Bruce arrived about an hour after I called him. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired my computer. Very thorough, very courteous and very professional. He also made several security enhancements to my computer. I'll call him if I need any computer work in the future.

Bruce installed our pc last summer, and it's actually been working just fine since. A couple times, however, there were minor problems with messages popping up that I couldn't initially figure out myself, and I emailed Bruce, suggesting we schedule a time for him to come out. In both instances (the latest yesterday, Sunday, no less, and he answered the same day) he said, essentially, "Naw, not serious enough to have me out, do this . . ." and of course he was right! The honesty and help are much appreciated, and eventually something serious enough will go wrong he will have to make a trip out!

He called to keep me informed of his arrival time. I appreciated that. There were a couple of times I felt like he was a little too impatient with what I was trying to tell him while he was checking out the printer problem. However, by the time he was finished my printer was working just fine...which is what I had called about. He was very prompt and efficient with his time while here. He petted my dogs and shook my hand when he left.

He has done several things for me in the past including building a computer for me. He will come to your home if you need him to and he is very prompt. He has a great sense of humor and is tolerant of children and animals.

Even though it was after his usual work hours, Mr. Stokes was kind and generous enough with his time and expertise to aid me in re-establishing an Internet connection after a major malfunction in order to complete important banking. I highly recommend this most knowledgeable professional.

Work was scheduled and completed in a timely fashion. Bruce was helpful in answering a number of questions I had about hardware and software. He arrived a bit early but was considerate enough to call to see if I was ready for him before coming to the door - really helpful.

He was prompt and got everything done. He is wonderful and I can't say enough about him.

With me by his side, he asked my preferences and efficiently did what I needed him to do. He gave me suggestions on protection programs and installed them while he was here. He transferred files from my old computer and literally "got me up and running." There were a couple of things that came up after he left and he graciously answered my questions in an email that I sent him at no charge. Knows what he is doing or knows where to find it out. Neighbors liked him as well.

Bruce came to home and started in right away to solve the problem, answered questions and fixed problem in an hour. Also gives Angie's list members a discount.

Contacted Bruce Stokes of Computer Housecalls, Inc. He came to the house, looked at problem and took both laptop and PC for work. He was able to get info off of the laptop prior to the demise of the hard drive. Work was completed in timely fashion and Mr. Stokes was in contact with this writer during all stages of the process. He was very helpful and provided much helpful insight into the technology. Should I need this type of service in the future, I will not hesitate to call him again.

Bruce came out the same day we called and completed everything we wanted done in a timely and professional manner.

Mr. Stoke was at our home for over 2 1/2 hours, but only charged us for 2 hours, and then gave us Angie's List discount. Also, he made a follow up visit to complete the wireless installation, and did not charge us for this visit. We were very pleased with his work. He arrived both times on time or a bit early, was polite and patient.

Received next day service. Reviewed both pc's. Bruce was on time and went right to work. Answered all questions as well as tips on handling additional tasks after he left. This company was contacted by me on a referral from another Angie's member. Very satisfied with results of visit and will use again as needed.

Bruce was very professional and personable. I did not have to wait a long period of time for my appointment, and he was on time. He diagnosed the rare problem that I had (defective new equipment) and quickly solved the problem. His prices are very reasonable, and I would recommend him to anyone.

BRUCE WAS ABLE TO GET TO MY HOUSE WITHIN 3 HOURS OF MY PHONE CALL. HIS RATES WERE MUCH MORE REASONABLE THAT THE OTHER 4 PLACES I CALLED. HE WAS ON TIME, POLITE, FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM & CORRECTED IT WITHIN AN HOUR, ADDED SOME ADD'L ANTI VIRUS, FIREWALLS, ETC. SOFTWARE AT NO CHARGE, SHOWED ME HOW TO DEFRAG & CLEAN THE PROGRAMS, ETC. AND CLEANED UP A LOT OF JUNK THAT WAS HANGING AROUND IN MY COMPUTER. I WOULD GIVE HIM AN A+ RECOMMENDATION AND IF NEEDED, HE'LL BE THE FIRST ONE I CALL IF I HAVE A COMPUTER PROBLEM AGAIN.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH BRUCE WAS OUTSTANDING. HIS VOICE MAIL MESSAGE WAS VERY CLEAR ABOUT COST, ETC. HE RETURNED MY CALL VERY QUICKLY. HE ARRANGED AN APPOINTMENT WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. HE CALLED BEFORE COMING. HE CAME ON TIME. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND WAS CLEAR ABOUT WHAT IT WAS -- THE MOTHERBOARD WAS NO LONGER OF USE. THE PC HAD CRASHED AFTER THE PREVIOUS REPAIRPERSON LEFT MY HOUSE. BASED ON MY LIMITED USE OF A PC, HE MADE RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT THE TYPE OF TOWER TO PURCHASE. I LEFT A MESSAGE ON SUNDAY TO LET HIM KNOW I HAD PURCHASED THE TOWER AND HE CALLED BACK AND WAS HERE ON MONDAY A.M. TO INSTALL. I CAN'T PRAISE BRUCE ENOUGH...MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH PC REPAIR PEOPLE [NON-ANGIE'S LIST] WAS I COULDN'T FOLLOW WHAT THEY WERE SAYING...TOO TECHNICAL...AND TALKED TOO MUCH...AND HAD LIMITED KNOWLEDGE.
