They came out when promised to give us an estimate. Stated what they needed to do and would be out after the job they were working on was done. They called when said they would and was out to do the job when they stated. It only took 1 day to fix. I am pleased with the work. The cost was the estimate amount no more.

Very impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of this company and its employees; Shannon, Roy, and James. A detailed estimate of the work and options was provided, along with numerous photos of what what was needed; i.e. "before pictures". The sales approach was very informative. Shannon took the time to explain everything and answer questions, including follow-up questions, without any pressure sales. Work was scheduled within a couple weeks of agreeing to the contract and met my schedule. Installation was much the same. Both Roy and James were very professional, courteous, thorough, and knowledgable. Work was done per contract and within the stated timeframe. Quality was excellent. Did not require any oversight by me as these individuals were focused on the work and doing it right. Everything was cleaned up when they were finished, including returning numerous items to the crawl space for storage. Best of all, there were no surprises, which reflects the thoroughness of the original estimate as well as the professionalism of this team. Final walkthrough and photos were provided, reflecting the quality work. These guys did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

I scheduled the evaluation with Matt because I knew I had mold problems and suspected the crawlspace as the root cause. Matt confirmed this and even recommended a great mold remediation contractor then worked together with that contractor for scheduling the cleanup and waterproofing tasks. Matt took time to explain my needs and was always available to answer any questions along the way.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I was having mold remediation done by another company and they suggested Crawlspace Doctor for the repair. Matt listened carefully to my expectations and budget concerns. He worked with the mold remediation company to come up with a bid that didn't duplicate any work between the two of them and, thus, fell within my budget. He was honest about when he could schedule and worked with me to schedule a time between the estate sale and the painters. His crew was professional and hardworking. They kept me apprised of the work every step of the way. The work was done right and completed on time with no headaches. How often can you say that? I would recommend this company without hesitation. *On a side note, Matt is the one that suggested Angie's List to me before he even bid on the job. Only someone who was confident that he was going to do things right for the right price would suggest a place where I could find his competition.

Everyone at Crawlspace Doctors was a pleasure to have here to help us resolve the problems that another contractor had down halfway. They had the best solution to the majority of our 7+ year problems. We have had all manner of estimates and plans for our water issues. They gave us a very fair estimate and used solid piping...Matt said if I had any questions or concerns to let him know right away. I did and he was so patient and courteous. Everything is as they said it would be. They gave me great service and I would call them again. They made me happy once again as they also can replace my window wells and covers and raise them up on the concrete wall. This will help immensely with getting the ground level to slope away from our house. Finding contractors to even replace window wells is like a foreign subject to most.. but .Matt said that it would be no problem. They have lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. Special thanks to Shannon and Darryl (hope I spelled correctly) for all they did as well. I would not hesitate to call them.

THe Crawl Space Doctor folks were very quick in responding to our call, showed up on time and provided us with an estimated and completed the work quickly on time and on budget. The work was done well, and appreciate having the transferrable warranty.

They came out and did a thorough estimate for encapsulating our crawl space. They had to start a day later than planned but gave enough heads up to adjust. They cleaned up before they left everyday and gave detailed updates. It took a little longer than was discussed but that was mostly due to the additional cleanup and new entrance work done, where they went above and beyond to match the shape to our field stone house and depth of the entrance. I crawled through after the work was complete and was amazed at the difference. When I noticed a small problem with the duct work, I called they were back out within two hours to fix it. Great workmanship and responsiveness.

I recommend him. He came out and gave us an estimate and was out within a week to do the job. He did an excellent job. We were very happy with him. He was not contracted to clean out the crawlspace but he did. He put every bit of the trash in bags and was going to take it to the landfill and pay for it out of his pocket. It's drained very well since he fixed it. He put an alarm on it so we know if it's not draining right.

They provided me the best price from the other estimates and even came in under the estimate with the final total. The crew did a fantastic job! They were practically running between the crawl space and their truck. The owner, Matt, came to check up on the crew and was always friendly. They provided a 20 year warranty that is transferrable to new owners of the home. I just feel really good about the whole job.

It went very well. Matt is knowledgeable, punctual and efficient.

Area was dirt crawl area next to a partial basement that needed cleaned up and something to contain the open ground. Area is much brighter since the insulating material was white and certainly, much cleaner. Material was applied up the sidewalls of the space which also helps insulate the area.

Matt's great to work with. His team installed a sump pump and conditioned my crawl space a couple of years ago. Yesterday my HVAC guy came to check on a drain. He thought there was water in the crawl and didn't do the work. I called Matt today and he went to check on things within 10 minutes of my initial call! Wow! Talk about responsive. Matt reported back within 30 minutes of my initial call that everything was fine in my crawl space. He suspected that the HVAC guy saw the plastic upon opening the crawl space and assumed the reflection was water. Matt also installed the additional piping on the drain to make sure the water goes where it's supposed to from now on. All at no charge. I couldn't be happier with his responsiveness.

I'm very pleased with their work. They explained the procedures and what needed to be done on a step-by-step basis so I understood what needed to be done and when. They were very efficient, very thorough, and very professional.

An inspector arrived on time for the inspection, took detailed pictures of the entire crawspace, discussed the options available, if they were to do the work. I signed the contract and was given a date for the work to be done. The workers showed up on time the given date and performed the work in the projected number of days. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves. Very pleasant to talk to, answering any questions I had on what exactly they were doing. I am well satisfied with the total job they did.

We had been having a problem with sewer gas odors. Several plumbers suggested the crawl space portion of our basement as the source of the odors. As it turned out, this was not the source. However, our crawl space did need cleaning. Crawl Space Doctor gave a reasonable estimate for the cleaning and laid down an insulating barrier to help keep out moisture, odors and unwanted critters. We now have a sizeable storage area in our crawl space, that is clean and dry. Though it turned out not to be "necessary", we're delighted to have it cleaned up and made somewhat usable as well as protected from the elements. Plus we'll get a tax deduction as a bonus.

If it has anything to do with crawlspace, basements, being wet, having mold Crawlspace Doctors has been the only company I have been able to trust and they have proven that they are worthy of that trust. My only "don't" would be, don't call anyone else.

The estimate was done on a Saturday by Shannon, who checked out the entire crawl space and then explained what was happening. He used digital pictures to show exactly what he saw, and I especially liked this feature. He provided two estimates: one for installation of a sump pump in addition to a french drain around the perimeter of the entire crawlspace, and then the other estimate was for sump pump installation with a french drain just around the 400 sq. ft. area where water was observed. He indicated that he saw no evidence of water seepage in the main part of the home in his inspection (again, with pictures to back it up), so I opted to have the work done just on the 400 sq. ft. area, which sits lower than the rest of the house. There was no pressure to have the work done around the entire crawlspace. Additionally, I was concerned about whether digging in the yard to install the drain pipe would damage the septic finger system. He indicated that in this case, the distance was short enough that they would dig by hand, and that they could take care to avoid damage to the finger system. The job was scheduled by Matt (the owner) for the following Thursday, and he indicated that Shannon and one or two other guys would be doing the work. When Thursday morning arrived, it had been raining, and water was where they needed to work. I assumed that they would postpone, and I sure didn't expect them to work in that mess, but they set up a pump to flush out the area, and by early afternoon the french drain and exterior drain pipe were installed (in digging the trench for the pipe, they never came in contact with the septic finger system). In addition, they replaced the old vapor barrier on the crawlspace floor with a new piece of plastic. The water level was still to high to dig out the pit for the sump pump, so Shannon said he'd be back the next day to finish that part of the job. The next day when he returned, the water still had not gone down enough to dig as deep as he needed to, so he prepared the electrical connection, and left the temporary pump in place to continue to lower the water level. On the following Monday, Shannon and Matt were able to complete the work, and everything is in good shape. There's been some rain since the job was finised, and the only water I've seen is what is leaving the drain pipe. From start to finish, these guys were professional, courteous, and did not fail to address any question I had. They went well beyond my expectations by carrying forward with the work in the rain, as well as by making the two return trips to complete the job. If I have any other issues with the crawlspace in this home, or with the crawlspace/basement of a future home, I'll hire Crawlspace Doctor again without hesitation.

They were excellent. Everything was perfect. The workers were very good. Everything is holding up fine. I would definitely use them again.

They recommend a dehumidifier to fix the issue. If you have a small leak, they are on the expensive side of things. They are for more heavy duty problems. They are very high end. They did not end up doing any work for me. They were professional and knowledgeable.

CrawlSpaceDoctor came quickly to see if my sump pump was working since my husband and I hadn't heard it after several days of constant rain. The sump pump is old and were were concerned it might need replacing. CrawlSpaceDoctor tested it and told me it was working fine. I was thankful for their honesty, polite manner and the additional suggestions they gave me for maintaining the health of the crawl space (including closing my vents in the winter).

It went fantastic. Matt Deiters and crew came out and performed the work over a few days. When we had an issue with the work, Matt came right away and fixed what had been missed. I would recommend this company to anybody looked for excellent crawl space work.

I had given this company a negative rating because I never got an estimate/proposal from them. Matt called me when he learned of my negative review. He explained that the tech who came to my house had had a family emergency and simply forgot to do the estimate. His apology was sincere and he hoped that I would accept it; I did. I truly appreciated his call.

They came out and inspected the crawl space to provide an estimate for repairs to an area of the foundation wall that has been structurally compromised. He was quick in getting over to the location and efficient and detailed in his over the phone estimate. He observed some issues that were missed on my home inspection report. Even though he knew I didn't own the home and could possibly not hire him because of that, he was still very willing to take time out of his day to go and look anyway. Very friendly, responsive, easy to talk to. We are not sure if we are buying the house but if we do or ever need foundation/crawlspace services. I would not hesitate to call the Doctor again! :)
