Great Work

Great, was very professional.

David is pleasant, but it quickly became apparent he was charging by the hour. Simple tasks took longer than necessary, in part because David made frequent stops to leave and pick up supplies, etc. (rather than waiting until he knew what would be needed and making one trip). His work is satisfactory, but the slow pace does not make it cost-effective.

I would highly recommend using David.

David was able to do the work very soon after the initial contact. He made three visits, rather than two, to do the job because of my time needs. He was a little late all three times but called the first two times. He was organized, efficient, and pleasant. He charged $34/hr (a very reasonable price) but quoted $32/hr on the phone.

David was a no-show. We had an appointment to him to come to my house and do the work. It snowed earlier in the day and traffic was slow in some places. He called my office, even though I was at home, and left a message that he was canceling due to the weather. The roads were fine by the time of our appointment. He promised to call back and reschedule. He never called back. Very unprofessional.

Job went very well, he was on time, and very efficient.

Always calls ahead. Researched multiple vendors for appropriate materials and price. Checks to make sure price is acceptable before ordering materials. Cleans up area after work is complete. (I voluntarily gave a bonus for his work since I did not think the price charged was enough).

I would highly advise anyone use this guy to help you out with odds and ends. Even if he can not help you out with something he probably knows a reliable and inexpensive person who can. I called 7 or 8 different fence companies to get a quote for the work Dave did. Many of the companies would not even give me a quote because my job was so small. Of the companies that did give me a quote they ranged from $315 to $450. Dave was a pleasure to deal with and did everything perfectly. I am definitely going to have him come out and help me out with a few more things around the house.

Eighteen home repair items were presented when Mr. Schulz came in April 2006 to see what I needed done. He was to put me on his work list and call before beginning work. In May I called again and was told I was "second on the list". He failed to call since then to schedule or cancel the work. (It is mid-September now).

Contacted my tenant the day prior to the work to be done so she would know who was working outside. Very pleasant person and excellent results.

He was very clean, appropriate and a great deal less expensive.

David was very polite and right on time. When he got the fan installed and turned it on, he found that there was no power to it. We showed him were the wiring was hooked into and he was quickly able to get things working. His price was actually less than what he had quoted me on the phone.

I called David and received a return call a couple of days later. He apologized for being slow to call back but had been out of town over the July 4th weekend. He came out early the next day in his red pickup truck and got to work. He was very friendly with an informal Midwestern demeanor. He also seemed to me very intelligent. The work was completed over the course of two mornings (it gets incredibly hot up in the attic by midday). David was very conscientious and I would say also meticulous in his craftsmanship. He added a bit of padding to the mounting board to help deaden the vibration, and I later realized how important that was. I was very pleased overall not only because the work was done right and done quickly, but also because David was so agreeable to helping out. I'm sure a lot of contractors would have declined such an uncomfortable work environment, so I'm grateful that David was willing to do this.

DAVID WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. HE HAS A GOOD ALL AROUND KNOWLEDGE THUS ALLOWING HIM TO DO THE VARIETY OF JOBS I NEEDED DONE. THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK WAS EXCELLENT AS HE IS VERY METICULOUS ABOUT DOING THE JOB RIGHT. HE RESPONDED TO MY INITIAL TELEPHONE CALL THE SAME DAY AND CAME BY MY HOUSE A FEW DAYS LATER SO I COULD SHOW HIM THE WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THE PROJECT, HE WAS ABLE TO SPREAD IT OUT OVER A COUPLE OF WEEKS SO HE COULD WORK IT IN TO HIS SCHEDULE AND I WOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG TO GET IT DONE. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE GIVING HIM ACCESS TO MY HOUSE SO THAT I WOULDN'T BE INCONVENIENCED. HE CHARGES AN HOURLY RATE THAT, BASED ON MY RESEARCH, IS VERY REASONABLE. HIS INVOICING PROCESS WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND INCLUDED DETAILED TIME AND MATERIAL EXPENSES. ALL IN ALL DAVID WAS MUCH BETTER AT COMPLETING MY ''HONEY DO'' LIST THAN MY FORMER HUSBAND!!!! I WILL USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM TO OTHERS.

MR. SCHULTZ IS A PERFECTIONIST AND VERY HONEST. DID A PERFECT JOB, ESPECIALLY ON STEPS. CHARGED EXACT TIME SPENT ON LABOR AND EVEN CREDITED FOR NAILS TO BE RETURNED. VERY HARD WORKER AND TAKES PRIDE IN HIS WORK. EXCELLENT HANDYMAN.

MY HOUSE IS NOW FOR SALE AND LOOKS WONDERFUL. HE IS TOTALLY TRUSTWORTHY, HONEST, ON TIME AND CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH OPTIONS.

ON TIME, JOB TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED, BECAUSE 2 FAUCETS NEEDED REPLACEMENT. OVER CAME A COUPLE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS.

IT WAS COMPLICATED INSTALLATION AND HE PERFORMED VERY WELL. WHEN FINISHED, HE MADE SOME SUGGESTIONS ON OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE AND CLEANED UP THE AREA VERY NICELY.

VERY CAREFUL AND NEAT. VERY GOOD ABOUT LETTING YOU KNOW WHEN HE CAN COME. I'VE USED HIM BEFORE AND AM VERY SATISFIED. HE DOES NOT GIVE ESTIMATES, BUT CHARGES BY TIME AND MATERIALS.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. CALL AND DAVID WAS OUT TO DO THE WORK ON THE NEXT DAY AT EXACTLY THE TIME HE SAID - FAST & EFFICIENT.

ALWAYS CALLS AND LETS YOU KNOW WHEN THINGS MAY CHANGE AND HIS SCHEDULING. VERY GOOD WITH COMMUNICATION. ALWAYS GIVES A DETAILED BILL. ALL WORK HE HAS DONE HAS BEEN EXCELLENT.
