+ 1 moreThe lawn cutting is $39. They were very responsive. I will be using them all summer long. The lady I talked with to schedule it has been extremely nice. They have been very responsive. She answers the phone; the minute I say help, she is there. It is a very nice company and I like it.
Description of Work: I used Diversity Lawncare two days ago to cut the grass and do edging. They also removed leaves. They came out about a month ago to clean up the yard.

+ 0 moreDiversity Lawncare cuts and edges my lawn. They do a great job and my yard always looks fantastic. If I had to change one thing, I wish they were a little more consistent in the day they mow. However, I know weather is a factor and probably cannot be helped. I would absolutely recommend them.

+ 0 moreOverall, the experience was great. I travel a lot so I wasn’t there to oversee the work. I met with the owner and told them exactly what I wanted done, and he conveyed everything to the crew. They did everything that they said they would and completeled the work in a timely manner. The technicians were very friendly and professional people, so I enjoyed working with them. In fact, I want to have them do other work for me this upcoming season.
Description of Work: They worked on two of my properties. In one yard, they redesigned all of the flowerbeds, and corrected basically all of the outside work that another company had done incorrectly.

+ 0 moreWe had switched from another lawn care provider and we’ve been very pleased with Diversity. I pay by the month with a credit card. I didn’t notice that they had accidently charged one extra month, and they sent me a check! They’re not always consistent with the days that they come out instead of a specific day, but that doesn’t me. They’re honest and very professional. They’re a very good company to work with!
Description of Work: They do weekly mowing and edging. In the beginning of the season, they’ll do hedge trimming, basic lawn care, and garden cleaning (weeding).

Diversity came for an estimate one day after I contacted them and provided a competitive estimate. They completed the work just a few days after that. There was hardly a leaf left on our property!

I called Diversity LawnCare for an estimate for leaf removal and mowing and received an estimate on the same day. I called them back the next day to schedule the job. The work was done two days later. I talked to a Representative for the company who called to give me the estimate and schedule the job. She called to inform me when the workers would be at my home in advance so I could ensure my pets weren't outside. They did an outstanding job removing the leafs, mowing and trimming the front yard. I wasn't home when the work was done. The Representative for the company was very professional and customer focused. She called the same day the service was performed to see if I was satisfied. I received an email from her thanking me for my business.

+ 0 moreThree men came the week before Thanksgiving. They cleared the beds and any areas where leaves had lodged against the house, behind the air conditioning unit and inside the trash storage area. I spoke with one of the crew (Tim's brother) and asked if they would blow out the garage, which they did. It only took about 2 1/2 hours and looked perfect. As a side note, this year we had so much blowing and cool weather prior to their visit, we didn't have nearly the accumulation we have had in the past. Because of that, we contacted Tim to say we didn't think a second sweep was necessary. He agreed and we settled on half the estimated price. We will definitely call Diversity Lawn Care as other projects arise (snow removal, trimming, hauling, etc.). We communicated with Tim mostly by e-mail, and he was prompt and responsive in his replies. Great job.
Description of Work: Searched Angie's List to get several bids for our clearing yard of leaves this fall. Three out of five providers put bids in mailbox. Tim Boyd was one of two who actually came to the door, introduced himself, asked a few questions and said he'd have a bid to us via e-mail that night. He was very personable, respectful and nicely dressed. His bid was under others we'd received, but I was already impressed with his presentation. We have a little less that !/2 half acre with a variety of large mature trees. Our neighbors' lots are similar so there is a lot of blowing and trading leaves back and forth. Also, while the grass is still growing in the fall my husband goes out a couple more time and mows with a mulching mower. Tim's bid was for 2 visits (one before Thanksgiving and one after) was $320 total.

+ 1 moreAfter getting several estimates, I went ahead and hired Diversity. I had originally told them that because I have some trees that drop late, there was no hurry to get it done. However, at the last minute, I found out that we were going to host Thankgiving dinner at my house. I emailed them the Sunday before Thanksgiving and asked them if they could take care of my job prior to the holiday, certainly understanding if they were too busy. To my pleasant surprise, they showed up the following day and did a great job. I will be calling them again in the spring to get estimates on some other lawnwork. They were terrific!

+ 3 moreI t went very well. I called on monday and he came out the same day to look over the project. Tuesday and Wednesday they worked practically the whole days to finish the job. He hjas promised to come back one more time to clear out the leaves one more time and reseed the ground again. I really enjoyed working with him. He was so prompt I must have found him just when he needed work.
Description of Work: First used a Big Deal for lawn Cleanup and then addedremoval of a sick tree, grinding of 4 stumps, cleaning out a fince line, reseeding, bringing in top soil to even out lawn, and 5 tons of river rock to provide a path where nothing would grow. He mowed and airiated the soil that had the unfortunate effect of cutting my cable that was only burried about 1/2 inch in the back yard (not his fault).

+ 1 moreWe had a bunch of grass behind our shed that bad been dug up to create flowerbeds around the deck. Diversity came out, gave us an estimate, and agreed to haul away all of the grass and to also clear out 2 corner flower beds that were overloaded with old, excess mulch. We made an appointment after the estimate and the work was completed within 2 days (Called Monday, work done on Wednesday). We were pleased with the quality of the work, but the owner of the company was not, so with no extra charge, he sent another crew out to clear out more from the corner flower beds. The 2nd clearing was the Friday of that same week, and everything looks wonderful! Also very flexible about payment options and flexibility with payment, since we were not home during either of the days when work was completed. Highly recommended and will use again in the future!!

Even if a business is too busy to accept new clientele, they should at least contact the clientele and let them know that they are not accepting new clientele. OR If the business is too busy at the time to make an appt. to quote services, they should at least make contact to let the person who requested a quote know that status.

+ 2 moreTim came out to give an estimate. He was on time and professional. After we agreed to the estimate. His team arrived within the 10 day window that was agreed upon to do the work. The team arrived early in the morning and set to work. All of the beds were cleared, edged, and mulched. The team was professional and polite. They were very thorough. The beds look beautiful. Diversity comes out to our home once a week and mows. The yard always looks fantastic. On occasion I have asked that they spray for weeds or trim up bushes and they set to work. I would highly recommend Diversity Lawn Care!

+ 0 moreI was very pleased with my experience. We needed an emergency lawn mowing, as our mower was in the shop and our grass was getting quite long. I didn't expect to be able to get anyone out immediately, but I left a message with Diversity explaining my situation. My call was returned shortly, and he said that he'd be able to come out right then as he was on my side of town. He arrived within 10 minutes of our call, checked things out, and got the job done. Originally I was just interested in having the front mowed, since I couldn't handle the (broken) gate to our back yard on my own. He moved the gate for me and got to the back as well as the front. He was friendly and professional, and the price seemed completely reasonable.
Description of Work: My lawn was mowed and the edges were trimmed.

+ -1 moreMy perception is that it was discrimination at it's finest. Again... this is my perception. I will not recommend this company. And it should not use the name Diversity... because it's not.
Description of Work: I email Tim at Diversity Lawncare to get a free estimate for aeration of my front and backyard. He promptly emailed me back with a automatic email office response and then he emailed me later saying that he would drop by to give me an estimate in the next couple of days. Later that evening I was in the backyard and heard something out front of the house. It was Tim to give me an estimate. The exchange was very awkward and he wouldn't make eye contact. My perception was he wasn't happy to be there and that in some way I offended him. He gave me the esimate of $80 for both front and back and said he could do it in about ten days. He told me that I may not want to do the backyard because of our corgi puppy. The email below was the second I sent him because the first email I received no response: Subject: 5434 Winthrop Ave To: "'info@diversitylawncare.com'" Date: Friday, March 25, 2011, 4:47 PM Tim, I wasn’t sure you received my email or not. It was just that we want the front aerated and not the back. Please let me know when you think you might provide this service and what the cost is… Thanks, This is the response I received from him today: Sent: Monday, April 04, 2011 6:56 AM To: Graphman, Kris Myles Subject: Re: 5434 Winthrop Ave Ms. Graphman, I am so sorry for the inconvenience, we have gotten swamped with work therefore, not sure when we will be able to preform the job. I do not want to keep you waiting nor have you in limbo, so it would be in your best interest to have another company provide you with the services in a timely manner. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks. Please take note of the dates above. And the fact that I'm not a woman.
