Overall, a very positive experience. I was a bit frustrated when I had to pay for the initial repair, but I respected Ed's efforts to make it as right as he could. Once he called me back, I was both surprised and pleased to discover that he hadn't let this issue go. I have used Eand E for many years and will always use them for my garage door work - although with these new springs it may be quite awhile before I need to call them again.

Ed Jr. returned my call within the hour even though it was Sunday evening, the voicemail announcement had already let me know they wouldn't have any openings until at least Wednesday, and he had no replacement springs on hand. He explained their schedule for the week, told me how I could try to open the door even though the spring was broken (a temporary fix so I could go to work), recommended some other companies that might be available on Monday morning with a spring in stock, and answered my questions about the options for getting new doors in a few months. We had a very nice chat and I am positive that I will choose E and E to install new doors when it's time. Ed Sr. replaced the spring on my other garage door in 2005 and I'm happy to report that his son continues the tradition of top-notch service.

They are absolutely great--couldn't be better. They ordered two openers for me, and programmed those. He has a great company. He is very knowledgeable, prompt, and knows what he is doing.

These folk are wonderful. They have come several times in the past to repair my worn out door and automatic garage door opener and have been more than willing to patch it to keep me from having to buy new door and operator. I recommend them without reservation. They are kind, polite and considerate.

I am very happy. He called before he came over, just like he said he would, and he was on time. It took him about 10 minutes. I will use them again.

First class experience. When I made the call to Ed Jr. about this opener he made a point to make sure I understood all of the pros and cons of this opener, before he would let me make the purchase. They came out when they said they would to install and then later came back and made an adjustment at no extra charge. I will definitely use them again.

I called and Ed Jr. promptly set up an appointment for someone to service our garage door. TJ was the technician who showed up and performed the very thorough service. He was prompt, friendly, and professional. He took time to educate us about the workings of the garage door and why it was imbalanced. I've used this small family company before and have always found them to be easy to work with, fair, and highly professional in every respect. I haven't been billed yet, but I believe the price will be about $125.00.

On Tuesday night the garage door would not open. On Wednesday night it did. Inbetween, I observed that a spring was broken, called Eand E Wednesday morning, described the issue and type of door I had, and within hours Ed Jr. and an assistant had finished the replacement of the door springs.

We called E and E garage doors and they came out the same day. They needed to order the product and did so and then returned and were prompt , very reasonable price, left no mess and courteous.

It went very well. They schedule an approximate date, but do to a wrong product on the other site, the service man called me up to see if I could do it that day. He came to my work place and I gave him the garage door opener. He went and serviced my garage doors, had some old eyes in truck, and invoiced me later.

As of this writing I have not received their bill but I was quoted a price of $119. The spring broke on my two car garage door. I knew that another highly rated company would charge $160. My neighbor had used Eand E before and recommended them. I looked them up on Angie's list and decided to try them. I was very pleased. They were very responsive, answered my questions about another garage door and gave me recommendations concerning that door and the price was very reasonable. They fixed my door quickly and told me what to look for in the future concerning this door

Great. TJ came out to give estimate...and fixed a few minor issues with our current doors at no charge. He was very pleasant and answered any questions we had. I would definately use them again and recommend them to anyone.

E and E had repaired our 45-year-old door on a few occasions in the past in a prompt, courteous manner at very reasonable prices. We decided to replace the old door and didn't even consider any other contractor. I have dealt with Ed Sr. and Ed Jr. for many years and they have always provided professional service at competitive pricing. They give you what you ask for, offer advice when needed, and do not try to "oversell" their services or products.

Our new garage door opener was allowing the garage door to shut too hard. Ed came out and adjusted the tension on the springs and the stops on the opener on his way home from another job. It fixed the problem, but he said to call if we started having issues again and he would come back out and fix it for us. Great service from a great company. Honest, know what they are doing, and fairly priced. I had issues with another garage door company I got off Angies list, and now these are the only people I will use for garage door issues.

I was very impressed with their willingness to help by instructing me what to do without them making a service call.

Great service, great products. We now have 3 wonderfully quiet garage doors and look forward to the tax credit!

Ed Jr. responded within a few hours of our call the morning the springs on our garage door were broken. It was a very snowy day but that did not seem to delay him. He was able to temporarily fix the door that day until the correct springs were available a few days later.

Above and beyond my expectations. After the cables broke neither garage door could be opened manually and due to vintage of the doors, parts had to be ordered. This meant my tractor with the snow plow and snowblowers were trapped inside the garage. During the wait fperiod for parts the weather forecast changed and called for 6 inches of snow - so a special trip (at THEIR initiative) was made and temporary repairs were made so that I could open the doors and move snow. Thank you. With the new parts these doors work better than they have for the 20 years I have owned this home.

Phone call to Eand E promptly answered; friendly informed discussion about the broken garage door opener. Replacement options discussed, decision made. Eand E was out the next day on time, and replaced the door opener (freezing, icy weather). Everything went smoothly, and the new door opener works well.

They are professional and on time. Their price is competitive. I like that it's a small company. They have done a lot of work for me and they have consistently done an excellent job. I would give them A's across the board.

Ed came out and gave us a quote on a couple of different options. Ed did not like leaving our older door with just one spring for safety reasons, so he returned the next day and replaced our remaining spring with a new one until our new garage door could be ordered and replaced - no charge!! We are very happy with the quality of the door and service of this company. We will definitely be using this company again when we need to replace the garage door opener.
