Doug Humble

Doug Humble is the best Electrician and Contractor that we ever had the opportunity to do business with. We just bought our home and was having our kitchen remodeled. We were so happy with Doug and his work that each time he completed a project we looked for more work to keep from losing him. To name just a few things that we had him do after he finished wiring our kitchen: - Replace our electric water heater with gas tankless water heater, - install 2 large commercial ceiling fans for our workshop, - rewire and add a variety of electrical outlets around our workshop, - install workshop lights, - redo all the recessed lights in our kitchen, etc. What makes Doug Humble so special and what makes him standout is that he listens carefully, he's honest, and is proactive. It has been our experience that after explaining each of our issues he has always given us a list of options. When you listen to his options you will find that he is very knowledgeable and that he is looking to provide you the best quality of service for the best price. For example: We were having difficulty trying to decide where to place all our wood and metal working equipment. Rather than just adding a bunch of electrical outlets to the walls of our large workshop - he suggested adding 3 long retractible electrical cords that have an outlet box with 2 different plates on each side so that we can arrange our equipment according to the project. Another example is when Doug installed a vent for my Mother's bathroom. He installed the vent switch next to the light switch so that 1 plate would cover both switches. Where he went above and beyond is that he replaced the light switch with a lighted switch so that it would be easier for my Mother to find at night. Last, we just put our prior home up for sale. Within 2 days, and on a Saturday, we ran into an electrical problem with our garage. Without having to explain, Doug understood the urgency and fixed our problem the following day. When we first met Doug, he explained how he doesn't work on weekends because family time is important to him. So when he came out on Sunday to fix our problem, we knew that he cared about our predicament of having 2 mortgages and needing to sell our house. When you hire Doug Humble you definitely get more than knowledgeable Electrician. You get a man with principals that cares about you and the quality of his work. We have never looked for another Electrician after working with Doug and we never will. We have never given anyone else a hire recommendation.
