THEY ADVERTISE THEMSELVES AS A QUALITY BUILDER. THEIR MODELS ARE GREAT. WHEN YOU ACTUALLY GET THE HOME, THEIR SUB-CONTRACTORS DON'T APPEAR TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I WAS TOLD BY THE SALES PERSON THAT ALL OF THE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS WERE CDI EMPLOYEES, BUT THEY ACTUALLY SUB-CONTRACT THE WORK. THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS, WHERE THEY DO HAVE GOOD WORKERS THAT TRY TO MAKE UP FOR THE OTHER PROBLEMS, BUT THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH THEY CAN DO. THE CARPET WAS LAID POORLY, THEY PUT ABOUT 5 LAYERS OF PAINT ON AND THERE IS DIRT STUCK TO THE WALLS, THE GARAGE DOOR SQUEAKED AND CREAKED, ETC. THEY DO HAVE A PUNCH LIST AND SAY THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF ISSUES AND THEY HAVE TAKEN CARE OF SOME. THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE CABINETS FROM THE INSTALLATION. SOME OF THE ISSUES MAY HAVE BEEN FROM THE MANUFACTURER, BUT SOME OF IT WAS DONE IN THE INSTALLATION AND THE FINISHING. THEY HAD A BUILDER'S AWARD, BUT I AM DISSATISFIED WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT.
Description of Work: NEW HOME BUILT (THEY SPECIALIZE IN LOW MAINTENANCE HOMES.)
