Overall, it went very well. There were a few glitches along the way, but all were resolved very professionally. The project took a little longer than we planned, but the results were well worth it. We have an old house. The rooms included in the project have all the amenities of new construction, but look like they are original to our 80 year old home. We are very happy with the work! They were a little more expensive than some other remodelers, but the quality of the work they did more than makes up for it.

I called Connor to tell them what happened the supervisor was very mad and said the gentleman had called in sick and he was going to call him at home and make him come in to fix this. I was infuriated that he would treat an employee this way and told him not to send him, but to send someone else because I had been very ill and didn't want to be around someone who was sick. The 2nd service person installed the wrong kind of pipe that had no flexibility so not all the water would drain from the dishwasher, therefore it left really nasty water in the base of the machine. I have been working with Cullegan for over 3 weeks to get this company back out here to replace a simple hose. Wish I knew how to do myself because I could have saved myself weeks of aggravation. Today, we told the Cullegan people we would be contacting the BBB on both of them if something was not done today. We had to go through the Holidays without a dishwasher, and on top of that I was running back and forth to the hospital to take care of my Mother. This was and is the last type of problem I have needed during this time.

Everything with the estimate went fine. They were on time, and friendly.

They do a great job, but they are expensive. He is very honest I trust him to be in my home while I'm away. He worked hard no matter what the job was. Its messy work but he cleans up very well.

My lights weren't working and we had Connor and Co out for our roof at the time, so they checked them over and fixed the wiring to make them work better. They're working fine now.

Our roof overhang had some buckling and they replaced the bed board. I have used them before and their work is always great.

They were very good! Very careful and neat!

I have used Connor and Company three times to date. Each time I have had great service from them. They are always on time, courtious and great to talk to. Thier work has been thorough, accurate and reasonably priced. All work has been completed accurately and completely.

After a mixup and delay in having someone come out for an estimate, the company representative did a thorough inspection, found a legitimate problem I hadn't noticed, and the estimate arrived in the mail a few days later. The carpenter arrived to begin work just two days after I mailed the contract back with one-third down. It wasn't a huge project and the work was completed in less than 2 days.

Whenever I have called them, he does not call back. If my husband calls, he calls right back. A man came out and had to sand and fix the hinge. He did a real nice job and was a nice guy.

The estimator responded quickly to my call and arrived at the scheduled time. He inspected the area thoroughly and took photos. This is a larger remodeling company with a handyman division. The estimator was clearly not the person who would be doing the work. I received a full written estimate in the mail several days later that outlined every detail of the job and the per hour charge for completing it. The company seems very professional. Friends who used them for a large remodeling job were happy, but I'm uncertain whether a large company is the best choice for this small job. Perhaps too much overhead.

They are excellent. They take time to work with me as the home owner, explain the project. They are not salesmen.

It was a little difficult getting things started, as the estimator did not make an appointment, came when we were not home and therefore didn't understand the scope quite right. But he revised the esitmate promptly and the quality of the work was very good. I don't know if the typical odd-job handyman tasks would be worth the effort, however.

They did nice work. They were very attentive, punctual, and professional. They've been the best overall contractors we've had. They do what they say they will do. They also helped us with some hail damage.

Bill Connor called to say he would provide an estimate but never came. Called a week later and he indicated he would come out the same day. He never showed.

They were prompt, punctual, and fixed all the things my husband refuses to do, and correctly. They're a little bit pricey, but their work is guaranteed.

Their plaster repair is beyond terrible. I made the mistake of allowing myself to be billed hourly, and even after a 1K discount, the price was 4 times the estimate for the same work from someone else. Holes were patched, though edges are still visible as "repairs". Ceiling is still bowed. Did not remove switch plate covers, just plastered right over the edges. When they returned to fix the bad job, they possibly made the ceiling slightly worse (one of my can lights is angled due to one side being more plastered than the other), and the ragged holes around the plates are still there. They didn't finish painting the ceiling, even though I was charged for it. Moving my sofa a few days later I found they left huge hand-sized gobs of plaster stuck to my hardwoods! Apparently they didn't think I'd ever move the furniture and discover their disregard for my home. Why am I paying at all? I have to hire someone else to fix their mess and possibly have to refinish the floor of one room.

I WAS HAPPY WITH THE WORK. IT WAS EXPENSIVE, BUT IT WAS VIRTUALLY PERFECT. I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR IT TO BE ANY BETTER.

HANDYMEN FROM CONNOR and COMPANY ARE ALWAYS PUNCTUAL, CLEAN, WELL SPOKEN AND EFFICIENT. THEY SUBCONTRACTED WITH MY PAINTING CONTRACTOR (WM. JONES) AND COMPLETED SIGNIFICANT CARPENTRY REPAIR WORK AROUND THE PAINTERS SCHEDULE SO WE DIDN'T EXPERIENCE DELAYS. ALTHOUGH THEIR HANDYMAN BUSINESS COSTS MORE PER HOUR THAT OTHER COMPANIES, I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I'VE NEVER HAD A NEGATIVE, OR EVEN MARGINAL EXPERIENCE WITH CONNOR and COMPANY.

VERY TIMELY IN COMPLETING WORK. I'M STILL NOT SURE HOW THEY ACCOMPLISHED THIS TASK BEING IT WAS IN A VERY DIFFICULT AREA. HAD SEVERAL COMPANIES COME LOOK AT THE JOB, BUT DIDN'T HAVE A GOOD SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. THE LUMBER USED MATCHED THE STYLE OF THE HOUSE. I WAS IMPRESSED!

BOTH CREWS WERE TIMELY, THOUGH THE JOB TOOK LONGER THAN I EXPECTED. THOUGH THEY TRIED TO BLOCK THE DUST, BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF THE WORK BEING DONE, DUST SPREAD EVERYWHERE IN THE HOUSE.

ESTIMATES PROVIDED WERE VERY HIGH (FOR THOSE ITEMS I'VE HAD DONE IN THE TIME SINCE, THE ACTUAL COSTS HAVE AVERAGED LESS THAN HALF AS MUCH), AND INCOMPLETE (THE LISTING OBVIOUSLY RAN ONTO ANOTHER PAGE, BUT I DIDN'T RECEIVE IT). HE STRUCK ME AS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE, BUT I HAD THE IMPRESSION HE WANTED TO CONCENTRATE ON BIGGER OR MORE HISTORICALLY INTERESTING PROJECTS.

WORK WAS DONE IN ONE DAY. PATCHES BLEND WELL WITH ORIGINAL WALL SURFACE.

THEY ARE NICE PEOPLE, WHO DO GOOD WORK. THEY HAVE QUALITY PEOPLE WHO DO GOOD WORK. THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY. DESPITE THEIR STEEP SERVICE RATES I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

BOBBIE, THE MASTER CARPENTER, WAS OUTSTANDING. THOUGH METHODICAL, HE REALLY KNEW HIS JOB, DID IT WELL, HAD SOLUTIONS FOR A VARIETY OF DOOR REPAIRS AND IMPLEMENTED THOSE SOLUTIONS IN AN EXCELLENT MANNER, WHILE BEING VERY CONGENIAL, COURTEOUS AND GOOD TO WORK WITH.
