CSC

I woke up to find my basement flooded with at least two inches of water. The plumber I use for smaller jobs does not do main drains but he referred me to CSC (Commercial Sewer Cleaning). I called then just after 8 a.m. They sent someone to my house the same morning. He used a huge heavy snake to clean the drain. It went perfectly. Eventually all the water drained into the drain in my basement floor. The plumber was efficient, friendly, and very professional.

CSC sent techs out three times to fix them. During the last visit, the technician and I discovered we both had experience with cancer. His niece, my wife. When he discovered the root of the problem--one of my wife's headscarves had ended up getting flushed down the toilet--he retrieved it, got everything running clear, and refused to charge me for a service call that was completely our fault. He told me he hoped my wife was doing well and that his service was but a small gift to help her in her fight. I will never use another drain cleaning service as long as I live.

They were fast, clean, and did a great job. The had the right price and were nice people to work with. I would recommend their services.

I called in the early afternoon and later the same afternoon, Mike Dodd arrived. After listening to my description of the problem he checked a couple of things and then proceeded to clear the blockage. Without an external clean out, he selected a toilet to remove to reach the blockage. He was able to clear the line and then checked all the appliances to make sure things were running smoothly. He reset the toilet and cleaned up after himself. He was very helpful and informative concerning my sewer lines. I was very happy with how quickly they responded and resolved the problem.

They were able to schedule around my day off as our problem wasn't an emergency. We live in an 80 year old house and had a slow basement drain. The technician was able to quickly determine and fix our problem--rust and debris reducing the diameter of our drain pipe. He also provided tips we can to to keep it running ourselves. Very helpful

I'm not happy with the service performed. They didn't inform me that before they did the work the home needed to have running water. They were unable to clean the drain that I really needed done. They offered to come back to do the drain I needed for $60. It seemed to take awhile to get me an estimate. I was able to finally get the water back on and they did come back to snake the drain. He was unable to run the snake up, can only run it downward. Informed me that the clog was coming from the sink to the basement. I seemed to keep bumped off by larger companies. He seems to only want to do commercial businesses instead of residential. He hasn't called me back and won't answer my calls. Spoke to the main office and they seemed to just brush me off, and hung up on me.

Overall very pleased with the service. Very responsive, called Commercial Sewer Cleaning around 8am and by 10am they had a service technician at my home. The line was cleared in 30 or 40 minutes.

I had sewer water coming out of my shower drain and toilet man came in one hour took care of everything! Did a great job knew exactly what to do

They were the 3rd plumber that tried to open the drain and they were able to get the job done. First 2 said their equipment was too heavy to get down the basement steps

They came the next morning after a big snow and pumped out the septic tank. I appreciated their response very much.

I cannot thank them enough. My husband and I woke up at 3:30am on Friday to get ready for my foot surgery, after my shower the toilets clogged and nothing would drain, my husband knew exactly what the issue was - the septic tank was full and needed pumped and/or there was a clog. Knowing I wouldn't be able to walk after surgery I was freaking out about not having a restroom in the house. My husband called a friend that recommended them and it was the best thing that could have happened! They came out within hours, when we didn't even think we were going to get anyone out last minute on Friday. They found the tank promptly and emptied it (eeew), replaced the lid and yard that had to be dug up (very minimal area). We tested that the toilets flushed and it worked perfectly. Being that we had never emptied it in the 7 years that we have had the house I don't plan on needing this exact service, but they will be my go to company for any other service they offer. We were also pleased with the price! Thanks guys for saving the day :)

Service was scheduled same day as call and arrived promptly. Service man was polite and appeared knowledgeable. Cleaned main line from outside cleanout to approximately 100 feet. I would recommend and use again.

I called Commercial Sewer Cleaning this morning and had an appointment this afternoon. Over the weekend both toilets backed up and the washer did also so I suspected a clogged main drain. John came out as promised and was very professional. He seemed to have a lot of experience and even came up with a creative way to access the drain from outside of the house. He cleared the drain of what looked like tree roots and then made sure it was flowing good with all the sinks running and all toilets flushing. I was more than pleased with his work. If I had to do it all again I would certainly call Commercial Sewer Cleaning.

They had to dig up in front of the house and clean out the access to the septic tank. This company was really very good. They charged us exactly what they quoted. They were timely and showed up when they said they were going to. They got the job done with very good quality. I'd use them again in the future.

They were definitely helpful in getting me hooked up with another company that could help me. They did not charge me for the first time when they pulled the toilet as that method did not work. They were here for at least an hour or more. I was really surprised. They did a good job. They were helpful and understood the emergency of the issue.

The technician was polite, prompt, professional and personable. He was knowledgeable and cleaned up after the work was completed.

I found this company to be very professional, on time, and very, very fair. The upstairs toilet in an unoccupied condo was flushing extremely slow, to the point it would almost overflow. The repairman checked it, said everything is fine but that it's limed up. He recommended I put LimeAway in the fill tube for 15 minutes, flush, then give it another treatment. He checked the second toilet, same recommendation. The bathroom sink drain had been running very slow, to the point that it overflowed during one of the recent winter cold snaps. Of course, today it drained fine. The repairman said when I incurred the problem it was probably due to an ice clog in the trap. Today's charge...$0.00...not even a trip charge. This is one fine company to do business with! I will definitely call them whenever I need real help with my drains!

This is the second time I have used them in ~3yrs. They are less expensive than some of the other big brands and provide excellent and timely service. I also really value and trust their opinion on the condition (future) of my old clay tile main line. Give them a call.

Found where blockage was located and used sewer cleaner to clean. Gave advice as to how to prevent future bkickage.

Dave showed up on time and evaluated the problem. He asked a few questions and got right to work with the roto-rooter to clean out the main sewer line. Afterward he had me flush toilets and run water to make sure the line was clear. One of the floor drains in the basement was still draining a little slowly so he got out a hand snake to clear out a little clog right in that drain (not the main line). He gave me a few tips for keeping the line clear and suggested pouring bleach to help remove the smell that resulted from churning up the sludge in the line while he was clearing it. He didn't charge a penny extra for the additional 15 minutes to use the hand snake. I was really satisfied with the price--it was half what we paid another company for the exact same service a few years ago.

They got that fixed, but said there would still be a clog in the main sewer line that I went elsewhere for the work.

I was very impressed at their immediate response to my call. I called at 4:30pm, and a serviceman was at my door by 5:10!! The serviceman was very personable and took the time to listen to all my details of what had been happening. After spending a few minutes figuring out where he thought the blockage may be, he settled on starting in the basement bathroom that tied to the sewer line. He lifted the comode and laid out a tarp so it would not be such a messy affair. He sent the snake down and ran into a huge blockage, cleared it and even sent the snake further and let the line all the way out to clear any tree roots that may have penetrated the line. He cleaned up nicely, put all the nasty debris in a sealed trash bag and left a bill that was very reasonable! He was there for an hour and a half and I paid $180. I was very impressed with his willingness to sit and think about the details I had given him to diagnose the problem before hacking into needless pipes and/or cleanouts. Very impressed with the service from A-Z!

Performed work efficiently and professiionally.

They did a pretty good job. They used a high pressure thing to try to clean it but they weren’t able to help us. We liked that they came quickly because we were in a bind. It was a reasonable cost; we didn’t know what they were doing or what was going on so they could have jacked the bill up. They really just charged us the service fee for coming out and trying to get the blockage out. They made a lot of recommendations for us which was helpful.

John, the company rep came out to inspect my problem. He determined that I pretty much had a clogged drain. He explained the pricing. He asked if I had a sewer clean out. I did not know. Upon some looking around, he found one back behind my washing machine. He hauled the largest snake machine I had ever seen through my backyard, in my back door and down my skinny basement steps. It barely fit. It must've weighed 150lbs by the looks of it. Then he commenced to do 2 honest hours of what looked to be difficult labor wrestling that machine snake down my drain pipes. It was a sweaty, dirty mess. He went out and in several times to make sure the drain was clean. I really feel he went the extra mile to make sure I was not left with a half-baked clean out job. He pulled out nasty clumps of tree roots, paper towels, hair, black stuff, some duct tape, etc. It was no wonder my drain was not running right. By the time he left, I had all my faucets, tub, and toilet flushing at the same time and nothing was slowing down. He explained that it would be best to have them come out again in 3 months to see how the roots continue to grow into my pipes and then schedule regular cleaning from there. At first I thought this was a tactic to generate business since I had not had to have this done the previous 10 years I have owned this property. However, he explained that if you cut the root before they get too big in diameter, less damage is done to the clay pipes. If they are allowed to expand and grow, the clay pipes will eventually crumble. This makes sense to me and seems like good advice. He also recommended copper sulfite or RidX to make the pipes less habitable for roots. 1 tbs a night before bed flushed into the toilet will do it. He said the box says to use the whole thing in 1 flush, but 1 tbs a night at a time works better. Overall, I was very happy with this company and will definitely be calling them back.
