Don did a phenomenal job at his workshop (home garage). He knows his metallurgy, is a consummate professional; working carefully. It took him a little while to respond to my initial request for an appointment, but after that he was responsive and courteous. The item I brought to Don is a bike AND adult Tricycle carrier, the carrier is heavy (75+ lbs) and complicated. The various components used to accommodate the bike and tricycle would loosen and shift. After I made certain that the bike and trike would sit properly on the carrier, Don did 17 spot welds to permanently lock the various components in place. I would employ Don in the future and highly recommend him for any welding job; large and small.

He is busy so we had to wait several weeks for service but the work was done well.

I never heard back from the company although I left several phone messages and messages through Angie's List.

Called Don's and dropped off at his shop (which is his home), he said it would be about 2-3 weeks. Chair came back within the promised time and was a job well done and for a reasonable price! He even painted the welded area to match.

We'd had this antique victorian wrought iron rocking chair that has an intricate design on it for a number of years that had many welds that were failing. Don't was able to clean up all the welds & make the chair solid again. Great job, timely responses, & very reasonably priced. Thanks Don!

Don did fabulous work! He was prompt, professional, and responsive. He knew what he was doing. He commented that the original weld from the manufacturer was poorly applied and he would ensure that the weld was done properly and solidly. He also made and added 4 gussets to reinforce the place where the base and the tabletop connected to strengthen and reinforce the area. He picked up the piece on Thrusday and promptly delivered the completed piece today, Monday. I was so pleased and surprised at how quickly he turned the job around. He even painted the area black to match the rest of the table. His price was amazingly reasonable. I am tickled to death that the table has been repaired and reinforced. He was a pleasure to deal with, and very skilled.

I have a house built in 1920, and everything is hard to replace. A brick in my fireplace fell on the ash dump door and broke it. When I tried to find a replacement, I was referred to the Smithsonian where they had one dating from 1926. I took it to Don, and he welded it back together. Since then, I've been happily building fires to ward off the chill. Don was very gracious. He was going to charge $15.00, but he knocked it down to $10.00 because he didn't like the way it looked. He's very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.

Don came to my house to pick up the piece. He was very careful to understand what I wanted, gave great alternative suggestions, did the work very well and on time, and delivered back to me.

We tried twice to repair the piece but the weld didn't work and broke again. On the last day of contact, he was a no show at his home on the south side. And no phone call until two days later. I decided it wasn't worth it to continue to use him since the drive was long and I didn't want to experience it again.

Don did a great job fixing the lid to my gas grill. He also fixed a broken leg on my wrought iron chair.

He was very nice, efficient and didn't charge a ton.

Needed a rusted bolt cut off of a basketball goal.

The grill needed to be welded. He has all of his welding stuff on his truck. He did a great job and he is a great guy.

He is fantastic. When he first came we were so impressed by his professionalism. He talked to us and told us what he could do for us and he did a very good job. I would recommend him anywhere.

Mr. Outlaw even charged me less this time as he didn't take as long. I literally had $10 more cash in hand. He refused the overcharge and explained why. Honesty and forthrightness go a long way; he is a person you can trust to do the job well and stand by his work.

He made an appointment for Friday and I brought the bike to his shop. After an hour of disassembly and investigation, he sent me off to complete the rest of my day. A couple hours later, he called staing the repair was complete. I came back by and the bike was fixed and the repair area repainted. I did not even know it had been broken and mistakened the repair area when inspecting the bike. He's an honorable, upstanding, Christ-centered small business owner who does great work. I would recommend him without hesitation.
