 + -1 moreThis was a very bad experience, should not have happened at all the way it did.
Description of Work: I purchased a home that had a leased tank from this company. When I called for a fill, the price was much higher than the company I had been using at my current home. They agreed to match the price. I was required to have a new customer check, involving a employee coming out to check my tank and my furnace. I took a DAY off of work during the week to have this done. I explained the tank was almost empty and needed filled when they did the check. When the employee came for the check, he said it was too late for the truck to come that day. They would fill it the next day. I was told I did not want to run out of propane because someone would have to let the truck driver into the house to do a furnace check again. The driver came the next day and refused to fill it because it was out! I had to miss work AGAIN to go to the house to let him in. They did reduce the price of the gas to compensate for losing 1 1/2 days work. If you have a choice, do not use this company.

 + -1 moreI am on automatic fill-up with them, and have a 1000 gallon tank, so I should be able to fill up once in the summer (which is cheaper than a winter fill) and not have another fill-up. Their billing practices lock you into a rate, however, even if prices drop later. They charged me $2.89 per gallon for LP, which I thought was very high. I found another company offering it at $2.10 per gallon, and when I called East Side again, they told me that they offer $2.10 per gallon fill ups for first time customers only. I explained that I could have gotten it much cheaper, and they did correct it and adjusted the price to $2.29 per gallon. However, I feel that this is price gouging, and I plan to finish this tank and find another company.
Description of Work: They supply me with LP for heating in the wintertime.
