Ed was very polite , on time and price was fair. Called him on the labor day weekend after 5pm and told him the door would not go up, he told me it was probably a broken spring. He explained how to get the door up to get my wifes car out. Ed said he could come out right away , but if I could wait till Tuesday morning he would be out first thing and I would not have to pay for emergency service.

Ed employs a good, old-fashioned work-ethic, quality of service and sense of customer service. Unfortunately, the workers who installed my garage door don t. Ed gave me a quote, honest advice and a good deal. The workers, whose truck and shirts said Coffman Construction, arrived to install the door appeared professional, however, I found the following problems: The door was off center and an obvious strip of medal was showing on one side of the door. A bracket holding the opener was not bolted to the joust. The door was scrached. The door did not properly seal to the ground. The side trim/weather strip on one side of the door was placed about too close, making the vinyl flare out (sealed, but aesthetically unappealing). Ed made two trips back and fixed all of these issues, except for the last one (which I only mentioned to him and didn't pursue). The only good, old-fashioned attribute missing in this experience was the adage, Get the job done right the first time around.

It doesn't get any better than making a call and the problem being fixed within the hour.

The repairman was on time and extremely honest. He could have have tried to sell or pretend to fix our garage opener. I really appreciate not being taken advantage because of our stupidity.

E and E RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO MY CALL OF A GARAGE DOOR THAT WOULD NOT OPEN. I HAD TO LEAVE THE HOUSE. THEY ARRIVED, FIXED DOOR, AND LEFT THE BILL. I HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Quick response, quick work, price I assume includes mostly driving cost and labor but no dissatisfaction here.

Ed arrived as scheduled and completed the work in good time. Before leaving, he spent several minutes explaining the new features of the opener and it's operation. He also programmed the internal opener controls in two of my cars. He also gave me some tips on how to make the door operation quieter. I did what he said, and it is quieter.

Ed is as always, excellent and a pleasure to work with.

Ed came out for my initial visit. I talked with one other prospective company. For the same product, E and E was slightly lower in price. The crew of two were very friendly and worked efficiently. I felt comfortable leaving them at my house while I ran a couple errands. Ed came back the next day to finish the work because the operators needed longer wiring which the crew did not have. After he left there was a slight problem the next day with one of the operators, and Ed came out immediately (Sunday) to correct the problem. The doors and operators work very well and the keypad is incredibly handy to have. Overall, a positive experience. I only gave them one 'b' and that was simply because of the slight bumps along the way, but I understand that these sometimes happen. I have recommended E and E to several friends and I would use them again.

Ed called to confirm the appointment. He arrived early and checked out the problem. He did a few small adjustments and the garage door hasn't had a problem since. He was polite and very helpful.

Ed is one of a kind. He showed up on time a did a great job for a reasonable price. A few months early when my door would not close properly, Ed took one look and replaced a roller. Furthermore, he would not accept payment for this short visit. Ed is best of the best.

This gentleman responded almost immediately to my phone call, and arrived promptly at our agreed time. I didn't have all the required components to correctly install the garage door opener. He offered to obtain the parts and return the next business day to do the repairs. Everything works great now! All in all, a GREAT experience, and at a reasonable price.

I called late in the day after finding that I could not open my garage door, due to a broken spring. The owner of the company gave me a fair price and agreed to come to my house first thing the next morning. He actually arrived early, which was fine with me. He quickly replaced the spring, adjusted the tension, and even gave me an Angie's list discount. The quick response allowed me to get my car out of the garage and off to work on time. The garage door has worked perfectly since then.

Was a very good experience. They even fixed one door for free since we had to replace the other. Owner came out to do the repair and sent subcontractors to replace the other door. We were pleased with the results from both.

Job 1: Very helpful and professional. On time and reasonably priced. Job 2: Workers on time, polite and very reasonably priced. There was a small mix up with the new tracking and model of door, but was corrected in less than a week. The original crew who installed the door did appear to have smoked inside the garage. I did not realize this until they were almost complete. Even though it was in the garage and the door was shut to the house, if you're a non-smoker it does make a difference.

He gave me a very fair price. And I was very impressed. He was so nice. I asked if he could reset my push buttons on the outside. He told me he would come back out for free to put in the batteries if I bought them.

They came out within 2 hours of my call. The rep was very polite, he was the owner. He was more than helpful, and answered all of my questions. He fixed the spring, and lubricated the door so it would stop squeaking. He even gave me an Angie's list discount

On time, reasonable, and did a very good job.

Service was reasonably priced. Scheduled to arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Arrived at 9:30 without a call nor apology for tardiness. Service was completed expediently and as requested. Quality of work seems to be fine (e.g. no issues yet).

E and E installed new garage doors for us two years ago, using our motor-driven openers that were already in place. Recently, one of the openers behaved erratically, sometimes closing the door properly and sometimes leaving a gap of a couple of inches between the door and the ground. Ed Sr. came out, diagnosed the problem as a faulty limit-control switch, found a replacement in a used unit somewhere, and installed the replacement part. Door now works properly. Two trips to the house involved, plus finding the part. For this work, HE REFUSED TO ACCEPT PAYMENT, saying he wouldn't charge for a used part. This is service far beyond the norm. I would nominate Eand E for whatever kudos Angie's List might wish to bestow.

I prefer to work with small independent firms like this one. He was prompt and knowledgeable and is going beyond the call of duty to locate a single part instead of replacing the entire mechanism. Having used him before, I know the price will be competitive and more. I highly recommend this provider.

One of our garage doors was squeaking loudly. I asked E and E to come out and tune it up. They came out on time as scheduled, gave both garage doors a ''tune up'', even though I only requested they look at one of them, and then refused to take any money for the work (not even gas money). E and E had installed the doors about 12 years ago and felt that they should not be squeaking (even after 12 years!!). This is one company that you can call with confidence - they'll do the job right! I'm sure this comes as no surprise to you since they have so many positive reports on Angie's List.

WONDERFUL THING IS THAT HE REFUSED PAYMENT. HE SAID VERY LITTLE WORK DONE SO THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE. HE CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE IS PROMPT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, KIND, AND QUICK.

WE CALLED ABOUT THE GARAGE DOOR, THEY SAID THEY WERE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND WOULD STOP BY AND LOOK AT IT. THEY STOPPED BY AND CAME BACK TO FIX IT THE NEXT AFTERNOON.
