Description of Work: I called Cochran Exteriors to inspect my roof and to replace a seal/boot over one of my exhaust pipes that was too high on the roof for me to get to. Cochran inspected my roof, and the seal - he told me that the seal was in great shape and didn't need to be replaced. He also identified several shingles that were loose and should have minor repairs made to them. But unfortunately, didn't have all the supplies needed to make the small repairs. However, Cochran returned a couple days later to make the small repairs to the roof - and didn't charge anything for it. Very responsive, communicated well, and seemed to do good work. I would recommend Cochran.

Description of Work: Cochran provided roof check (we had a small leak that we knew about when we bought the service) and found an exposed nail that was the only issue that could have caused our problem. Cochran rep. put some tar over the nail to seal it and took pictures of the roof. He also stated that roof was in better condition than he would have thought of for a roof as old as ours (8 years), which is nice to hear from a contractor. | |Extremely happy with service provided, if would have cost multiple times the cost of roof check to have a roofer come out and find and fix leak.

Description of Work: The man came and looked at one spot. I don't think he even looked all around the house. He said the purpose of the deal was to get out here and if there was something major, then they would do something. I told him of a leak and he said he has a side company that can take care of that for cheaper since Cochran will charge much more for it. That was it. I felt cheated. He could at least caulk it up or something. I thought that was part of the deal?

I just wanted him to look at the roof, take the measurements and then give me a quote, before we purchased the Angie’s List deal from them. He was dressed professionally though, I was just disappointed that I wasn't able to receive a quote.

Thank you for your review. In response to your statement, it is standard procedure to personally inspect all properties prior to creating an estimate. We use a program called EagleView, which is a satellite imagery program that measures each roof with 99.9% accuracy, eliminating having one person trying to measure the entire roof by tape measure. This is a preventative safety policy. I'm sorry if it was not explained to you in detail that each estimate will take 24-48 hours to complete, due to Eagleview time table. Description of Work: Mark came by my home on a Monday afternoon. He went on the roof took lots of pictures then explain to me what needed to be done. I had told Mark before he came that I also had a rental that needed a new roof. Mark explained that he was unable to look at the rental that day but said he would go over and look at the rental the next day. Mark also told me he would call me the next day after he looked at the rental and that he would email me pictures and the report on my roof. I did yard work for 9 hours at my rental and Mark never showed up. Today is Wednesday I have not heard anything from Mark nor have I received any email. In my opinion this is not a good way to start a business deal so I will not be hiring Cochran exteriors to do any work for me.
