concrete repair
 + -1 moreThe project seemed to go well during most of the process. BIG PROBLEM; Dean (DDC) threatened to put a lien on our house if not paid the week after completion. He had a dispute with the pool builder, and came to our home and threatened us. Job quality: DDC had to be told told to rework a step so water would run away from the house. The concrete truck (another subcontractor)dumped excess concrete in the yard and DDC (Dean's Decorative Concrete) did not wash it down with water. It hardened into a huge mass. DDC promised to remove it but did not, and did not return calls. Months later, we found DDC did not level the two metal volleyball pole cups. When poles were inserted, there was a 30 degree or more lean. Another company was hired to drill out the cups, install new cups, and patch and restain the concrete around the new cups. Although Dean appears friendly and cooperative up front, his company does shoddy work & Dean is not professional. We do NOT recommend this company.
Description of Work: SUBCONTRACTOR hired buy our pool company to frame and pour over 1500 sq ft of colored, stamped concrete around swimming pool, and setting metal cups for handrails and volleyball net. The colored surface was washed with a color release and then stamped.
