 + -1 moreWas not the cheapest estimate we received, but we had seen E.B.'s work in a friend's house and knew his attention to detail and ability to do work in older homes that fits the character of the house. We definitely feel that we got our money's worth. Not only was the quality of the work excellent, but the communication ("here's what's going to happen today", etc.) was outstanding. The project took a few weeks, but we never felt we'd been abandoned as so often happens with some contractors.
Description of Work: Completely gutted and redid a second floor bathroom in a 60 year old house. New floor tile, wall tile, ceiling, plumbing, fixtures, lighting and cabinetry.

 + -1 moreMr. Rayburn will not begin a job until all materials have been selected and ordered, and until they have arrived or are readily available. He can generally predict the exact day the project will be finished. He hires experienced, reliable sub-contractors he has worked with for years. He will follow up at his expense to make certain the customer is satisfied.
Description of Work: This company specializes in updating older homes. Mr. Rayburn is a knowledgeable, imaginative designer and a craftsman of integrity. His firm recently revitalized our older home by tearing out two walls, re-doing floors and wall surfaces, and updating the laundry room and one of our bathrooms.
