstorms were predicted. I expected them to put a sheet down to protect it, but they didn't, so I had to call them back to do that. To be good means you don't have to call them back for anything. They did a nice job and they were cleaner than the last roofing company we used. I feel like we got a quality job.

The clean up was excellent and I never found even one nail laying around. The crew of four men was friendly and they did a good job. I am pleased with the roof and I would recommend them.

The new roof was 50 year architectural shingle. They did a good job and this was the second time I've used the company.

They fixed the leak despite being attacked by wasps.

It was very well done and we have had no problems since. They were very cooperative as well.

Elk tore off and put on a completely new roof at no cost to me.

Due to their backlog, it took a little while to come out, but that wasn't a problem for me. I had used them before for some work so I was comfortable contracting with them. Once they got started, it took about 1 week to complete the job. The crew had to work through some pretty terrible weather (from 65 to 30 degrees by the end of the week). I had a little bit of water damage due to some vents not getting installed during a day of heavy rain, had a screen damaged and some paint chipped off a piece of siding. But all in all, it wasn't too bad. I took the cost of the damage off of my final bill. The crew cleaned up well after themselves and the lady in the office was very nice. Besides the water damage, I was very happy with the results.

They were clean, cleaned up afterwards. So far no problems.

Called the company in mid-October to get an estimate. I called back after about 10 days when I did not hear anything and they told me they were out until March of 2007. I was a little miffed that they did not tell me this when I called the first time.

They were polite and responsive to request for estimate. Their price was 20% higher than the two other bids I received. However, they have a reputation for quality work and I have not yet had the work completed.

He was professional and timely. He gave us just what we needed to talk with the buyers of our home. He carefully walked the roof looking for damage or problems. He gave us a written estimate to replace the entire roof. He did not charge us a thing.

Had 3 estimates, all about the same price, but the other two wanted to replace another section of the roof that was nowhere near the leak. Elk is the only company that went to the trouble of running water over the roof, climbing in the attic, to see where the water was coming in. The other two just "guessed".

I called this company twice for a roof estimate and they told me that they would come out and take a look. They never showed up. I know they are currently very busy so hopefully others will have better luck with them. The lady who answers the phone was very friendly.

Called and spoke with a pleasant, but vague lady who said that they could have someone out in a week. Called two weeks later and she said that the estimate would be out in a few days. When I pressed her on times and dates, she responded with ''shouldn't take too long'' and ''any day now''. Ultimately, the estimate never arrived.
