Cleary Vacuum & Janitorial

I brought my vacuum in to have a broken axle replaced. I was told it would be $30.00, which was higher than I expected. I asked if there were coupons available online. The man who was helping me told me that, yes, coupons were available. I left the vacuum and was told I would receive a call when the vacuum was ready. I hadn't heard from anyone by Saturday, so I called and was told that the vacuum was finished. Meanwhile, I had found a coupon for &14.95 service plus parts. When I went to pick up the vacuum, I presented the coupon and was told the total was 29.95. I asked ,"didn't the coupon apply?", and was told, yes, it was. 29.95 was the price after coupon. (same price I was quoted when I took the vacuum in). I looked over the bill and realized that I had been charged for a new belt, a new filter, and the axle. When I questioned it, the young man said, "well, I'm not going to argue over it, I'll take it off, but you just got a new belt and filter for free". I said nothing as I handed over my $21.95 and left. So, I am still not quite sure what kind of acrobatics were done with the coupon and the pricing but I do have a repaired vacuum. I will search Angie's list for another provider to try the next time.

Went in to purchase a vacuum cleaner. The salesman was very kind and patient and let me try out a few and discussed their pros and cons. He was not pushy. I was given a very good price and some free accessories with my purchase. They also fixed my old vacuum for the cost of parts.

Fantastic! The guys quickly put the new part on, tested the vacuum and rang me up. I was very pleased with their service.

I don't remember what they charged me, but their price was reasonable. Yet I plan to take my vacuum back to him because they expected it to work a little differently than what it did when it came back. He did a good job and he was very knowledgeable. However, when I got home, it didn't work on all the settings. So I have got to take it back to him and talk to him. It was the owner that I spoke with before I left, but I found out that I actually need to try the vacuum before I leave the store. I expected it to work on all my settings and it didn't. It worked on the one that I needed to. It didn't work on the slow setting and the medium setting. It worked on the high setting. When I left the store we talked about different vacuums and he was knowledgeable about the different ones. I think he put the belt on my vacuum. We have got long hair so we need to change the belt quite often.

My Riccar vacuum was not working properly, it was emitting a burned rubber smell. I took my vacuum into the store, and they quickly determined it needed a new vacuum belt. They installed the belt while I waited, and my vacuum is working perfectly. Thank you Cleary Vacuum!

My Hoover carpet cleaner was making an unusual noise. Cleary checked it out completely and cleaned it for me. However, they found nothing wrong so they did not charge me. Strangely enough, it no longer makes the noise that I heard. I've been there before and they can be counted on to do a good job and their prices are reasonable.

I took my vacuum into the shop, thinking I would need to leave it for days or more. The technician asked if I would like to wait to see if he could find and repair it quickly. He had a new part installed, resolving the problem, within minutes. The low charge of $17.69 was extremely gratifying.

The service was great from start to finish. I had a family energency on the original date of service and they rescheduled with no problem a day later.

I was told this would be hundreds of dollars to repair and advised to just buy another vacuum by a different company. I was so pleased that this wasn't the case. It was finished when promised. I was so pleased with them that when I need to buy another it will be from them.

I was very pleased with the service. He explained everything very well, and was more than happy to talk to me about the vacuum quality. They have a nice selection of new vacuums as well. If I need service, or if I ever need a new vacuum, I wil definitely go back to Cleary.

They were great! We recently moved here from Fort Wayne and didn't know where to go for good vacuum service. I had been in this store one other time to purchase cleaning products and had been pleased with their service. They do not sell our brand of vacuum (from Germany), but took a great interest in looking over my vacuum nonetheless. Even though they don't sell this particular brand, they knew all about it and I learned quite a bit from them. They had sold this brand in the past, but discontinued it when the company was sold resulting in distribution problems. (Given my experience with finding parts for this brand, I would say this was a good decision on their part.) They quickly identified the problem as a clogged primary filter which they advised I could buy online from a distributor. They would not charge me anything for their time and diagnosis. My next vacuum will be purchased from Cleary!

The rotating brushes and finger trigger on my Hoover carpet cleaner / steam vac were not working. I determined Cleary Vacuum was a mfr. authorized repair center and checked customer feedback reports on Angie's List. I dropped of the machine on Monday morning and it was ready to be picked up by Tuesday afternoon. The repair fee was far below the cost of replacing the unit. I was ready to submit a superior report when I pulled up in their parking lot and the service tech met me at my car and offered to carry in the machine for me!

They were efficient and didn't try to sell me a new vacuum. Very nice and pleased with service overall. Store is very clean.

I was pleasantly surprised that he stopped what he was working on and fixed my vacuum, and did not charge anything. I left with my vacuum working well.

When I called to ask about repair service, representative was pleasant and helpful. I found the business easy to access and took the vacuum there, where rep. said the problem was probably in the switch. I asked that he also check filters. He called within 3 days and said it was ready to pick up. I had been using an extra long hose, but rep said that it was more easily clogged and it affected the "sucking" ability of the vacuum (which made sense to me) so I purchased a shorter hose.

I shopped around for price on the Dyson, and their's was the best, probably because they are a Mom and Pop place, which I always prefer to deal with.

He's above and beyond! He could've sold me a quite a bit more, but he's so honest, he didn't try to sell me new models or parts or anything! When I'm ready to purchase a vacuum, I will definitely go there!

I called up Cleary Vacuum because our built in vacuum system for the house didn't seem to work well. They found a clog in the line and checked all the ducts. They sucked out each opening at the vents and did a quick flush of air through the system. The son of the owner came out and did the work in under an hour. It works great now!

They were on time. They were professional. They were courteous and kind. The price was fair. The quality of their work was good. I would use them in the future. Their responsiveness was good.

What a great store. I'll never buy a vacuum cleaner from a dept store again! They did the repair job quickly (in 2 days) at a reasonable cost. More importantly, the selection they had a new vacuum cleaners was amazing. I know where to go back when we're ready to replace. Of course it was nice to not have to replace at this time. :)

The salesman sold me a vacuum handle that has a head that will detach or reattach. It will stop if it sucks in a sock. It has much more suction than the regular residential vacuum, it is supposed to reduce the allergens in the house by 30% - 50%, and it cleans the interior of my cars in half the time. I need to put in a larger circuit breaker, residential to commercial. Service was very professional and expedient. The installer/sales person was extremely courteous.

They repaired it, cleaned it, and offered helpful advice on how to maintain it. I also bought carpet cleaner there that is superior to any other brand that I've ever used.

Prompt, professional and would definitely use them again.

I was impressed that he didn't try to immediately sell me the missing part and suggested I look for it first. If I couldn't find it, he could order one with a phone call since he wrote down the number on his card. (And I found it when I got back home because I knew what to look for.) I appreciate businesses that are honest and helpful, which is why I will continue to shop there and recommend Cleary Vacuum to my friends and family.

We stopped at the store first and were given very detailed descriptions of each of their systems and listened to their recommendations. They offered an estimate and scheduled the installation. At the time of installation, they were on time, very polite, and went to great deal to explain how the system operates. I appreciated doing business with them and love my new central vac system.
