Description of Work: He installed a new bathroom vanity. He replaced it with granite and built it up so it was taller. He also installed ceiling fans and lights. He has also replaced my water heater. He's reasonable, honest, and does exceptional work. He's not the most prompt, but his work is great.

+ 1 moreMr. Cravens remodeled some of the area in my basement into an apartment. He provided me with a brief estimate for the work. The price seemed to be satisfactory. He came back twice during the process with revisions/additions. None of the documents had items usually included in an estimate for that type of work. It wasn't on a formal estimate form. He provided no contract. It was assumed that the materials were included. I had to pay for the materials separately. I asked him repeatedly for a reconciliation of the money spent vs. work done. He never did that. I had to have additional work done, such as professional waterproofing because of his errors. At the very least he owes me $23,000. At the most, $45,000. I am left with an apartment without an outside entrance, and without a new septic system, among other things. I never would have had the work done if I had thought he wouldn't do it for the amount he estimated. He is unlicensed, uninsured, and didn't get a permit.
Description of Work: Converted basement rec room into a small apartment. It involved plumbing and electrical work, along with installing dry wall, ceiling, floor, kitchen cabinets, and bath fixtures.
