Description of Work: Pete, Diane, and Cory were very professional, responsive and easy to do business with. We purchased a new custom safety pool cover, had them install it, and had the pool vacuumed and winterized. It looks great, and it is strong enough to drive a car onto it. We have small children, so safety was of utmost concern to us when purchasing a pool cover.

We still have to see if the chlorine generator is the best choice, but it seems these newest generation units are fairly easy with maintenance and chlorine prices are going up (apparently have increased almost 40% last year). Our pool is a year round facility in a 30 x 60 aluminum frame and polycarbonate/glass walls/ceilings, (garden Prairie building) so we were able to take advantage of the pre-season savings on the liner. But I would recommend Pete's company for anyone wanting quality at a bargain price.
Description of Work: Pete quoted a project to replace a vinyl liner in a 20 x 40 pool and replace the automatic pool cover. This was performed while we were out of town on a vacation so we had some conversations by phone. They did excellent work and the quote (included a 20% pre-season discount from the Home Show in Feb 2008) was about 50% of what the group that installed the pool 12 years ago quoted. Also, the materials were better for the cover (heavier gauge). They also did coping repair and removed a diving board. We subsequently also had them install a new salt-based chlorine generator system that will hopefully be less detrimental to the cover and liner. (Cost of liner & cover was about $5000 and the chlorine generator was $1800). It also cost about $800 to replace all of the water in the pool, but that was done directly with a pool water supplier although Pete provided "fire hoses" to aid in getting the water out and in.

I HAD BEEN GIVEN 'CONFLICTING REPORTS' FROM A COUPLE OF POOL SERVICE COMPANIES TO REMEDY ISSUES I WAS HAVING WITH MY RECENTLY INHERITED POOL FROM A HOME PURCHASE LAST FALL. PETE WAS HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL WHILE DIANE GAVE EVERYONE A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE 101. PLUS, THEY BEAT THEIR COMPETITORS PRICES BY ALMOST $1000! THE LINER LOOKS GREAT, WAS INSTALLED PROMPTLY AND PROPERLY. PETE ALSO REMOVED MY AUTOMATIC COVER TO BE SENT OUT FOR SEWING REPAIRS AND QUICKLY BROUGHT IT BACK TO REINSTALL SO THE POOL WOULDN'T BE LEFT OPEN. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DIVERSIFIED POOL PROS TO EVERYONE!
