I called E and E Garage Doors on Monday evening and Mr. Kikendall made arrangements to come to my home Tuesday afternoon. The price for materials was very reasonable and the work, including clean-up, was excellent. He emphasized that I should call him if I had any questions or problems.

During the snow storm, we pulled our cars into the garage, but when we tried to put the door down it came off the track and wouldn't budge. We had to disconnect the door and manually pull it down. After the snow melted, we checked the list and gave Ed a call on a Fri. He was able to come out that day to look at the door. It appears that the door was installed by the previous owner and had a few issues that were causing the misalignment. Ed was able to get the door functioning that day, but in order to prevent further damage, a bracket needed to be installed. He did not have a bracket on his truck, so we set up an appointment for the following Tues. We had also lost our garage door opener, so he offered to bring one when he came. He arrived early on Tuesday and in no time had the garage door working and a new garage door opener programmed. Ed did a wonderful job of showing me what had been done to fix the door. We are excited to have a working garage door and opener!

I cannot praise this company enough. I would have at least expected a 'trip' charge. We will be replacing our garage door and opener soon and will hire this company without any comparison shopping.

I called one day and they were out the next. There was some damage done to the existing track which was not their fault. They came back the next day to finish the repair.

Ed was very helpful and informative. He knows his stuff. He assured us that the roller in question was the one that has the most strain on it, so they do break more often. He wanted to save us money so he told us how to replace the roller ourselves. In addition he gave us some good info about what we could use to weather strip the door to help keep out the weather. He also helped us locate a remote for our very ancient garage door opener. We know who we are calling in the future for any work we need done on our garage door or the opener.

I called for a repair on our garage door. When calling Ed he asked a few questions and we set the appointment for the following morning. Ed was right on time and fixed the issue in 5 minutes. Our sensor needed adjusted? He would not accept payment, but asked me to call him when I need a new door. Absolute first class and I will call him for a new door in the spring!

They were very professional, very friendly, and very fast. We called on a Friday morning and had the door fixed by noon. They had a fair price and are very friendly. I will definitely use E and E again in the future, if needed.

I did not use because he did not accept credit cards. I would have otherwise. They seemed very nice and had reasonable prices.

They were fantastic. They did same day service by a professional person. They had a wonderful price and great competence.

We called on Friday and explained what we needed. They gave us an estimate over the phone and said they could install the next Tuesday. We set the appt. for 10am. They called Monday evening to explain they were installing a new system for another customer Tues. morning in Zionsville and now had a request for an estimate in Zionsville (that request came in after our initial appt. time was set). They didn't want to travel back to Zionsville after completing our job so they asked if they could change our appt. to 11am instead of 10am. That would allow them to complete both tasks in Zionsville before heading our way and we agreed. However, they didn't arrive until 11:45am. They were very professional, worked well together (father and son team), explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. Gave us the paperwork, explained how to operate, change, and program our system. Cleaned up after themselves and even swept the leaves out of my garage. We would use them again.

He came the same day we called, and after finding he did not have the parts on his truck he left and picked them up and came back and installed them that afternoon. There was some minor accidental damage to our epoxied floor for which Eand E reimbursed us without quarrel. He is a competent and ethical businessman. I recommend him highly.

They did a great job and were very professional. They stayed with their estimate and I can't find anything they did wrong. They cleaned up well. I received estimates from other companies and their price was comparable to the other estimates I received.

E and E came the same day that I called. They recommended that I replace my old garage door opener with a new one. They came back the next day and installed a new unit. Came promptly and did work promptly.

Garage door was making loud noise and getting stuck halfway up at times. The chain had come of track and he corrected. He then asked how the other door was working and helped with remote opener (gave me one to try no charge). He would not take any money for the repair. Although it was minor, he still spent his gas and time to come out and correct. I've used Eand E since approximately 1994 and have never been disappointed. Time and time again they have gone above and beyond any expectation I have had. Their price and quality of door was superior to any I could find when first installed and they still look like new 12 years later. I have recommended Eand E to friends and they too were very satisfied with both the work and price. Give them and try if you need a new door, opener, or tune up. You won't be disappointed!

Ed was great, as he always is. He had been out a few weeks earlier for a malfunction of the door opener and addressed that issue then. Another issue arose, and he came the same day. It was replaced the next day without incident. We didn't get other quotes, as he has always been fair with us on many other occasions.

I am so glad I found all the great reports on this company before I went with one of the ''brand name'' guys. They are located right around the corner from me, and Ed came out the day after I called. Of course my ''problem'' with the opener turned out to be due to my own ignorance, and he kindly set me straight. He was able to find another remote for this very old garage door opener; I had tried searching for one online, but could never tell if it would work with my door. Also, all the remotes I saw online cost two to three times what Ed charged me for this one. This is a great family company. My garage door is over 50 years old, so when it's time for replacement, I know exactly who to call.

I really appreciate Ed's honesty. And, he was very punctual.

First when I called, he asked very few questions unlike other companies. Then, he was very inflexible with his times, despite his Angie's List ad saying he was flexible. My husband had to take a few hours off to meet him. Then, he didn't call ahead of time as he said he would. When he did get there, things went okay, but my husband thought things were just "odd" and more like working with an uncle that was coming over to help you out than with a professional. He tried to reprogram our old opener, without success. He also told us we could try to fix it ourselves by buying the parts at Lowe's or Home Depot, but that he didn't do that. But it would end up costing about $100 with no guarantee that it would work. The quote he gave us on the new opener was slightly less than another quote I had received, but the other had a keyless entry and was one of those whisper quite models. Given the overall experience we went with the other company.

Showed up on time. Determined the problem was simple laser beam protector interup. Told me how to prevent future problems. Thanked me for using him. I asked for a bill since it was part my fault, and they refused.

Ed was professional and a little early for his estimate appointment. He was also informative. He seemed interested in selling us what we wanted and needed without trying to convince me to buy something more expensive (e.g. decorative glass in the door). The new door arrived in his originally estimated time frame (special order since it is oversized), and it was installed the day after it arrived at his warehouse. The gentleman that installed the door was also professional and nice.

Ed provided prompt and courteous service. The job was completed on time. The work area was cleaned up, following installation of the new door. The cost of this 16 X 7 insulated garage door was very reasonable compared to other estimates received from several larger companies.
