Description of Work: They charged a premium mulch rate. The mulch just lasted 3 months. Very disappointed with the service. I think they did a terrible job of not applying the appropriate thickness

I am so sorry that you were less than satisfied with the work that we completed for you. But we can only lay what you purchased and you only purchased 3 yrds of mulch. Also a large factor is we had quite a bit of rain in the summer months that will cause your mulch to shift in different directions. But for thicker mulch you should have purchased more or asked us for advice as if it would be thick enough for your expectations. Description of Work: Darren was the head landscaper and one other landscaper came. They trimmed all of my bushes as requested (there were quite a few), cut down vines that were climbing up a large tree, weeded flower beds and trimmed some small decorative trees. Description of Work: I am very satisfied with Diversity Lawncare. The staff was very nice, especially Lawanna. She worked with me to set up the day I would have my grass cut. My appointment time was set for Wednesday, July 22. I was so surprised and very happy because they came on Tuesday, July 21. I had to pay a little more because my yard was more tha 8000 sq ft. In fact, my yard was over 13,000 sq ft. I didn't mind paying more for the job at all. The work today was well done!

I am sorry we were not able to accept customer for the mow deal. The deal states up to 8000 sq ft for that deal. We do offer to do it for an additional amount but no one usually want to pay more, just want a deal. We would have loved to serve customer. Thanks Belinda

Description of Work: They were on time greatly appreciated however I paid for 8 hours of service and only got 4hrs so they left right at the 4hr mark without notice and did not complete all of the written and verbal work. This was my first time using Angie list as well using Diversity lawncare.if a person is requesting a 8hr day and they only send 2 men to do what is definitely 8hrs worth of work then they should have sent 3 men so that work can be done right not halfway done so i had to find another company outside of angieslist 3 men should up and finished what diversity started and completed the job and yes I had to pay them an additional $206.00.

Sometimes I guess it does not matter how much over and beyond you go for people. Before the customer even purchased the deal we talked to her over 10 times. She kept complaining about previous landscapers, how they did not complete the job or didnt do this or that right and that her mower just quit. She had a day care and since we like our customers to feel confident in us before we start, we asked a current customer with a daycare if we could give her number to this potential customer to tell about our service she said yes. We gave this customer the number but she never called. We got a list from the customer and set a date and explained how the 8hrs worked to her and asked if she wanted to go over the 8hrs. She said no and my assistant was standing next to me when she explained everything. Before her scheduled date she added a mow to her list and said her dad will be there to supervise. The landscaper had her list that she listed and mow was added to the bottom. The landscapers had their list and knew what to do and really didnt need supervision. When the crew got there and started working her 96 yr old dad came out with his machete and everytime the supervisor was doing something he would stop him and have him do things not even on the list. Time was wasted because the whole time there her father did the same thing - stopped him at whatever he was doing to do something he felt he should do. Customer asked for hauling and the landscaper told her it would be $75. She agreed. Her time was out and the crew left frustrated from the whole situation. Customer called saying why didnt they mow. Told her they ran out of time. She talked to my assistant several times and upset her so I decided to talk to her. I told her my tech would come back in 2 days and do a complimentary mow. She said that was not good enough she wanted it done that day so she was gonna get her dad to find someone that day. Once talking to her explaining her time was out and how her dad took up some of that time, she claimed she did not know it was 4hrs for 2 men. When I told her my assistant was standing next to me when she explained it to her she said well I guess I didnt hear or it went over her. Then she said Angies List should make the deal clear for a woman to understand. The deal was made very clear on Angies List it breaks the hour down for 1 or 2 people working. When I asked her about the $75 she said she had the check but he left before she knew it. Then she went on to say he didnt get all she wanted hauled. I told her I would send him back and she could show him the rest and give him the check. When he went back to get the rest she basically scolded him for 40 minutes telling him she dont have it cause she had to get someone to complete and he would have to wait for 2 weeks for it. That was unexceptable she knew payment was due when the work is completed. And she was offered to go over to complete the job in the beginning but said no. Once the tech called me and told me, I called and she said the same thing and did not want to listen to me and as a matter of fact hung up on me. I didnt call back I just mailed her the invoice and lets see what comes in 2 weeks. We will continue to try to do all we can for our customers no matter what.

Description of Work: When I purchased the deal with Diversity, the company promised to contact me within 4 days. I called Angie's list for help and Luanna called me the next day. She said she was waiting to hear from us the dimensions of our gate. I assured Luanna that we had no gate and would like to be scheduled. Luanna said she'd call me back to let us know when they would be out to mow our lawn. I called Diversity again after a few days and asked again to be scheduled. Luanna was very nice and again took my phone number and indicated she would be returning my call that same day. This was on May 6,I believe. And I called Angie's List the next day. The Angie's List rep said she would email me the refund form on May 6 or 7. She double checked my email address. I never heard back from Diversity and did not receive the email form from Angie's List Today,(May 11), I called Angie's List again and learned I wasn't entitled to phone support because I had only a basic membership. This was interwoven into the conversation multiple times but the rep did say he would help me this one time. Was this condescension necessary since I would not have Angie's List if I had received the form when it was promised? This entire experience has been frustrating, time-consuming and very disappointing.

This customer was contacted and was given the info that was provided to me by the technichian. I have only spoken with l[member's name removed] on one occurance. And done all that I could on my end to assure the services were completed. The guys were off schedule in the beginning and the customer was told that the guys were trying to get back on schedule. The technician had some confusion on the addresses and that is where the miscommunication came into play. This isn't something that we do regularly and I do mapologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused the customer. Lawanna

Thank you for contacting us for an estimate. Spring is the busiest time of the season. People are calling for everything. We do try our best to get back in a timely manner. I am sorry that we were not able to get back with you in the time frame you expected. Sometime people don't realize how busy it is or just don't care, just want things right away. I like to let people know just how busy we are. With rain every week and still maintaining regular customers, purchases and estimates spring is just overwhelming to start with. Once the rain calms and gives us at least 4 out 5 working days, things run smooth However, today is the day I was contacting everyone I need to contact. That means everyone I need to give some type of message to. So I am on my list now and have been since 9:00 this morning. While I realize we are not going to make everyone happy, I like to try our best. Even thou I know we cant meet everyone's time frame, we do the best we can. Sorry for your wait. I am sorry you were not satisfied. Our goal is to satisfy the customer, however sometimes it is hard cause some people are never satisfied no matter how hard we try. First of all when someone is not happy they make things worse than they actully are. The price was not as is shown, the 2 hours was never promised but it is 1 hr per person. There was 3 people performing the job, it was windy and the neighbors leaves kept blowing in customers yard so they were there past 2hr which is past 6hr and purchase was for 5 hrs. Then the customer later complained about leaves still in the bushes which wind blew. So I told the customer when the crew comes back to his area they would come back to his house. 11/13 the crew was in area and went back and removed leaves from the bushes which was more extra time beyond the purchased time. Sorry we could not please you. As far as the price, if it was so bad why was the deal purchased? Thanks for allowing us to serve you
