+ -1 moreWhen they arrived Tuesday morning, they immediately put out a tarp over the lawn on both sides of the garage. They tore off all the old shingles and began removing bad wood. Ultimately, they removed all of the decking and all of the rafters. They put new rafters and new plywood decking. The Speedway inspector came by and said another brace was needed inside the garage - not at all part of the contact - but, they did it anyway! They matched the shingles on the roof to the house at no extra cost. They put up new trim on the front of the garage at no extra cost. When the job was complete and they were gone, the inspector came out one last time. Even he was impressed with the quality of their work. He said they did everything he asked exactly the way he asked. On final inspection, they performed work that even he had overlooked. I would recommend Dale and his crew anytime a roof is needed.
Description of Work: My garage roof was in very bad shape. Had 3 or 4 layers and a lot of rotten wood. I did not think it would make it through the winter especially if we had a lot of snow. The rest of the garage is in pretty good shape but the roof needed a lot of work. I called several companies from Angie’s list, three gave me an estimate. Two of the companies really did not want the job because of the amount of work needed to be done and it was not an insurance job. One even said he had 50 houses to do with hale damage. One estimate was open depending on amount of wood needing replaced and carpenter work. Another was very high and said he would replace the whole west side of the roof with new rafters and decking. D & S gave the best price and included all of the wood and work. He came by on Friday with the contract exactly as he said. Got a permit from Speedway Town Hall and began work on Tuesday. Roofing on the east side went into our neighbors yard but the put a tarp over their privacy fence and on their lawn to keep everything clean. Everything about their work matched the reviews I had read on Angie’s list!

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job. Very nice. I highly recommend them. They are very efficient. They are quick. They are very particular about keeping the roofing off your flowers or whatever when they were taken off the old roof.
Description of Work: D & S came out a monthly ago when they put the roof on.
