I called, he came, did a good job. Then he left.

It was a tricky job because our house is older, so he had to go to the hardware store to get some different plugs. He was very professional, safety conscious and he did some upgrades for us. He didn't increase the price for this either. He did a great job.

It was a great experience. Since I was out of town, they just left the bill and I sent a check. They were very quick in arriving and took care of the problem in less than a day from the initial call.

They were very responsive and came very quickly. They fixed the door, so we could at least use it for that day, then came back to fix it permanently. They were professional and friendly.

He was timely, very professional, and quick to respond. He had very good prices and was cheaper than I anticipated.

They were outstanding. One guy came out and gave the estimate and I accepted it. They arrived at the appointed time. They were in and out doing the job. It only took them about 4 hours to do it.

Older gentleman came and replaced the springs on our garage door. I had called him 2 days before. He came out and looked at the door. I have an old 2-car garage door. He needed to get parts. He was back a couple hours later and installed the parts with no problem. Door has been working fine for over a week now. He did a good job and was professional.

I had to call three or four times because it wasn't working properly but they came over promptly and repaired the opener they didn't stop until it was working properly. They gave me two car openers because of these problems.

It went very well. The owner came out and he helped me choose the garage door that I bought. The owner was genuinely nice. They are very comfortable to work with.

He came out a couple years ago because we were having a small problem. He didn't charge us. He came out this time promptly. They are excellent people. He was very courteous. He was always there when he said he was going to be there. When he had to come to do a few adjustments, he did not charge us. I would recommend him to others.

An older man stayed and adjusted the door until it was just right instead of just seeing if it worked once. They gave me a $5.00 discount and they were super conscientious about the work. They came out right away and stayed until the problem was corrected. He even said he would come back if it went wrong again with no charge. The door works great now!

They were excellent! They came out and gave an estimate. They were courteous and prompt. We had used them in the past and so we called them again.

I called Ed at 8AM today and he was able to come out when I arrived home at 4PM. He was there promptly at 4 and went right to work. In addition to replacing the broken springs, Ed set all of the adjustments for the door opener and made sure everything was working correctly before leaving. As always, Ed did a great job at a great price and I recommend him without hesitation.

For the last service, I called them and explained we somehow broke a bracket that attaches the garage door opener to the garage. Ed came out the next morning, fixed it, and never charged us. The time before that, I called and talked to Ed (the son) who was terribly sick but carried on anyway and got me on the schedule. He apologized for me having to wait a few days for service, but I know they were working around one of them with the flu and it was fine. Ed Sr. came out according to schedule, installed the new garage door opening, and left an invoice taped to the door. I didn't even need to be at home. Working with E and E Doors is like working with your favorite uncle and cousin who are also respectable, hardworking craftsmen.

The first product installed was unsatisfactory because of resonance frequency (vibration) through the garage rafters which are underneath the master bedroom. Ed Kikendoll installed a costlier direct drive opener, because he'd claimed the new opener would be quieter than the old one, and it wasn't. Ed did not attempt to charge me the difference because my satisfaction was more important to him than more $$ in margin. Could not have handled the situation any better!!!

No problems found and quick installation.

Garage door wouldn't shut entirely; phoned E and E (because I was satisfied with previous work a few years ago); Mr. K came out to give me an estimate; we agreed to price, and he returned to do the work for the exact estimate amount. I phoned E and E when I realized that the second entrance from my home to the garage did not have a functioning opener button - just an oversight. Mr. K said he would return the following week to connect it, and he did - at no extra charge. My elderly mother was home when work was being done, and she was very pleased with professionalism and politeness of Mr. K. I'm very pleased with the work and the replacement opener.

My husband was pleased with them. He came during inclement weather when it was difficult to get anyone else to come out. Everyone else was saying it would be a week or two before they could come out. The opener he put in was an improvement from what we previously had. He took down our old opener and hauled it away, which I thought was great! We were pleased overall with their service. We also received an Angie's List discount.

The process was very satisfactory. I called Eand E on a Thursday morning and told them I needed a new opener. He told me it would be $375 but he couldn't have anyone out until the following Monday, which was fine. At 8am Monday, a young man arrived and got to work. He was polite and obviously very well qualified. After about 2 hours, he was finished, explained all that needed explaining, and was off. He cleaned up all materials and we were very satisfied. I recommend this company and would use them again.

Everything went great and got repaired. A bit more expensive than I thought it would be. I had to have it done, but in retrospect, I should have asked for an estimate.

The owner came out and replaced the mechanism because the overhead garage door would not stay closed. After the installation, the door continued to malfunction. When I called, the owner came out within a few minutes and replaced the sensors and the wiring that went with that function. The door has functioned well since.

One of our garage door springs snapped at some point during the day when my wife and I were at work, and we couldn't get it open when we got home. After looking up a few names on Angie's List that night, I called E and E first thing in the morning. After asking Ed a few basic questions (cost, time, etc.), he told us he was able to come over ASAP. I called a few other places to compare prices, and his easily beat the others. So, I called him back and he came right over. After realizing he needed a different size spring than what he brought with him, he quickly got the parts he needed, came right back and got the job done in about half an hour. He was very friendly and easy to talk to the entire time, and was more than happy to answer a few questions I had as he worked. He finished up, made sure the door was working perfectly, and went on his way. From start to finish, we're very pleased with his work and the results.

Eand E installed a garage door opener more than a year ago. Recently, the door would not always open. They were scheduled to come out at 8:30; they came a little early and had the door fixed in probably about 10 minutes and charged nothing. What could be better?
