Great. They were on time and the job took a little over an hour.

Repaired the existing water softener rather than replace. Entire service call was less than an hour. Clean, fast and the system is working. Will use them to replace the softener when the time comes.

I called to have someone come out and quote the replacement water softener and new drinking water system. Greg Adams came out very quickly and discussed our options. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. As a result of his expertise we ordered both the water softener and the reverse osmosis system. He and Chris installed our items within 48 hours. Very professional and efficient. We would recommend Elgin Water and these 2 service/installers. Good job! We love our water now.

David at Elgin was courteous and professional in solving and giving me an estimate, alternatives and cautions of rebuilding a used water softener. I left the softener with Elgin for work. I had forgotten to bring a piece of the softener with me and said I would go get it and be back.He said he was going to be in my neighborhood in the afternoon and he would come be and get it; no charge. After the unit had been rebuilt, I said I would pick it up. He volunteered to deliver it to my home since he was coming by the area again anyway; no charge. I think it is exceptional when people like David try to make the appliance repair a little less bothersome.

They came out to assess issue next morning after my call and then came back the next day to install a new tank. Technician was polite, punctial, and quick.

They came out and gave me a quote. About 5 days later they came and put it in. It took about 2 hours. They explained the softener. They were great. He was punctual.

We have used the company in the past at an old home. The service went well. One technician came out and completed the job in about 3 hours. He was knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to make the installation go smoothly. He used a special pipe so he did not have to do any welding. The place we had the water softener installed was small but he was able to manage the installation well. They gave us 3 bags of salt as a bonus and were available for any questions when we needed. They explained how to maintain the water softener very well.

Elgin came to install a new water softener. Nice people to deal with. They said they would come back to change out the salt container as soon as our old one was low since we had just filled it up before our old system quit. A few months later once our salt was low, I called and they came the next day to finish the job. Very impressed at how easy they made the process.

Super fast service. The repair man was professional and friendly. They could have charged me more, however, were sweet by charging me minimally. That never happens these days. I am going to be getting a water softener from them soon.

The service went fine. It was my first time using the company. One technician came out and completed the job in about an hour. They left no mess after the service and I had no difficulties scheduling the service. They have even come back out to deliver salt.

Elgin sent out the very best! Chris and Jesse are very professional, diligent, knowledgable and efficient! As expected, we didn't have a "run of the mill" situation when it came to running the R/O water lines to the refrigerator from under our sink. Our basement is finished and that presents many challenges. We were open to the demo of the dry wall if necessary, but the crew was determined not to make a mess, if it wasn't absolutely necessary. These two were creative when presented different challenges and were optimistic in their thinking. Fishing lines is not for the faint at heart in the small spaces they were forced to work in and around. They did have to come back a few days later to complete this portion of the install, but when they did they were prepared and did a wonderful job. Our family loves our new soft water and we love our R/O system even more. Crystal clear, great tasting ice is a luxury that should be had by all. Thanks to the wonderful team at Elgin for a job well done!

Our old water softener lining had broken and all the beads went throughout our house's water system. We called Elgin from whom we had bought our water softener and who had always maintained it. They even moved it from our old house to our new house. They told us as soon as the plumber had finished draining the system they would call to arrange a time to install a new water softener. They called Monday morning first thing and scheduled to install the new water softener on Tuesday morning. The two competent men who came on Tuesday morning did an excellent job of installing the new softener. They had to rearrange some of the plumbing system to have it work in a more convenient space. We are so grateful for their competence and concern in getting our job complete.

I really liked Elgin because they attempted to save of money and a service call by trying to solve the problem over the phone. When it was decided that a service tech would need to come out, the gentleman (wish I could remember his name) was prompt and called beforehand. The work was great and he tried to save me money :) I plan on using Elgin anytime I have issues with my water softener.

The service was done very well. I didn't shop around for the price too much.

The initial installation was the previous week. Several days later I took my husband downstairs to show him the new water softener. I found water all over the floor. I called Eglin and a rep came out the next day and determined there was a hole in the tank. We sent up a time to replace it. A different representative came out today to replace it. His name was Tom. He was very friendly. He put on "booties" so he wouldn't track in any mud. He replaced the unit and showed me how to use it (This was not done on the initial visit). He also tested the water (this was not done on the initial visit). When I contacted Megan about the leak, I inquired about some type of compensation and she gave me a month free. When Tom came out he gave me 320 lbs of free salt for the unit to compensate for the inconvenience of the leak. Talk about great customer service. I will write another review once I have had the unit for awhile. While it was a bit of a rocky start, great customer service. I will request Tom to come out with an concerns, repairs, etc.

The technician recommended purchasing a whole new system from his company.

We had recently purchased an expensive Kinetico water softener, so when we decided to move into a new house, we elected to keep our water softener and move it with us. We hired Elgin to move it for us. Everything went very smoothly. Not sure what else to say. They didn't make a mess, aside from the water that you'd expect to have hit the floor on a job like this. They were done in practically no time and did a fine job.

The water in my dishwasher was leaving a lot of spots so I decided to call up Elgin Water Care to take a look at my water situation. I also noticed that the salt wasn't being used at all. Dave came out today and explained every little part of the softener. He explained what each knob meant and how to turn on the bypass. This was very useful information. I will use them for all of my future softener needs.

He informed us about water softeners. He discussed the pros and cons about renting or purchasing. The representative was friendly, informative, and not pushy.

Arrived on time. Quickly found the reason our water softener was not doing it's job (2 obstructions in the valve assembly). Fixed the problem and charged us a reasonable 1-hour rate. It's been almost 3 weeks now and the water softener is working great. I was especially impressed that he didn't try to get me to rent or buy one of Elgin's own water softeners.
