Description of Work: A rep came and saw what I wanted done. Price seemed OK, so I made a date for the work to be done. It was a dark, rainy day. I would suggest their employees cover their shoes on such days, but this is not why I have written. On the stairwell and landing, up next to the wall and where carpet meets a room, there are dark streaks which we talked about. Also on steps up against the wall. I told them when they called to see how the work went, and they sent the tech back. He offered a solution that would cost $100/hr. I opted not to do this. I was disappointed. The tech seemed so shy I felt as tho I had kicked the dog when I complained. I had used them before, but will not again. The family room hall and bedroom dont look any differently than they did, and the nap was not raised as usually happens.

Description of Work: ChemDry was very professional and did an outstanding job in cleaning the carpet in several rooms in the house. They were able to take away the stains in the high traffic area of the living room. They also explained all products to me as they were applying and I was very impressed that all were eco-friendly. The rooms dried within 24 hours; however, the wetness dried within 3-4 hours. I would certainly use them again. As in other services, expect to have added costs to the promotions used. I used a "clean 3 rooms" promotion for a certain price but had to add about $90 more for the various phases of the carpet cleaning (spot removal, carpet protector, etc.).

Description of Work: I did not have the service preformed at this time. I have used Chem dry in the past but found their quoting process difficult. They had a special for 5 rooms for 169.00 in the Money mailer. When they started to quote they keeped adding more to the price and said that it was only the traffic areas. One of our rooms over all areas was over the 250 square ft by 18 square feet this would be with alll furnature removed. She informed me that it was only for the traffic areas. Which would be way less that the 250 square ft but still wanted to charge more. The total quoted for the 5 room special plus the stairs and a hallway jumpted to $292.00. When they were finished. I called another Angies list Member company and they are going to do it for $250.00. I asked Chem dry if they would match pricing annd they said No they would only match another Chem dry company. I will not use Chem Dry again.

Description of Work: THIS IS A FOLLOW UP FROM MY REPORT OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2008. CHEM DRY WANTED TO HELP RESOLVE THE PROBLEM OF MY BEING UNHAPPY WITH THE WORK. THEY CAME OUT AND TOOK TWO AREA RUGS IN AND CLEANED THEM FOR FREE. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND REMOVED THE PET STAINS. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEM AND WAS APPRECIATIVE THAT THEY STRIVED TO TURN A BAD SITUATION INTO A GOOD ONE. AT LEAST THEY ARE A COMPANY THAT WILL TRY AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT! THANK YOU CHEM DRY!
