CertaPro Painters® of Indianapolis

We were provided an estimate (as listed above) of items to be covered. After the project was completed, an extra $600 was added to the price for this "extra" work that was performed, without written contract of items completed, nor any specific information provided at any point in the two week project time. When asked to produce a written statement of materials used and areas of work done for justification of the extra $600 charge, failed to produce requested information. Customer should be provided written estimate of an additional work to be conducted, with customer knowledge and consent prior to work being completed. Permission was not sought and consent was not given for additional work that was not specified within the line item. The notes section of this contract should speficially state that the customer is providing implied authorization to do additional work that is not specified in the contract line item. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I do commend the subcontractors who actually perform the back breaking work . The subcontracted painters did a fine job, and it would behoove me to hire them separately.

JJ showed up on time for the estimation. He understood my concerns through my questions and answered my questions in detail. I just purchased a condo and tried to get it ready to move in. Part of my condo had been repainted but the job was not well done. I was wonder if CertaPro could fix it. To be consistent with what had been painted, JJ suggested me provide the paint. Two painters showed up on time and got to work right away. After communicating with them the first morning, I gave them the key and then left to work. When I checked up my condo in the evening, I was impressed that the workers cleaned up after their work although they would come back to continue the job the second day. The painters were very polite and would call me if they had questions. They completed the job in two and half days (interior walls, ceiling, baseboards, trims and doors). I am very satisfied with their job and would continue to use their services. JJ was very detailed

Certa Pro came out four times. First for the estimate, second to replace some wood that had rotted, third to spray the house, and finally to paint. There were two men and they did a fine job. I thought the work would take at least a day and a half but they stayed until 9pm in order to finish up in one day. They were very friendly and professional. They were both Hispanic and language was a bit of a barrier but I am very happy with the work that they did. Plus their price was a couple of hundred dollars less than the other estimate. I would hire them again.

I contacted multiple paint companies for quotes. CertaPro rep was very good, punctual, answered questions etc. The price was good and I got multiple houses to use them so we got an even better deal. I needed some trim replaced also and later I found I should have gotten a quote before hand on that however. They told me how much an hour it was but when the final bill came I was shocked at the carpentry cost, nearly 1/3 of the bill. The CertaPro rep and I negotiated the carpentry to a reasonable price since I was home and had documented the hours worked. They had 30 minutes more billed than I had, which times 5 people turns out to be a big difference. So now to the paint. The story that we put a certain amount of paint so one coat is fine is just a story, there are a couple sections of the house that you can see they didn't get full coverage and even when I mentioned it they stated it just wasn't fully dry thus the difference in the sheen. I can say on the hardiplank one coat is probably ok, at least if they do a good coat, but on the trim I don't think it's sufficient. Oh and the story of we backroll, ha, that's funny. I had to force them to backroll the trim at least where I could see them. Hardiplank it wasn't worth the battle. Lastly I had one small section of the house where the paint started to peel a month after they finished. It was on the second story but where I could stand on a roof easily and scrap and repaint it. It was very weird and it seemed that there was moisture that got up into the hardiplank. Never had the issue before but I really wonder if they pressure washed at an up angle that forced water where water normally wouldn't go and that caused the anomaly in the one section. Anyway, not real happy with the work but I do have a 3 year warrantee so we'll see what happens, they may be getting a call from me next summer to collect on the warrantee.

It was great! They were very professional and I felt like the job was in the hands of very competent people! The job was finished very quickly and it was thorough.

I was very pleased with CertaPro Painters. JJ gave me a detailed estimate, breaking out pricing for ceilings, closets and walls. They were able to schedule the work on the day I chose and the crew showed up on time. They walked through the house with me to be sure we were on the same page on what I expected. I decided at the last minute to go ahead and paint the ceilings in addition to the walls. No problem. They did an awesome job of preparing the walls. I had a few issues (wallpaper border glue, bad patch job by the previous owner and crack in textured ceiling) and was amazed at how quickly they fixed them. They completed the work in 8 hours and cleaned up everything. They even ran the sweeper and moved a few heavy pieces of furniture for me. They left ceiling and wall paint for touch-ups. I received follow up phone calls and emails to make sure I was happy with the work. I assured them i was and would have no problem referring them to family and friends. I don't think I will paint a room again. They know what they are doing and do it so quick. Great job, CertaPro!

I contacted CertaPro for estimate and told them I needed painting done asap. They immediately responded with pricing, and scheduled a meeting with their color consultant who was a terrific help since I am not good at colors. Two days later the painting began, was completed in two days and was perfect. Everything was cleaned up after each day, and communication as the project proceeded was flawless. I've used CertaPro before and I certainly will again!

I hired Certapro for a few large painting projects. We have actually used them 3 times now and never been disappointed. They made sure when finished their work areas were cleaner than when they began. They have fair pricing I feel and have only done an excellent job everytime we have used them.

It was good. They did a good job keeping the paint on the house. I thought they were going to do two coats of paint and they only did one. Some of the workers get sick so we had to kind of push things off. It took a little longer to get the house painted but it still got done. They came out even when it was cold.

They were on time, cleaned up well, neat work. The workers were polite and clearly wanted to do a good job.

It turned out fine! They were pretty thorough, did a good job and met their time frame they said they would complete it.

Wonderful experience! I work nights and the crew was able to schedule around my sleep schedule. Wonderful communication from everyone-the estimator, production manager, and the work crew. They completed the job in one day. I was very pleased with the finished job. The crew kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves.

They did a great job. They were very curteous, clean, festidious with the work, and basically did a great job. They were concerned to make sure that I was happy. They were very open to communicate to make sure that I was completely satisfied.

They just did the exterior painting. The quality of the service was good, but I don’t feel that strongly about them one way or another, so I might use them in the future if needed but I am not sure.

Overall this was not a good experience. The quality of the work was not good and it was somewhat of a hassle to make sure the work was completed.
