The project was excellent from start to finish. The communication on the project was very good and I always knew what was being done and when. I even asked them to install a laundry sink and a light in another area of my house that was not originally part of the plan and they added it on with now problems at very reasonable price.

CMH Builders was great! I loved having a designer to help with the details. The staff was polite and professional. Especially our project manager, Jared, who provided excellent communication and service throughout the project. The project was finished on time and we weren’t hit with any extra charges at the end. We’re very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend them.

We hired CMH to finish a previously unfinished basement and we could not be happier with the work completed and our experience with the company! From start to finish, the experience was great. They started by taking laser measurements of the space, inputting them in to a computer, and then sitting down with us in their design center to design our basement on the computer. It was amazing to be able to see the finished product before putting money down and starting the work! Once work started, our experience with the PM and other staff was top-notch -- really a joy to work with. The company's owner and everyone was was focussed on the quality of work and it showed! We could not have been happier with the end product. Love the new space (and really wish they would have built the rest of the house). Definitely recommend CMH!

This project could not have gone any better. My wife and I met on site with one of their representatives. He listened to us and came up with a schematic of what he heard from us. Then we met with their designer at CMH Builder's office. She presented us with a CAD with potential designs and colors. Her design was exactly what we wanted and very few, if any, changes were made. We later made material selections. The owner also met with us. The contract documents were very thorough, and as a lawyer, I appreciated that. All work was performed as scheduled. The construction foreman/supervisor was in nearly daily contact with us as to progress. During the 8 weeks of construction, we received weekly email summaries of the work that had been done and what would be done the following week. I met some of the CMH workers and subcontractors and all of them were friendly and professional. Change orders were meticulous. The punch list process went very smoothly and all items noted, which weren't very many, were corrected in a very timely fashion. My wife and children were very happy with the design, quality of workmanship and the outcome. Absolutely, the most professional company I've worked with. I would recommend them to family, friends and clients. I've attached two photos-the first one shows the CAD of the wet bar area and the second shows the "as built" version. Would show more photos but we're still moving in and there are lot's of boxes in our new basement.

From the very start CMH was helpful with helping us organize what we wanted in our basement project. Someone came out free of charge and created a realistic, computerized presentation of what the final results would be. We were given an estimate and that is what we paid in the end, no hidden costs or suprises at the end. Our process was smooth and the contractor that came we polite, punctual, and left a neat work area when they left. Our project was finished ahead of schedule by one week, even after we made some last minute add-ons. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to finish a basement.

Everything went great. CMH is the real deal. They are a first class operation and know how to complete a job on time and stay on budget. We had our 1,350 sq ft basement finished by CMH in roughly 12 weeks and everything ran like clock work. Each member from CMH is easy to work with and knows their stuff. We had read positive feedback from customers, and they proved to be the real deal!!

This will be a fairly extensive review of our experience with CMH, and I am trying to include information that I would have found useful (were I looking again at Angie's). About 6-7 months prior to the start of our project, my wife and I were debating the prospect of finishing our basement. While the added space would be much appreciated, the though of significant expenses (in addition to our new baby) was quite worrisome. One of my colleagues had worked with CMH, and spoke highly of them, and felt they gave him a fair price. I contacted CMH and probably within 1 weeks time we had Brandon come to our home for a free evaluation. We walked around the basement, he took photos, and even took photos of a sketch up that I had done describing what I wanted to have done and where. There were certain parts of the basement (my now new office), that we didn't really know what we wanted to have done with. He took all this into account, and when we met at the office, he had created 3d renderings of how the possible spaces would look, and he had a few separate mock ups including fininishing or not finishing the now office space, under the stairs, and including a bathroom. He gave us price estimates on each of these, and we were able to think about what we would want to do. We loved the renderings and decided to proceed forward with CMH in building our basement. However (for several different reasons), we decided to delay a few months before starting the project. I don't know how easy it is to get on to their schedule if you want to build right a way, but for us, we were on the schedule exactly when we wanted later in the year. Later on, after signing the contracts. We met with Meghan (the designer) to help work on colors, flooring, tiles, backsplashes, sconces, lighting, toilet accessories, etc. This was a nice process as she was able to upload our requests immediately into the program so we could see how the colors would actually play out. Our project started out on the work week that we selected. Our project manager Teddy, was very new to the position (we were either his first or second project), but he had lots of experience with team and the process from before. Our basement project included: a work out area, a "dry bar"/snack area, a virtual reality area, TV/couch area, a full bathroom, and an office (along with the unfinished utility room), and two finished closets (one under the stairs). The team, led by Teddy, was terrific. As the project moved forward, Teddy helped keep me in the loop and help ensure that my opinions and needs were met as the project progressed. As an example, our framed ceiling in the bathroom was too short for me ( I am 6'5"), and really wouldn't be able to shower. Teddy was able to help redo the framing of the bathroom (including moving the main sewer line) to ensure the bath room height would be enough. Other little meticulous details like locations for outlets or placing a PVC tube pipe to hide our electronics wiring on the wall, were all done to our exact requests, which was terrific. As far as timing of the project, we were estimated 7-8 weeks of work, and it fell exactly within the time frame. There was 1-2 minor delays (waiting for our cabinets to be built/arrive), but the overall project remained exactly on task. Cost as well was reasonable, and probably within less than $1000 dollars of the initial estimates (which seems extremely reasonable to me, considering changes in plans as we went on). There were several different teams within the CMH group: the framers, electricians, plumbers, flooring guys, etc. And all of these guys were great to work with. I felt they were very courteous, punctual, and quite professional. And more importantly, I think they did a very nice job making our basement look great. My one complaint/concern is regarding the drywall subcontractors who worked in our basement for about 1 weeks worth of time. Ultimately, I felt that they were incredibly unprofessional. Several examples of this include: not introducing themselves when the came into our house, using our bathroom an excessive amount (about 4 times in 1 day, and they even mentioned this being against CMH policy), leaving our basement windows open overnight(when they were supposed to be closed, and it was raining), not having all necessary supplies (asking to use our home trash bags for clean up). While all this annoyed us, they did however do a great job as the drywall looked fantastic. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of CMH team. I would glad recommend them to all, and we are looking forward to many many years of relaxation in our new wonderful basement.

I can't say enough about how awesome I think CMH Builders are. Right from sitting down with the owner, Craig, to working with our project manager, Jared, and our design consultant, Meagan, it all went smoothly and the results are fantastic. Two years ago CMH finished a major part of our basement with a large rec room with a wet bar and a full bath and we just had them come back and finish another large area to be used as an office/guest room. We couldn't be happier. Everyone was professional, easy to work with, and very responsive to all our questions and concerns. There was not one time that Jared did not almost immediately get back to me with an answer to a question or concern. They weren't the cheapest, but you get superior quality and I paid exactly what was quoted! CMH Builders Inc is an exceptional company who provided us with exceptional results.

Fantastic! We got several estimates for finishing our basement, and CMH was the most complete and the cost made the most sense (some were too low to be reasonable and others were so high it seemed they didn't want our business). The communication between all points within the company were excellent, especially from our point man Teddy. Teddy was almost daily checking on the progress of the job and always giving us updates. Whenever we had a concern, he immediately replied and found an answer as the same day. (Our concerns were minimal.). Job was done on time and looks fantastic. We highly recommend CMH for your basement project.

They were very professional and the final product was amazing.

It was completed ahead of schedule. They worked with my budget, and let me do some of the work myself to save money. I found areas that needed fixed, and they were quick to address those concerns. It’s such a nice space now!

We contacted four companies in the Indianapolis area to finish our basement in Brownsburg. One company dragged its feet, one company never responded, one company's craftsmanship looked concerning, and the final company was CMH Builders, a company whose information was passed on to us by our builder. Within 15 minutes of leaving a message for an interview, I received a message back, and we received nothing but good communication thereafter. From our initial meetings with Brandon to the designing with Megan to the contracts and meetings with the owner Craig, and the overall finishing with Jared, we were very happy. They stuck to the schedule, started on time, and finished early, despite our requests for some changes/updates during the finishing process (we decided to have them do the painting, and they added that in on an off-day). The overall finished product is amazing, and the 1,000-square foot addition to our home is used almost every day (it's where our son's play area is). There are a couple things I would have changed, but those were mostly on our end because it's hard to visualize everything when you have a clean slate. The only issue we had was the final cleaning, which could have been better (it was a third-party crew, I believe). But we'd hire them again on a project in a heartbeat and suggest them to anyone in the area.

All the workers did a great job. We really like our new basement. Very responsive to our requests and questions. Great customer focus and they made sure we were completely satisfied with the job until they left.
