Circle City Skylights and Roofing

Everything went well. Skylights were on a third floor. Old skylights were removed and taken away and new skylights installed. Installation was clean inside and took less than a day for two.

Randy and his team did an excellent job replacing all our skylights (9). They communicated well, kept their appointment date, and the crew worked for two days all the time. The crew leader, Jason, did an outstanding job installing prepainted interior trim that joined the existing drywalls, so everything looked like new. I highly recommend Circle City Sklylights because they specialize in skylight installation, they use a first class product (Velux), and they do a professional installation job.

Randy and his team were responsive, professional and very easy to work with. Communication was excellent and we are so happy with our new skylights!

Randy Gray was very quick to react. He called immediately after I posted on Angie's List and he was supportive the whole way through, especially when I informed him that one of our old skylights was leaking and we were scheduled to get a lot of rain that week. He came out the same day to quote it and got me the quote within a day. Once I accepted, he and his team were on-site within the week to do the install on 2 skylights, which they finished in less than a day. The 2 days following, it rained heavily and there were no leaks. They did a great job and they came in a lot lower price than others that had responded (to the tune of 40% less). I was so impressed. He followed up with the receipt and warranty info afterward.

The services were delivered with great quality and attention to detail. Randy quickly responded to my email, came to assess the scope of work, promptly came back with a quote and oversaw the work of his team. There was a slight delay with an overall timeline, but mainly due to the weather conditions. Went very well. We didn't shop for price as we wanted to stop a leak. Randy was prompt with both an estimate and execution. Crew knocked things out quickly and efficiently in replacing the old skylight. Cleanup was thorough. Job was done before the next round of monsoons and the leak is gone.

I appreciated his quick response to my call. He arrived late, did not get back with a quote. The lack of a quote is reason for low rating.

Those completing the work were super friendly and they cleaned up everyting.

During our whole house renovation, we found that the single most important quality of a contractor was good communication. Randy was the BEST at this. Because the work was being performed on the roof, in the winter, weather conditions were important to the safety of his workers. He called nearly daily to update us on the schedule, and also offered us flexibility in the timing with other contractors. He was knowledgeable about the products, of course, but also about design features. We love the final look - it's a central feature in our home and brings in great light. We would absolutely hire him again and recommend his services without hesitation.

Circle City did a great job! Prompt, professional communication. When materials ordered and received, Randy arranged for the install and crew showed up exactly on time, ready to work. Within half an hour, problem with redesigned flashing presented itself: on our metal roof, additional roofing material was going to be needed (none of us knew that in advance!) to correctly install new flashing kits, and we had no additional roofing. So job stopped until new material ordered and received, but everyone remained cordial and helpful and crew went on to another job. Two weeks later, after new roofing material received, the crew came back and did the whole job. Cleaned everything up and did a wonderful work!

Randy is a great person and very professional. Since the skylight was difficult to acquire, there was some wait time involved. I am very happy with the work that was completed. I would highly recommend Randy and Circle City Skylights for excellent work.

I had three skylights in my home that all began leaking at about the same time. (they were old). I knew I needed to have them replaced and went to Angie's List to find someone good. I came across Circle City who had many great reviews and I called them. Randy came out the day after my call and inspected and quoted me a price that was very reasonable, I thought, for the work that needed to be done. We agreed that he'd come out the following week to do the work. He called me later that evening to say that he'd had a cancellation and could replace my skylights the very next morning! (Less than 24 hours after the estimate was given).. I agreed and he and his team showed up, on time, and got the whole job done in about 5 hours. They worked fast, professionally, with expertise. They moved my furniture out of the way so that nothing would get on it during the removal of the old ones. Jim, one of their guys, noticed my sofa had some loose legs and even fixed those for me before he put the sofa back! You can't BUY that kind of service, folks! The lights are beautiful, the cost was exactly what I thought it would be, and I'm happier than happy about the whole thing! Oh... and it rained the next day and guess what? They arrived right on time, were very friendly and professional. They didn't leave a mess to clean up! Randy, the owner was on site for part of the day and made sure everything was running smoothly. When they needed some trim, he went to the store to get it himself! I would highly recommend this company.

I contacted Randy to replace two skylights and he sent someone out to look so he could give an estimate. He told me at the time that it would be a few weeks before they would be able to do the job. When I called him for the estimate two days later he couldn't decipher what the other person had written and the man was now on vacation, so Randy came out himself to take a look and emailed an estimate to me the next day, including a 10% Angie's List discount. I told him that same day that I was satisfied with the estimate and told him to go ahead with the job. He again said it would be a few weeks before they could get to me, but then the same day he emailed me and said someone had cancelled a job for the next day and they could do it then. I said that would work great. So, in one week from my initial contact with Randy, the job was done. The men who did the work were on time and very professional and respectful. They put tarps down so nothing would get on the carpet while they worked. Randy came by about midway through the job and stayed until it was completed. The skylights look great. The original skylights were installed when the house was built 17 years ago and were an odd size, but Circle City Skylights was able to use standard size skylights to replace them. I highly recommend their work.

If I hadn't met Randy, I don't think I would have replaced my skylight. I had other quotes from 3-star rated Velux installers come in at far more than what Randy and Circle City Skylight was able to do it for. I met Randy at the Indianapolis Home Show. He took down my information and said he would call me the following Monday. I'm always leery of vendors at those types of shows, but I was reassured when I saw his reviews on Angie's List. Not to mention, he is the only 5-star rated Velux skylight installer in Indiana. There was quite a bit of back and forth (all my fault) to find the right skylight that would fit my budget constraints. I was sure Randy had thought I was a lost cause and was wasting his time, but he was as patient as could be providing me with quotes on all the different options. Once I gave the go ahead to proceed, the skylight arrived in less than a week and work was scheduled around the weather. Randy and his crew installed the skylight in half a day. They had to come back two or three times to install the blind due to a change in the design and incorrect size from my understanding. Each time they came back they were pleasant, moved furniture to perform the install and moved furniture back after they were completed. I would highly recommend Randy and Circle City Skylights.

My skylights had been leaking, contacted Randy for quote. He was quick to respond and was on time for our appointment. I received the quote in a timely fashion, was pleased with the price and we set up an installation date. The crew was prompt, polite, very cautious covering everything in my living room so no damage would be done as they removed the old skylights. Randy also stopped by to be sure everything was running smoothly. The work was completed very quickly which was important as I had to leave for work. I had to email to get my paid receipt and warranty information. Very happy with my new skylights and highly recommend Randy and Circle City Skylights.

I was told by the restoration company(Moore) that the skylight I wanted was not available and put in a cheap one. This company was able to not only find the correct one, but did it in a timely manner. Recommend highly!!

They did a very good job. They were excellent. They were clean and neat. They were efficient. Their price was competitive. They were very responsive and definitely professional.

No show after setting up two appointments and getting my roofer involved.
