Diversity Lawncare

We had no troubles with scheduling and it was just as expected in our time frame. We needed a lot of mulch and they brought and spread it all as well. I had priced around other landscapers for the mulch and the clean-up and we saved over $1,000 on all of the work. Two young men arrived for the work and they even introduced their selves. I was amazed at how quickly and hard they worked. They did the work in the front and back. They completed the entire job in about four hours and I was very impressed! It was just phenomenal and I have even called the office to put me on the schedule for next year. It was a great experience and I am very happy with the work.

There was a little bit of miscommunication on the scheduling side, but all worked out just fine in the end. They were very efficient and the yard looks much better. They even left behind some extra mulch for me so that I could fill in around my new lamp post.

They did a great job. They were pretty booked up because of all of the Big Deals they sold but the work they did was great and left my yard looking great. I would recommend them to others and even told my neighbors to use them for some tree triming. They quoted my neighbors for tree service while at my house.

Fine, have been with them now for three years

We had bought it in the fall and they were going to come the next week, but they didn’t come out and it kept getting pushed back and then snow hit. They didn’t come out until Spring. Where they have done their job, it looks wonderful! I only saw the technician twice but they got right to work and did their jobs very nicely.

My front yard landscape was an overgrown mess so I looked on Angie's List for reputable help and there was Diversity Lawncare. The small "flower" beds were leftover from the home builder but I had other plans and ideas. From a rough drawing Diversity Lawncare was able to transform an overgrown mess to a beautiful vista. I can't thank them enough! I now have large flower beds that have added topsoil and a deep layer of mulch that will make the bushes and flowers flourish.

I was on a wait list for scheduling because they were busy; they were good about communicating when they would get to me. I was out of town while they performed the service. I left a list so they would have plenty of work for the eight hours. They raked leaves, picked up twigs, and edged around the beds.

We asked the two gentleman from Diversity to weed along one side of our rather long fence and to trim back any bushes that might be up against it. They were fast and stayed the whole four hours (2 guys + 4 hours = 8 hours of landscaping services). We had no complaints about the work they did on our side of the fence, but when they went to the other side, rather than trimming a few tree limbs out of the way, they cut down the whole trees! Seeing as how these trees were on the other side of the fence... yep, you guessed it - the trees weren't ours. Fortunately, we have a very understanding neighbor. Perhaps we weren't clear enough about the other side of the fence, but If you hire them, make sure to be crystal clear about what you want - especially if your neighbors wouldn't be nearly as understanding as ours in this situation. One additional note. We did have a hard time getting even a rough start date for the work and when we tried to nail it down to a window of time, the office emails took on an irritated tone. We understand that there was a lot of rain this spring, but we had other work we were trying to plan on the house. We didn't think inquiring about scheduling the work we paid for warranted the tone.

Exceeded my expectations in terms of how much they accomplished during the contracted hours. Communication and scheduling was easy and friendly, service providers were professional and extremely thorough. Would hire again and recommend to others.

They did a fine job delivering the mulch, cleaning out the beds and spreading it. However, there were a few problems on the communications side. It was difficult to get a firm date for when the service would be provided, which is a challenge since we both work and were supposed to be home when it was provided. When the date was finally scheduled, they arrived, spread the mulch and left, without any interaction with me (I'm not sure why I needed to be home). The guys spread the amount of mulch that we had purchased, then left, even though one of our garden beds hadn't been done. We would have been happy to pay whatever the cost was of the additional mulch - we didn't want to leave one of the beds undone, but they never came to the door to tell us what the situation was. In addition, they didn't leave a bill (we had agreed to pay extra for the spreading and bed cleaning) or tell us what the amount was, so I assumed that they were going to mail us a bill. However, the next day, we got a phone call and email message from Diversity telling us that payment was due upon delivery of the service - this was rather surprising, since we didn't even know the amount that we were supposed to pay. We then made the payment online and scheduled spreading of mulch for the remaining bed. This was scheduled for yesterday. However, they did not come (my husband missed a day of work to be home for this) or call to tell us that they would not be able to make it, and we still haven't heard from them. I have no idea whether this service will be provided or not, since they haven't communicated with us about it.

It was fine. They communicated with me within two days of purchasing the deal and let me know that they were booked for a couple of weeks. Our need was kind of time sensitive so that is why we are requesting a refund. We used them last summer and they did a good job.

This was not only the best deal we had ever encountered, the mulch itself is gorgeous (as mulch goes!). They did have a few transport issues with the delivery, but were very timely in letting us know what was happening and how to adjust our expectations. I understand that things happen--trucks malfunction, the weather gets sketchy--but the difference is, Diversity emailed and called us at every change in plans. It was greatly appreciated and they worked hard to meet our expectations. I am very interested in other services they may provide because of their great service and work ethic.

Terrific. They were friendly and double checked with me about a few things before moving forward. They clearly wanted me to be happy with the end product.

The company can't perform the service in the time frame I require. They've been responsive and up-front about their schedule.

It went just fine. We were in contact with each other. They wanted to know specifics about where to unload the mulch and all that good stuff. We were in good communication with each other and I appreciated it. They were very pleasant. It was a good price. I did some math and some homework on it and I thought it was a good price.

It went extremely well. The office staff was friendly and responsive. It took a few weeks to get the service performed, but we were advised of that fact upfront. I was also informed up front that there would be an additional $50 cost for the fill dirt and grass seed. On the day promised 2 laborers arrived-- on time, clean and professional in appearance asked. We quickly discussed what I needed and they did it precisely as requested. I wasn't able to stay and "supervise", so was especially pleased when I arrived home to see they had exceeded expectations! In summary, I would highly recommend Diversity Lawncare for any needs you may have in this area. I will no doubt be using them again later for further projects! .

The service turned out very well. They stayed in communication and they actually fixed a cut landscaping light from last year and they accidentally cut one as well so they took responsibility for that and they did the repair. I kept adding in service and they never charged anything additional. I was not present for the service but the lady that handled the scheduling and the service was very responsive with questions and she was nice to work with. They were able to do the work before a party that we were having.

We purchased a Big Deal for 3 cubic yards of mulch. The office staff was responsive and helpful, and clearly explained our color options. We were not home when they delivered the mulch, but they dumped the mulch on the tarp we left on our driveway, just as we'd asked them. We are very satisfied with the quality and color of the mulch.

Service went as expected and they did a good job of setting up expectations for delivery and time.

I knew my yard was larger than the deal included. When they re-quoted the job it exceeded what other vendors had quoted me even including the deal. We could not come to an agreement on the terms of the cost. The gentleman who did come out was professional. I had the deal refunded by Angie’s List because they were not helpful or communicative.

Two workers from Diversity Lawncare arrived at 9 AM. They diligently weeded flowerbeds by hand, trimmed two large and seven smaller bushes, cleared away old leaves and debris, and spread mulch that I provided in the beds. They also cleared out some unwanted shrubbery and planted a butterfly bush. They worked hard in the sticky heat and were friendly. I'm glad I bought that Angie's List deal!

Responsive, thorough, and prompt - will use again.

The service has gone well so far. I am waiting for them to come out for the service. They tried to reach me Friday, but I was unavailable. He called me this morning to let me know he got my message and can probably come out within the next few days. Their responsiveness had been a little slow because they are so busy. I am looking forward to having the service completed
