Service was timely and professional.

Alec and Josh did my install and they were quick and efficient. It was so hot and humid outside that I felt really bad that they had to work outside. The old cap on my chimney was totally rusted. Now I have stainless steel cap in place and guaranteed for life. The new gas logs were installed and they showed me how to light the fireplace. My old gas logs had not worked in 16 years. I am very happy with the work they did and I would recommend them to anyone.

They rocked it and got it done. They also had a very reasonable price.

Arrived on time and inspected chimney then advised they did not do that kind of repair. Promised to send list of contractors they worked with who did to the work but never sent it.

Estimator showed up on time and examined the issue, taking pictures of the problem to show me. Gave me two options, one was to just fix the main issue and the other was a longer term solution for the whole chimney cap flue system. I chose the later. Cost was about $2700. They removed the crown, removed the broken top flu tile and put in a new crown and tile as well as a "fake" tile around the metal exhaust pipe for the furnace/water heater and raised that pipe so that it won't be spewing excess moisture onto the new flue tile for the main chimney. Work was done on time. Workers seemed to know what they were doing and advised me along the way and took pictures so that I could see the finished product. They took care of our yard and deck and cleaned up after they were done.

Great! Jackson Hayes not only addressed the issue at hand but did a thorough inspection, both inside and on the roof, to make sure all issues were being addressed. He wrote up an overall quote for the job but was able to break it down into small jobs to be completed to better fit out budget.

We have had an estimate for our 100 year old, 2 story chimney. the inside liner has broken and there is some brick work which needs repair. We have not done the work yet but plan to schedule

As I noted prior not so well, when I had called to make an appointment for an estimate for repairs and was advised that there would be a charge to do the estimate, while from their full page ad in a recent Angie's List magazine there was no mention of such a charge. At that time I did added a review. Within a day or two I received a call from Chris who apologized for any misunderstanding, offered to come out to provide us with an estimate at no charge. Jackson came out to provide us with a bid, asked thoughtful questions, answered our questions, inspected our chimney and provided us a bid on the spot. Through the whole process even with the misunderstanding about an estimate fee, everyone one was very nice and professional. We appreciate that, but I do still believe that providing an estimate at no cost is simply a part of doing business.

The fireplace now fully lights but the fan still does not come on.

They were an A+ provider to work with. Due to a cancellation they were able to move up our appointment.

Requested a quote from Angie's List and about a week later got an email from them to call them to have a person go out. Called them and they seem confused (two women) and finally got to the point....they want a $65 fee to go inspect and provide an estimate. Oh and if the work is over $1,000 and they are given the job, they will apply the fee to the work. Angie's list needs to put this kind of fee in their company list so folks don't waste time.

Jackson was very polite, poised and professional; not to mention very knowledgeable. Our gas fireplace is back up and running beautifully with the click of a wall switch. Perfect on this very frigid day! Jackson also educated me on code as well as rain entry, draft and venting. We would definitely recommend their services.

The guys were great to work with, and incredibly attentive. I had several conversations with Chris in advance of the project, and he was great at listening and correcting issues as they came up. Domick and Leo came back to finish some things up, and were incredibly professional. I would recommend them. It was expensive, but worth it.

We could not pursue an estimate with this vendor. They required $100 for an estimate, which we do not object to at all, but they would not apply it to our repair charges unless they totaled $1,000 or more. Although they may do great work, we felt this was not reasonable and have not run into this with any other vendors. When you are on fixed incomes like we are, you just cannot afford to give money away. Our neighbors told us this is how some vendors weed down their customer base when they cannot handle the workload. I think I would have more respect for them if they would just tell us they cannot take on new customers at this time. Let me emphasize again that we did not hire or request an estimate from Chimney Solutions, so this review does not in any way reflect the quality of their workmanship.

All in all, it went pretty well. They were prompt and answered all my questions, which I had many. It is an expensive procedure but if it works it is less than a total rebuild. The process itself did not take very long. They jacked up the chimney and put new supports in. They also needed to redo part of the roof. This is my only complaint area, the new roof does not match the old one. It is on a side of the house you don't really see from outside, but I see it on my way up the stairs every day. Hopefully the repair works and we won't have to deal with this issue again. Time will tell.

Overall very well. The workers were very good and professional. They showed up on time and did a good job. Our salesman was not very good at estimating the time involved in the project or in the amount of stone needed, so it took longer than expected. However the owner Chris made everything right in the end and was very responsive.

Needed a minor repair on a fireplace as I was in the process of selling a home. They came out the very next day and resolved the issue. Very responsive and professional. Would use again.
