I saw the reviews on Angieslist and thier office hounded me till I finially called them back to schdule an appt for a quote. They never called or showed nor have I heard from them. This is no way to conduct buisness. My time is just as valuable as theirs. I will not use them in the future.

I highly recommend this company. The process of getting a new roof and gutters was very easy and stress free. Dave Wells explained everything really well and was great to communicate with. Our roof and gutters look amazing. Thank you so much Cochran Exteriors!!!

Our new roof from Cochran Exteriors looks great. Nathan Bussberg, the representative we dealt with from Cochran, was fantastic. He promptly and thoroughly answered all of our questions regardless of whether the question was sent during business hours. He also did a great job working with our insurance company and meeting with our adjuster to secure us the maximum possible coverage. Nathan also reviewed the work of the roofing crew to make sure everything was installed correctly and followed up with us a few days later to make sure we were satisfied. Once we had picked out the shingles for our new roof it took about 2 weeks for the roofing crew to come out and install the new roof. The roofing crew took from 645am to about 8pm to install our roof. They were determined to get it done in one day. All in all, Cochran provided great customer service and we were pleased that it only took one day to get the new roof installed.

End result was great. Scheduling was helter skelter. Workmen were here abnormally late one evening . Not necessarily a bad thing. Ran out of siding. Waited for over a month for remainder of siding to arrive. Job finished. Workers did well and worked hard.

Nathan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The men who performed the work did an excellent job and were professional.

It went well, very satisfied with his knowledge and will be hiring Jared to do my roofing job.

Ok but when I told him I had a leak in the roof he couldn’t find it. I understand that but he told me he would have a more experience tech come out to look at it. Never heard from this company again

Originally contacted this company in September 2017 to replace my wood siding with similar siding and to replace my gutters. Both to be done before winter 2017 so painters could paint new bare wood replacement siding. Many delays including obtaining estimate, materials and construction date ended with project being delayed to Spring 2018. When work done in Spring work was done quickly in only one day by original work crew with obvious quality control issues. In addition, the siding used was defective and had to be removed and replaced. Cochran Quality Control managers became involved to resolve issues. Communications were chaotic throughout the process. Also, a new sales manager took over in the middle of the project making it even more chaotic. Work of replacement finally completed over several days by a subcontractor hired by Cochran to redo the siding with replacement wood that was not defective. New subcontractor completed the work originally done on one day in one week working daily. I gave "C's" instead of "F's" because Cochran did make it right and did not charge me for what must have been a $$ loss for them. I advised them their interior processes need review and their customer communications have great room for improvement. Gutters were done in the fall 2017 without incident. No problems with gutters.

Overall it went well, but there were times of miscommunications. One, we get a call from an office person asking if they could have the carpenters come out that afternoon for some board replacement. She tells me she texted me yesterday with that info. I tell her I never received text & that we need to leave for a medical test that afternoon. She proceeds to tell me with a half hearted apology & a laugh, "Oh I guess I texted your landline." Can't read the paperwork, I guess? Bottom line, she assures me we don't have to be here. However, they needed to access the garage for a power source when they got here plus the boards ended up to be the wrong length So they had to stop and get more board. (Rather than one continuous board like we had, we now have two pieced together boards) So, we have to leave with the garage door open, as if that day wasn't already stressful enough. Then there was another board that needed replacement after roof & gutters were done. And there was another big miscommunication on that as well. Mike, the supervisor, always took the time to answer my questions; he would give me website addresses or pictures of houses with the roof color I was thinking of etc. He would always respond to my voicemails or texts. The times things got screwed up with communication was when the office personnel got involved or the carpenters got involved. If you can keep your communications directly with Mike, everything is fine. The final product is beautiful! I give Mike an A but the office people & carpenters a C. The cost of this was $15,644.00. ( The following field won't let me input cost.) The roof & gutter replacement people were on time, professional & did a beautiful job & great cleanup.

Everything went very smoothly and in a professional manner. Clean up was fine and work was done when they said it would be. Worked with the insurance company and it looks great.

Asked for window replacement of entire house, they prepared a quote for the full house, and delivered all windows except the one that was rotting, and needed replacement immediately. The company said that I was told that window could not be replaced, but I was never told the one window I needed done, they could not do. They delivered glass for the existing frame, and I told them that I ordered a window, and not glass. Needless to say, I was and am frustrated beyond belief. I have been in conversations with them for more than a year about replacing the window, and in January of this year, they finally came out and put in a window that doesn't match, and didn't fit. The window was installed in such a way that the exterior trim will need to be recaulked annually. In between the installation of the window, and the trim work in April and May, the caulk has already failed, and they need to recaulk the joints. They fixed the outside, and had to send an inside trim person out that finished the inside trim work. I am completely unsatisfied, and was lied to multiple times through out the process of 16 months to finish installing replacement window.

The entire team at Cochran did an amazing job. Starting with Todd, our construction specialist, was always 15 minutes early to each appointment. He also explained the importance on the Owens Corning roofing system and the different types/quality of shingles that are available. The crew installed Duration shingles, a synthetic underlayment, a sturdy ridge vent and drip guards. Prior to the start we received a call from their customer service department to verify the times and the delivery of the materials and disposal trailer. The roofing crew showed up on time, cleaned up their mess and installed 36 squares in less than a day. All of the old roofing was removed the same day. During the installation Cochran sent over a quality assurance person to inspect the work and walk the roof. This is the third roof I had Cockrum install.On one of our rental properties I found out that one of the beams was splintered by a nail gun from the roof installation three years ago. Cochran came out the same day and repaired the beam at no charge. It’s not really about how the roof looks when it’s installed, it’s about a company that supports their craftsmanship years in the future.

I did not end up having work done by Cochran Exteriors but my experience was A+. James was great to work with during the estimate process as my siding project had a few layers. We spend a sum of money for the upkeep and repairs to our homes and you never know what you're walking into with a contractor but my initial experience with Cochran Exteriors was great, James followed through on what he said and that was refreshing. We needed a new roof (hail damage) and Dave Wells (Cochran Exteriors) worked with us and our insurance company to make the project smooth and quick. Dave was timely, professional and helped us through the process. The crew was amazing. Our roof was completed in just one day and they did a wonderful job of protecting my young plants and cleaning up everything. Our neighbors commented on how great a job Cochran did. I am pleased to say I have recommended Dave Wells and Cochran to others and they love them too.

Ralph Theilking, Construction Specialist, arrived on time as scheduled. Ralph looked at my crawl space insulation and listened to my questions. He then recommended some options and provided me with websites to assist me should I decide to change the insulation. Ralph stated that my current insulation was proper and that he would not recommend changing it. He gave me an honest opinion which did not include his services. He did not charge me for his visit as he did not see a need. I call that an honest salesperson. I would definitely call Cochran again -- and ask for Ralph!

We called for a roof inspection. Ken came out and did an inspection. I was expecting them to tell me that the roof needed to be replaced. They came down and showed me photos of the roof and explained that the roof was in good shape. It’s always nice to meet an honest contractor. I would recommend them for anything you may need on the exteriors of your home.

I had wind damage that actually pulled off the siding on the front of my house. It’s old to begin with and a couple of the pieces were protruding before the wind storm. I got quotes from three contractors and decided to go with Cochran. They were definitely challenged by trying to match the discontinued siding, especially when it was the faded part they had to match. They did a great job matching it and with the installation as well. It looks fantastic and I’m very pleased. Everything was pretty much on time as promised and they cleaned up their mess afterwards.

The job went extremely well...they actually came a day early, as a job finished up quicker than expected... they were fast and efficient... the supervisor showed me, and explained the difference, in what was up there, vs what was going up there now, since it was winter when they replaced the high peak, and we never saw it... Let me also state, that it was Cochran that put our new roof on, about 2 years prior, and the whole process with that, also went very well... and we love the roof, and have not had any issues with it!!! I did not have any issue w/the new product/ridge vent, or the installation....... So, my opinion is that Cochran is a good company, and trustworthy... My only concern, was there was already a failure on the main/largest one of the three (which did damage to the inside of the house), and I truly feel, that at that point, all three should have been replaced... even though it wasn't Cochran's fault, that the Owens Corning design itself, failed... But, I would most definitely use Cochran again!!!
