Critter Removal Indianapolis

The owner was prompt in returning my phone calls and coming out to trap the pine squirrels we had getting into our attic. He returned several times to check on the traps and take the animals away.

I was really worried, as I had been hearing cracking every night in the attic and occasional scratching. I saw a darkish spot on the ceiling and thought I had raccoons. This seemed perplexing as I have a new roof, decking, siding, and chimney cap, but I called a few companies to inquire. Mr. Alstott was able to come the next morning, as it turned out, and I engaged his services. Upon arrival, he went all around the house with me and all over the roof, and saw no entry points (I had not seen any either), though he did note that the chimney cap was the wrong size and I needed a smaller one. We checked out the crawl entry, which happened to be barred from the outside, upon raising the lid. Lid had been disturbed and I was worried, but it turns out my husband did that while dealing with another issue. Since the crawl was barred from the outside, obviously, no animal was entering it and then barring the entrance behind him. Mr. Alstott bravely entered the attic since there were no other points of entry anywhere. He found absolutely nothing! No odor and no evidence of any large animals! There was a slight area where a mouse might have made a den, but no evidence of raccoons as I had feared. I almost hugged him, as I had not slept for several nights! He instructed us to purchase and Decon in the attic and crawl space and we have heard nothing since, but an occasional creak, which I now think is because my house is very cold while it is really hot outside. Very happy! I sure wasn't going in there to check! I would definitely call Mr. Alstott again, though I hope I never need to do so!

The vendor came over the evening on the day I called him and set a trap with bait. Two days went by where some chipmunks ate the bait. He came by on the third day after I called him with the results and changed his trap and placed a different bait at twilight. The next morning the raccoon was caught. He came a couple of hours after I called to report the capture and removed the critter and trap. Fortunately there were no baby raccoons under the porch, which would have been an extra charge to remove. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of his service and the fact that he explained the animals behavior and what sort of problems might be involved in catching it.

Jeff provided an excellent service. He captured the raccoon and plugged the hole where she got into my attic. He also took care of an additional hole where smaller critters could enter and provided me with some valuable prevention information.

POC returned phone call immediately. He was courteous and professional. He listened to my problem and gave an honest answer even though it meant the company wouldn't benefit because no service would be provided. Wrote this review so I could remember the company in case I need critter removal in future. I always remember the folks that helped when it didn't benefit them. They are keepers.

In March 2015, Affordable Wildlife (Jeff) removed 2 raccoons from under my deck. Six weeks later I noticed raccoon type noise in the ceiling above my kitchen. After 2 - 3 weeks of denial, I called Jeff. My attic is finished space so it became difficult to determine best way to trap the animal. Jeff was able to set a trap in a small attic type space in the proximity of the kitchen. It took 1 overnight to catch the raccoon. Fortunately it was a non-lactating female - so no babies involved. We were able to secure the entry point (soffit and roof line). During the process, Jeff stopped by my house 4 times. The total cost was $155. I feel very satisfied with the cost and service I received. Jeff is very friendly & easy to work with. I hope to be done with raccoons. If not, I will continue to use this company.

Set traps. Caught 2 of three animals. Took trapped animals away to relocate them Offered advice as to the one that would not enter traps. Conscientious, professional, responsive.

Jeff is very good at his job. he came out and set traps and within a matter of hours and days he had caught 4 of them. I am very satisfied with the work that has been completed. I would absolutely recommend this company to others.

Everything went well. Jeff was very responsive upon our initial call. He came out quickly and set up live traps with sunflower seeds and peanut butter and I think we had our first catch within 24 hours. We thought we perhaps had two or three squirrels in the structure but it turned out to be 7! Jeff was able to determine the s** of each one and had the knowledge that even though we had captured 6 females, there was likely one more critter that we needed to be sure we were clear. Jeff implemented a different strategy to catch him and BINGO! we are now squirrel free. I hope we never have to call Jeff again but if we ever have another problem with critters in our roof we will certainly count on Jeff! By the way, we named each of them: Leslie, Kim, Jennifer, Taren, Heather, Sara & Jeremy (we thought Jeremy was a male at first) The stubborn one that needed a stronger persuasion we named Cullen.

I searched for a wildlife removal company and chose Affordable Wildlife potluck from the list of providers. I spoke with Jeff, who is a one man operation. He was able to come to my home within a day to set traps and review the situation. In all, Jeff came to my home approximately 5 times. We were able to trap 1 raccoon within a day. The second one took more effort, 3 days and use of a different cage to catch. All-in-all it was great dealing with Jeff. He's easy to talk to, very responsive, and professional. As I will likely have more critter problems given that my lot is wooded, I will use Jeff's company again.

Jeff told me over the phone to set traps. I didn't know where the mice were coming from. He did come out and couldn't really identify the source either. We have caught about 12 mice in this basement closet since then, and they are still coming! From where? Frustrated!

Nothing was caught. Everything went well. Jeff was courteous, polite, and professional. He was on time. It was very simple to schedule an appointment with the provider.

We had a squirrel somehow get into our basement on a saturday afternoon. After calling 5 other service providers that ALL said they had 24 hour emergency service, none of them answered the phone and said their office didn't open until monday. Jeff was the only one that answered. He came out early the next day and set some traps in the basement. He helped us try and locate the hole where he got into the house but we could not find it. We trapped the squirrel the next day, and he came right out to pick it up. He went out of his way to stop by the house again to try and find the hole where the squirrel got in. He got up on our roof and patched a hole we just had sealed a couple weeks ago. Jeff was always on time, returned calls, and was very professional. I would definitely use him again.

Jeff, the owner, set two traps on my roof. TThe trap caught one squirrel. within hours and a second the next day. He returned within hours of my call to pick up the squirrels and release in a different location, so they would not freeze and die overnight. He explained the cost to trap the second and additional squirrels. I also had him repair the hole the squirrels used to get into the garage. Jeff was very friendly, responsive and knowledgable about animal behavior. I would use him again and recommend him for these services.

We recently had a small hole in a gable of our home repaired. After the repair was completed, we started hearing scratching noises in the soffit above our kitchen; it seemed that some critter had made the area its home, and it could no longer get out. Knowing that this needed to be addressed quickly-I didn't want a dead animal in a crawl space-I went to Angie's List and searched for animal removal. In the results, I found Affordable Wildlife Removal listed among the providers with coupons. After reading the reviews, I felt confident that this provider would be good to work with, and he was. When I called Jeff, he asked a number of questions about our situation so that he might better understand the job ahead. He was very accommodating in scheduling, and arrived at our home exactly at 4:00. He accessed the situation, and we chose to set a trap inside the kitchen, on the ceiling, where we removed a recessed light. Two days later, we caught an opossum, and the problem was solved. Jeff was extremely pleasant to work with, and I have already recommended him to friends should they ever need his services.

I heard a tapping sound all day coming from, I thought, the attic. I went online and bought the special, called him and he was at my house in 2 hours. He didn't have to go to the attic!!! As it was a woodpecker making holes in my wood trim on the outside. He did do a thorough inspection by going on the roof to make sure no holes were there.

Jeff came out the same day I called him and set up traps very quickly. He was very easy to talk to, professional, friendly and efficient. Within 3 days he had trapped both my raccoons but kept the traps in place for several days to make sure. Then he went way above and beyond the call of duty to purchase for me and install at a very good price chimney caps so that I won't have wildlife getting in my chimney ever again. I was really reluctant to have raccoons trapped before I contacted Jeff as I thought it would be very expensive and I also didn't want them hurt. But Jeff assuaged all my fears in the first ten minutes. Even though he lives 30 miles from me he was always on time and communication was great. So don't hesitate to call him for any wildlife issues you might have!

Heard animal in porch attic but could not find entry point, used ladder to get to air vent and removed it to find LARGE pile of poop. went to Angie's List and Affordable was 1st listed with a coupon so I called on the Holiday weedend and he came over next day with live capture trap. Jeff, owner, immediatly found the entry hole and showed me the raccoon's dirty footprints on the column he used to climb from the ground. He set trap and baited with a marshmellow (!), gave me his phone # to call every morning to report if we caught anything. Jeff said it was probably a male raccoon about 1 year old that had been run out of his "area" by his parents. Next morning - nothing. Jeff was more upset then me. Second morning, again no noise but when I looked out - there he was in the cage with bits of marshmellow on his whiskers! This was the most forlorn looking animal I've seen, he never made a sound or tried to escape, just sat there with sorrowful eyes - probably thinking how stupid he was going to look when his parents found out. Jim arrived and picked up the animal & cage and hauled him away to release in a area away from houses. Before he left he covered the hole with newspaper and told me to check it daily - he was sure it was the work of just 1 critter but is not the others would be back and remove the paper to get in so check daily for 4-5 days before final repair. Jeff promised to catch the problem and he did!

Jeff was informative, professional, thorough, and took his time with us. We were supposed to be in touch with him each morning to let him know if there was an animal in there. On the days we failed to do that, he always followed up with a reminder which was helpful. Though it stinks to have pay this money to get rid of unwanted critters, his prices were as the company names suggests - affordable. We definitely recommend this company.

Jeff responded immediately after we purchased an Angie's List Deal for removal of a raccoon that had decided to take up residence in our attic. He set traps the same day, and by the 3rd day, the raccoon was caught. Once caught, he took it away the same day. Jeff kept in close touch with us about checking the traps, etc. He was courteous and friendly. We would use him again in the future, should the need arise.

It went fine. He attached a plastic sleeve to each vent which allowed the birds to leave but prevented their return and allowed two days for them all to get out, which they did. Then he came back and cleaned out the vent and attached new covers which the birds can't get through.

They were great. They came when we needed them. My experience with them went real good. They knew what they were doing with raccoon removal.
