I got three estimates and Complete's came in between the other two at $2300 but Rob Engledow lowered the price to $1900 to beat the lowest bid. Crew came a day later than scheduled because of rain that week and took about 6 hours total to take them down, grind them down below ground level, chip everything and clean up. They used a bucket truck and were very careful with each limb to avoid my fence, pool, deck and porch. The crew is a little rough around the edges but very professional, safe and efficient. Rob got the utilities marked ahead of time and encouraged me to discuss access to the trees for their machinery. Overall, very happy and have used them again already to remove some bushes. Would use them again for any tree removal, trimming, etc.

I got three estimates and each individual wanted to do the job differently. For someone who knows little about trimming trees this makes choosing someone for the job very difficult. The individual who performed the estimate for this company seemed the most knowledgable. I was pleased with the work.

I could not be more happy with the service that we received from Complete Tree Care. They are experts in the industry and are very cautious in regards to only removing when absolutely necessary. They were courteous, professional and polite. They cleaned up after their job and aside from the mulch piles, you would not even know there were there.

I received a estimate for the removal of three decorative plum bushes at the side of our house and a weeping crabapple tree in our backyard that was fair and acceptable. About three weeks later, the work was done by a very efficient crew that was careful with their heavier equipment up near the house and yard and did a very thorough removal of plant waste. Very satisfied with all phases of the work they did for us.

When I first came home on the day they said they would be there, I thought they hadn't come because I didn't see "one speck" of saw dust. Then I looked up and saw the work had been done. They came when they said they would, and did a great job. Also the price was very competitive with other estimates. I did notice one limb of "deadwood" they missed, and within 3 days, they came out and took care of that. Was a very good experience, and would definitely use them again.

The entire experience with Complete Tree Care was outstanding. Great customer service, tree gone from my roof less than 24 hours after calling, and absolutely no mess in the yard. I am thrilled!

The crew arrived on time introduced themselves surveyed the scene and began work, The crew appeared to be careful in bringing the large equipment onto my yard laying down plywood all along the routes of entry. I think they did a very good job overall. My only complaints (if any) would be that they dropped a couple of limbs in my neighbors yard that they missed during clean up and they did leave a couple of large holes in my yard when dropping cut tree trunks that I thought could have been avoided. All in all though I was very satisfied with the job they did and would use them again.

They were here at the appointed time. They were very efficient. They cleaned thoroughly and raked the yard. They were very careful to not damage anything. I have been using them for 10 years and have complete faith in them. They were in and out in about 2 hours. They quoted me 700 dollars to do the 2 trees. After I called them today to pay, they asked that I just send in a check due to some issues with the credit card system. I then told them that my next call was to Angie's List yet to give my review. They called back about 2 minutes later to let me know that I haven't yet received an Angie's List discount of 10%. He didn't even know that I was a member when they did the work and they saved me $70.00. They treat me fairly and are very ethical. From the estimate to completed work, they left my neighbors tree looking better than it has ever looked.

Rob came out to discuss my tree issues and give me an estimate. We talked about what needed to be done and the best approach to each of the trees I was concerned about. Even though he recommended removal of one of the trees, he agreed to work with me to try and save it for as long as possible and told me what needed to be done for that. He was very easy to work with and I felt like he really listened to me. On the designated date, they came out, and he came along at my request so I could walk the trees with them and hear him instruct them on what needed to be done. They did a great job and cleaned up everything to my satisfaction. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others!!

Everything went great. What I like most about this company is they schedule appointments for quotes and they keep you updated on when they will be there. That is rare in the "tree maintenance" industry.

I called last fall for an appointment to get our ash tree checked. The arborist came out in a timely fashion and left informtion indicating there was no evidence of the ash borer. He recommened that we wait until spring to do a treatment. I called in June and staff came out to discuss treatments. He recommended one treatment this year and a newer treatment in 2013 that is showing promising results in saving ash trees. The representative was knowledgeable and responsive. The newer treatment is expensive but will be worth it if it saves the ash tree. Several ash trees in the area are dying due to the ash borer.

They were responsive and the price seemed good, but ended up costing more than I thought.I asked that I be called ahead of time before the appraiser showed up and I had my cell phone on all that day. No call, only quote left. I should have not gone on without having a face-to-face with the appraiser.I had decided to go ahead and remove the tree as another service showed that the upper part of the trunk was hollow and one large limb which could eventually fall would come across my house and through the roof.They lowered smaller pieces with ropes, but dropped many larger ones leaving many gouges in my yard!Their quote says if they grind up the stump a mound of wood chips would be left. How about 4 foot high and 8 feet in diameter!! I'm sure this would have been much more described if the appraiser would have met with me. So I had to spend another $200 to have the chips removed and they didn't even remove all of them as there is still about 5 inches deep and eight foot diameter circle of chips I still have to remove!

The whole experience was good. They were on time and completed the work in one day leaving both the front and back yard clean. The trees were trimmed without too much being taken off. A spruce tree with dead lower branches was also cleaned up with the lower branches being removed neatly. Thank you

Crew arrived in 8 days, at the set time. Work was done in professional manner. Care was given, not only to my property but also the neighbors property. All wood and debris was removed and the area cleaned up, which looked better than when they arrived. About 90 minutes, start to finish, on the hottest day, so far, this year. Great job, great workers, great firm.

They've always done a good job and they always clean up their mess. I really appreciate that.

I have used this company since at least 1999 for work removing or trimming numerous trees and it has always gone smoothly with this company. There may be companies as good as, but none better than Complete Tree Care in their profession. They are prompt, professional, competitive, reliable, clean up the yard after the work, and work to make you satisfied with the job.

They did an excellent job. The owner came out to examine the trees, and was very up front with us about existing damage. He gave us an estimate for trimming the trees, and for removing them later, which we will likely have to do. He also advised us the best time of year to take down the trees. The crew came out promptly, did an excellent job pruning all the deadwood and the excess limbs off the trees. They cleaned everything up, down to sweeping the driveway. They were even kind enough to move their equipment when I had to leave before they finished. They did an excellent job and we will definitely be using them again.

It couldn't have gone better. I made myself take the time to do this report because they deserve it. I can't say one bad thing about this experience.

Large branch broke off of our flowering pear tree and needed to be removed. Damage was enough that whole tree needed to be removed per 2 estimates received. Estimate given in good time by Complete Tree, but we were told there would be a delay in removal because it required use of a bucket truck. One week later the removal crew arrived and quickly took down the tree - did not use the bucket truck at all. Excellent clean up by this crew. We were told a second crew was required for stump removal. Three days later the stump was ground down, but a large root remained above ground level and a heap of chips was left on the lawn. We had to chop out the remaining root and remove 5 bags of chips in order to plant grass at the site. Would use Ping for future tree care.

The top of a tall maple tree come crashing down onto my children's playset during a windstorm. I call first thing the next moning, and within 2 hours the owner was at my house to give me an estimate. His price was very fair and I scheduled the work for the next week. The crew was very polite and completely cleaned up the messes. My trees look great. i am very happy with the work they did.

They were punctual and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations (and my expectations are high). Rob Engledow was very professional and prompt in the estimate and they used lateral trim pruning which was recommended by an arborist friend. I can't say enough good things. Their cleanup was great and they used 3/4 inch plywood so thee were no ruts in my yard from the truck. They were also very careful not to damage my neighbor's trees which were very close.
