I ordered a table with chairs weeks ago and was told it would take 8-10 weeks to get it in. We visited the store and found a table that was available was told we can take it home with us vs waiting until January 16th 2021 which will be the 10 weeks (due to the Covid). However, we were told we can not get a refund of, our deposit, the previous order. The manager, who lied and told us she was the owner of both stores, told us there are no returns at the store for any reason. I'm disgusted and in disbelief there would be such a policy. It was not a special order, she had to order it because Dinnettland did not have the set in the store or in the warehouse. But she wants to categorize it as a special order. Does anyone know who owns this establishment? I would love to speak with the business owners and inform them that their manager is misinforming customers and bluntly lying.

The manager promised to replace the scratched section of the table and then failed to do so despite multiple contacts with the manager. I got no response to several follow ups. I have bought several tables from the Castleton store with no problems over the years, but this Greenwood store and the manager...I would NEVER trust. I spent a lot of money to receive a scratched table. Even if you get it in writing he will not honor it!

Not well. The salesperson on the phone uses English as a second language. Couldn't understand her. She didn't put me through to someone else. They are closed on Tuesdays, so I can't go to the showroom tomorrow.

I can see that Dinetteland had some negative reviews a few years ago, but my experience was actually quite positive. I looked at a number of dinette sets and when I settled on one, I went home and compared prices online. I found their price was lower than many suppliers online (although when you add tax and delivery they turned out to be competitive with online suppliers, including Amazon.com). I returned to the store and was helped promptly. To order the set I wanted would have taken 8-10 weeks and I wanted the set sooner so they offered to sell me the floor sample and they could just replace. I had Dinetteland deliver for a competitive price of $60. They showed up on time and the set was in flawless condition. It is a gorgeous set. They delivery staff showed me how to adjust the leg heights in case the set goes out of level. No complaints here! Price was competitive, they did exactly what they said they would do and they were professional and courteous.

They just delivered the table today and I noticed 3-4 very light scratches on the table. I asked them to bring me another one and the delivery folks (who were very nice) said they would check with the store. They called and then told me I could call Lilliana and she would take care of it for me. I called her before they left and told her of the scratches and that I would like another table. She insisted the table was perfect and for the price I paid I would not get better quality. Because of the scratches on the table, I wanted a new one. She refused to make the situation right and I advised I was not going to take it like that and would send it back. I then said I would not pay a restocking fee. She insisted I will (I'll take care of that with my credit card company). All I wanted was for her to bring me a new table and she absolutely refused. Right now, my feeling is I will never do business with them again. Too bad, I really liked the table, but I won't be cheated.

I did not buy from them. I was told that I had limited choices, that the manufacturer discontinued certain wood stains and fabrics. I contacted the manufacturer and these were, in fact, still available. Apparently, this store did not want to bother with a special order.
Description of Work: I needed 6 new chairs for my dinette set. I needed to match the wood stain and I wanted to choose the fabric.
