City Wide Paving Inc

City Wide Paving installed a new driveway at my home. The service took only one day. I provided a drawing of what I wanted and they did the rest. I left for work that morning and came home to a beautiful asphalt drive. The crew did what I wanted and more. They cleaned their mess and left barely any signs of them being there. I didn't have to wonder what was going on because Chris was in contact with me just like he said he would. I really like the way they paved in between the overhead door concrete pad and the entrance door concrete pad. It looks like a million bucks!!! Thanks City Wide.

They removed the barriers after they did the work. I assumed that when the barriers were removed it meant it was safe to drive on, but it wasn't. They had come back and do more work without reinstating the barriers. That day I drove in that area and it caused my tires to be filled with crack sealant. The tires on my car are all ruined and I had to replace them - which cost me $299.45. I have tried to call this company many times but the receptionist continually tells me that there's nobody there for me to talk to. I have spoken with the property manager at my complex and they said that the company didn't follow the contract and did work on a day they weren't scheduled to, when there were already 20-30 cars parked in that area. Sheehan Properties Insurance Company and legal advisor said I do have a claim against this company. I would like to at least hear back from this company and get my money back. I might have to take them to small claims court if they do not respond.

They were very responsive but I did not go with them because of the price.

Not well (which surprised us because they had done extensive work on our driveway before and we were very happy with it). They put us on the list to be scheduled in spring of 2006 and they never scheduled us. We contacted them several times and were always told they would get us scheduled. They never scheduled us in 2006 (although they did show up one day without contacting us and left a note saying they couldn't do the job because there was a car in the driveway). I called again in spring of 2007 and was told again that we would be scheduled. I never was scheduled.

THE PAD WAS NOT VERY SMOOTH, CONSIDERING THEY KNEW THIS WAS FOR A BASKETBALL COURT. I TOOK TIME OFF TO BE THERE THE DAY OF THE JOB, BUT THEY ONLY GOT THE PREP WORK DONE, EVEN THOUGH THE ENTIRE PROJECT PROBABLY ONLY TOOK 4-6 HOURS. I HAD TROUBLE GETTING THEM TO RETURN MY CALLS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETE. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT IT'S A MEDIOCRE JOB OF ASPHALT AT BEST, BUT ONCE IT'S LAID THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY SPELL OUT ALL THE SPECS OF THE JOB IN WRITING.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY HAD TO WORK INSIDE A NEW CONCRETE BORDER THAT WAS JUST INSTALLED ALSO. RATED N/A ON THE PRICE BECAUSE WE COULD NOT OBTAIN ANY OTHER ESTIMATES.

GENTLEMAN WAS NEXT DOING WORK FOR MY NEIGHBOR. I STOPPED HIM AND ASKED FOR A QUOTE. HE PROVIDED THE QUOTE AND COMPLETED THE WORK RIGHT THEN AND THERE. HE FILLED IN THE CRACK AND DID A GREAT JOB.

HARD PRESSURE SALES AND GAVE A LOW BID SAYING HE WOULD MAKE UP THE MONEY FROM OTHER HOME OWNERS IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. HE WANTED TO START THE JOB RIGHT AWAY, WHEN I WAS TOLD BY OTHER COMPANIES THAT IT WAS TOO EARLY TO START THE JOB, THE GROUND WAS STILL FROZEN. I WOULD BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY EVEN IF THEY DO GIVE A ONE YEAR WARRANTY.

GOOD COMMUNICATION FROM WORKERS ON WHAT WAS GOING ON.

GRADED DRIVEWAY TO DRAIN WATER INTO MY NEIGHBORS BASEMENT WHEN I TOLD THEM NOT TO DO THAT. DRIVEWAY IS NOT GRADED PROPERLY.
