He was very precise. Tacked down paneling that was loose and put 2 coats of "something" to make paint stick to paneling; That procedure was done over a two day period as each coat dried.. He also helped with picking out colors. I was glad because he brought me a color stack that seemed to hold 1,000 different colors! He was careful to cover everything in the room. Very professional person!

We were extremely pleased with the painting crew as well as the finished product. It really helps to walk the project and to understand everyone's responsibilities to prepare for the project. Ours took two days and had no delays.

Certa Pro Indy did a large interior paint job for me as well as painting my cabinets, converting them from stained wood to white. I live in Columbus, Indiana and was excited that they now serve my area because we lack professional painters. All the work was outstanding, the crews were very professional and worked quickly and the price was very reasonable. Extremely helpful to me was the free color consult by a Sherwin Williams color consultant included in the Certa jobs. She picked colors for me that I never would have picked but they are amazing complements to my trim, carpet and furnitures. I have more work to do this spring and I'll be hiring Certa Pro again.

CertaPro did an outstanding job of power washing and painting our new and existing trim. Only weather issues (beyond their control) kept them from getting the job done on time, but when the weather cleared they were there to complete their work. The house looks like new and will last a long time. Job well done!

The old paper was *really* stuck and difficult to remove. But the crew was excellent - their work ethic and skills were very much apparent and very MUCH appreciated. It took 2 days to remove all of the paper and prep the walls, and the 3rd day was set aside for painting. They were considerate of our needs, and kept us informed of their progress. They arrived on time daily and worked very hard - 3 long days! - to finish. Everything looks really wonderful!!

Very well! Work was done w/in 6 hours. Music playing was pretty loud, and there was a bit of powder left on surfaces, along w/ a few drips of paint.

Very professional. They stuck to the estimate, went to the other side of town to get the specific paint I wanted, moved all the furniture, and covered the furniture and all the carpet. The two coats were put on the same day and they moved the furniture back after they cleaned up. would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great painters.

The initial pitch was great, but after that things went horrible wrong. The worst is that the date kept getting pushed and pushed. All I asked was to have it done before my family arrived for a visit (four weeks after the originally estimated date). Then, the wrong crew showed up at the wrong time - waking up my visiting family. Plus, they not only failed to perform all the work agreed upon, they also performed work that was only estimated but never in the contract (and then expected to be paid for it). As others have mentioned, the work was substandard. Wood sections that were documented for replacement were not - but just painted over - badly. The vast number of areas with exposed caulk and spots of the old color supported my doubts about getting two coats, which they attempted to refute. But there was plenty of paint on my siding, brick, screens, door bell, storm door, concrete, and garage door opener. When I complained, they delayed in coming out again but promised to "make it right," spending another four hours replacing the worst of the shoddy woodwork and cleaning up a fraction of all the paint splatter; I'm still trying to clean up all the sloppy paint. When I voiced concerns over the incredibly stressful, low-quality experience, they offered to deduct 50% of the siding cleaning (which wasn't in the original contract but they did anyway). The ironic part is that I choose this firm because the last time I got my trim painted, the original work looked good but didn't last. I thought they'd do a better job... Note: I took over 89 photos of their mistakes. At least half were not resolved in those four hours, but I didn't want them on my property any longer. I've attached some photos to demonstrate the wide range of their lack of quality.

There were problems at every step of the way. There was an issue with scheduling, we did not have a correct contract until it was time to exchange money, they tried to only paint one coat of paint even though we were paying for two coats (I was lucky to be home otherwise I would have never known this), they tried to get out of painting the window sills, they got paint on the roof that was visible from the street, and there was poor communication throughout the process. This was not the least expensive quote we got, but we were hoping to get what we paid for. Instead, this turned into a huge headache. I had to watch very carefully to make sure the job was done right.

Use these folks!!! Best price and job! Super neat and professional. Recommend to everyone! Colton Sales Associate, and Adam Project manager, Adrian Team Leader and David Team are real pros, lots of pride in their work, super hard-working and very nice.

The living room looks fantastic and their painter did a great job!

The crew leader called me the night before they were to start and he arrived on-time the next morning to walk through the job and review paint colors. He made recommendations for the paint color. He then went to get the paint and said the crew would be here to start at 9:30am. Sure enough, the crew was here by 9:25am and started prepping. The crew did a great job and had the entire job done in just over 1 day. The cleaned up and had me walk around to inspect with the crew leader as they were finishing up. They also said to contact them if I saw any missed areas or problems since they do guarantee their work. Their quote included the price of the paint. I have hired several painters over the years and many times a job takes several days or weeks to complete. I have now hired Certa Pro 2 times this year (1 interior project and 1 exterior project) and will definitely use them again. Many times painters quote a price which does not include the paint and then when you factor in the price of paint, you pay more. Certa Pro's quote covered it all.

They were very neat and efficient. I especially appreciated the care they took of the landscaping around the house. My paint job looks beautiful.

We had some rain delays, but once we got scheduled everything got done. All quality issues were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. JJ Dar was helpful above and beyond expectations.

Our salesman, Zach was great, but after the project got turned over to the project manager communication seemed to slip. The project was delayed multiple times because of the rain, but that wasn't a problem and too be expected with the rainy spring, but relaying that message to us and when it would be moved to seemed to be the challenge. The final struggle was was the communication with the foreman. I work in an industry with a large Hispanic force, and that is a challenge I face as well, but the guy in charge has to be able to clearly communicate what is going on and answer questions. He and his partner worked very hard all day and did good work, but it makes the homeowner uneasy if they aren't able ask questions.

Excellent job, I set pretty high expectations and those were met and exceeded very impressed from start to finish 110% recommend them to anyone!

They came at the appointed time and did the work quickly. The siding looks great.

The finished product looks very nice. The folks who came out to give the estimate and do the final inspection were prompt, helpful, very professional, and friendly. The painting crew was also on time and worked neatly and efficiently for several days to complete the work. We weren't entirely satisfied with the prep (filling nail holes, smoothing plaster flaws) and had them return to touch up some areas we felt weren't quite right. Those areas still weren't done quite as well as we expected. Still, we were mostly pleased with the completed project.

This was an excellent experience, not perfect but very well done. Painting crew showed up when scheduled, remained on the job daily until completed and completed on time. There was minor dry wall and trim repair included. Painting crew was respectful and courteous at all times and job was nearly flawless in execution. Specifically, some of the drywall repair should have gone to a professional. There were no surprises in cost.

We ended up not going with them. I would probably not use them in the future because of cost.

1. When I came home from work on the first day, the van was parked in my driveway (as I directed), but 3 big bags of garbage were sitting on my neighbors lawn; when I got to the front steps, there were soda cans on the grass. Not a big deal, but not very professional and certainly not the way that I want to treat my neighbors. 2. I entered the living room and the drop clothes were not covering all of the floor. I told the supervisor that I had just spent thousands of dollars having the floors refinished and he seemed unconcerned and told me not to worry about it. There was splatter (plaster and paint) all over the floors and one large spot in the center of the floor in particular. I took a photo of the spot before and after they cleaned and the spot is clearly visible as is much of the splatter that they left behind. Would they have been this careless if they were painting their own home? Would they have been this careless had they been painting a carpeted room? 3. The entire home was covered in plaster dust from the sanding. From the bedrooms to the kitchen - the dust was everywhere and it took me hours to clean it all up. Would it have been so difficult to hang a plastic sheet over the entrance to the living room to prevent this? 4. They guys filled some nail holes and not others. Large drips of paint on the fireplace. They painted parts of one door frame and not others.They painted the doors for the built in cabinet but got paint all over the metal grillwork and just left it there. I can still see where the chair rail was in the dining room because they didn’t sand it properly. They didn’t sand the baseboards at all. (Actually, after the wall had been primed and painted, I brought this up to the painters and they said they would sand it later. After it had been primed and painted? Really?) Overall a very careless job. 5. The rooms being painted are dark; they have very little natural light and there are no overhead lights. I’m not sure how the workers even saw what they were doing. They didn’t bring any lights with them. It’s no wonder that they were able to patch, sand, prime, and apply two coats of paint to the living room wall without realizing that they were painting over wall paper. 6. I had been assured that they were sending their most experienced crew for this job and I took them on their word. I had read good things about Certapro on Angie’s List and had expectations for a highly professional job. Instead, it seems that the job was subcontracted out to some very hardworking but inexperienced painters with no attention to detail.

They did an excellent job. They did what they said they were going to do and it's beautiful.
