Description of Work: They gave a good checkup to look for damage around the chimney. But they were late. Also, they tried a massive up-sell on us for several issues. It gives me the opinion this awesome priced Angie's List promo was only to get their foot in the door to sell a lot more services. I had to email them several times to get an estimate to replace siding. It took at least four request for the estimate, which never came correctly.

Description of Work: They inspected the roof and made an estimate, which they revised when I pointed out that the roof was only about 7 years old. I will use them for the repairs when I am ready.

Description of Work: He came out and checked the window. Unfortunately, it was damaged beyond repair and required replacement. We chose to deal with Pella windows directly since they had replaced other windows on our house. Thus, we did not use this providers services.

Description of Work: They checked my gutters for leaks and the wood under them for rotting. |Gave me good info but told me for them to fix it even with the reduced price offered with the Angie's List ad, that I would spend less using someone else. |While his info was good and helpful, I felt a bit taken advantage of when their offer of $100 discount to fix my problem wasn't going to he helpful. Their offer of a discount then felt like a manipulation.

Description of Work: I asked if they installed electric roof ventilations systems, and they said no. Now to me, that was very good. They were honest and did not try and sell me something.. I would recommend them. They were very nice on phone.

Description of Work: I purchased a $49 roof 'tune-up' through Angie's List and was contacted by someone from the company to schedule the service. I scheduled the service for April 2 and the technician didn't show: I called to find out what happened and learned that the person who scheduled the appointment and was supposed to do the work no longer worked for the company. Called the company and re-scheduled: they didn't seem to be aware of my original appointment. The technician showed, graciously offered to refund the $49: I refused. My roof was inspected and 'tuned up,' and the technician offered to follow-up in a week, meet with my insurance company and provide an estimate for replacing my roof, which, I agree, is needed. I haven't heard from the company since. Technically, I got what I paid for, i.e. the roof tune-up, but they didn't seem to be aware of my original appointment, or that it wasn't kept, and frankly after having agreed that I need to replace my roof, I thought they would have been anxious to follow-up and try to acquire the contract.

Description of Work: We had some boards that were lose and looked to be molding as well as discoloration in our paint on the trim and garage doors on the front of the house. They determined it was a bad batch of paint from the original painting. We made a deposit to have the work completed, they emailed and called the next day to let us know that they had an opening that day. When we returned home from work, the boards were the placed and the trim and garage doors were painted. It was fantastic! They are grea to do business with!

Description of Work: I took advantage of Angie's List offer of a discounted roof inspection with Cochran Exteriors. I was very impressed with the inspection, and the service rep found some issues and proceeded to correct them. I have since contacted Cochran Exteriors for a quote on constructing a permanent roof over an existing deck. If the price is within budget, I'll have them do the job. I'll post further info later.

Description of Work: Use a Angie's $49 Deal to have Cochran look at roof in area of leak in upstairs ceiling. He stated the roof and attic all looked well but he figured the leak could be coming down the chimney due to it not being to code since the house was built in 1994. I asked for estimate to complete the work and have not heard anything. I have contacted him once and will be calling soon. As part of deal, there is a $100 credit towards any repair so I'm thinking the repair is small and Cochran isn't interested in small repair. He was courteous and on-time but have had no communication since the initial visit. If I get no response upon calling - I will not plan to use them in the future.

Description of Work: We took advantage of Cochran's Angie's List coupon. He gave an very good evaluation of our roof, repaired a leak and came back during the insurance inspection. Enjoyable to work with them.

Description of Work: He inspected my roof and relieved concerns I had about a couple of 'funny-looking' places. I did not need any repairs. And, while he was up there, he offered to sweep the maple tree seed 'helicopters' from off the tops of my gutter covers. I took him up on this offer. He was very nice.
