+ -1 moreHe fixed everything from the gutter support, the exterior lighting, the brickwork around the fireplace, the gate outside, the threshold on the doors, and plumbing repairs in the basement.
Description of Work: He came and did a lot of fix up work on the home that I was selling. He did a lot of interior work so that it could be sold at a reasonable price.

+ 1 moreWe moved to a new home in 2009, but made many changes, including a basement buildout. Darrell helped us prepare the condo for sale and has been with us every step of the way in customizing our new place. Darrell is knowledgeable and experienced, and we highly recommend him to anyone needing any of the above services. We have been completely satisfied with every aspect of his work. Obviously, because he is multi-talented, Darrell is in demand. He responds to emergencies as a first priorit (such as heating or air conditioning breakdowns, or emergency plumbing issues), so he is sometimes difficult to schedule. I have indicated a "B" in punctuality since he mostly works alone. So, when an emergency comes up in lieu of a normal request, the emergency takes priority over a normally scheduled visit, but he is worth waiting for! Darrell's fees are reasonable, considering that he can repair, replace or add pretty much anything you want.
Description of Work: Darrell is a genius! He does plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and heating, etc. There isn't enough space herein to describe all his abilities, but some of the things he did for us over the course of the last couple of years are as follows: Installed sump pump alarm Installed humidifier on heater/ac unit and replaced analog thermostat with digital Installed new breaker box for basement Installed all electrical in basement Installed and hooked up new kitchen sink, air bath, bidet, new shower and commodes Installed garage door openers Hung crystal chandeliers - one of which was at second story level to main, and chandelier over pool table Installed water softener and water purifier Installed baseboard heaters in basement Installed electricals for kitchen cooktop Plumbed new bathroom in basement Fixed furnace and bathroom fan in condo Responded to emergency when the sump pump was about to overflow onto the basement floor, and he resolved the matter in minutes! Darrell repaired a broken pipe in our well (on the office property we own)..

+ -1 moreHe is a general contractor. He has licenses in everything. He does a lot of commercial work, but he also does residential work. He does heating and air conditioning. He is fabulous. However, he is a little busy. His work is impeccable. He is an absolute genius. He is extremely prompt in emergencies. I don?t think I?ve ever met a contractor, who has so much knowledge as he does.
Description of Work: Darrell’s Home Repair has done a lot of work in the basement of our new home. He has also done some interior work upstairs. He has installed kitchen stoves, sinks and purified water systems. He has also installed a backup sump pump that saved our basement. He has installed new and complicated bathroom fixtures. He has done some electrical work in the basement. He has hooked up a water softener and a humidifier. He has installed the garage door opener system.
