This was a GREAT experience! The guy who came to quote was very nice and knowable about the trade. He measured, explained how they do the painting, and provided a printed quote on site. He also added options that I could consider (part of the ceiling, all ceiling, etc) adding onto the quote. I felt this gave me a better understanding of what I was paying for and gave flexibility when planning. After the quote I felt the scheduling was easy. It was a rental that I planned on listing for sale so my schedule was tight and they were very accommodating. As far as the work it was perfect. They fixed walls that needed filled\repaired, painted without any mess, and cleaned up after. They even told me to get it painted after installing new carpet so the carpet laying company did not damage the fresh paint…shows their confidence in not getting paint anywhere. I plan to use them again!

We are very happy with the great service we received from the Sales Associate, Paul Strack & the residential product manager, A. J. Taylor who stopped by to check on the 2 men that did the work. The 2 painters were very nice & professional. We will use them again.

I hired the company to paint the interior of a house that was about to be put on the market. With vaulted ceilings and some minor surface repairs necessary, I knew that this job would be too much for me. With just 2 workers, the job was completed in only 2 days. Upon inspecting the work, I was extremely pleased with how the project went. The walls look great and the painters did a great job of cleaning everything up afterwards. I'm very happy with this company's work.

I have wood siding in along the back of the house and the rest of the house is brick. I really wasn't sure how much it was going to cost, but considering that the wood siding was recently cleaned, wire-brushed and painted, I wasn't expecting it to be too expensive. I was a little shocked at the cost, but sticker shock is my own issue. After researching other reviews from various painters, this really isn't crazy. He was professional and I appreciated the quote

The person who came out was knowledgeable. He spent some time and he listened to what my questions were. He provided materials and answers, but his bid was just not in the ballpark.

I think they are terrible. It seems several years but I think probably 2006, 2007 or 2008 I got a paint job done on my home and I hired CertraPro Painters because I figured that they were reputable. It was very disappointing. I mean they sent out Mexican crews. The crews can’t speak any English. Also when the boss from CentraPro left in the morning time so did the workers and I told them that they didn’t do anything about this that my roof is kinda steep and they couldn’t reach the chimney part because they have to paint that to and so they stood one on top of each other’s shoulders on my roof and I was so scared that somebody is going to fall down and have a very serious accident but they got paint all over the roof. They made a big deal and actually that’s how I got in contact with Grover Upton. They used Grover Upton for their roof repairs but they didn’t use drop cloth or anything. They got paint all over the roof. They got paint all over my fencing. They did a really fluffy job and they are suppose to be quality painters and definitely was my experience. It was probably more than 4 years ago. This is 2014 it could be even mean 7 or 8 years ago something like that. To be honest I cannot remember but I know that they are pretty expensive. I just paid it because I figure its CetraPro they will do a good job but I was wrong. They were just awful. They were pretty responsive. They were quick to come and get the quote. They were quick to say that they would start the job. I wish they have been less responsive and I wish I hadn’t used them. They weren’t very responsive in terms of fixing what they needed to fix. Not more than one guy staying and other workers living and the job takes longer and there is one guy there all who doesn’t speak English and rest of the crew has left I don’t think that’s punctual. I mean they use to arrive all at one time at 7:30 in the morning then about 8:30 everybody would have left and only this one guy who stay to do the job by himself.

The work was completed on the dates I needed, which was of great importance to me because I had a tight schedule of work to be done on my condo before listing it. The crew supervisor called me in advance to confirm the dates and the rooms to be painted. I was already out of state the dates they were scheduled to work, so I left them the code to the lock box on the door. They worked without my supervision and completed it according to schedule. Although I have not seen the work in person, the pictures look good and my real estate agents confirmed that the work was completed to satisfaction. The only reason I indicated that I would not use them again is because I have moved out of state, not because of my experience.

Well today is 12/5/13 they are done painting. Looks soo nice Very Happy!! Yes would use them again.

Overall it went well. There was some miscommunication with the sales representative in terms of approximate cost of the repair to the wood siding prior to painting but we understood that it had to be done. There was also some miscommunication in whether they would be painting the windows to match the trim of the house. Our understanding was that they were; however, it had not been included in the estimate. We were debating between a handful of colors and Michelle was extremely patient with us in producing countless renderings of our home in different colors. The team that did the painting was fantastic - very kind when I had the opportunity to interact with them and they were very efficient. They did a phenomenal job and explained to me things that they could and could not do. The house went from a light blue with light blue trim to a dark gray with white trim. We abosultely love it and have received numerous compliments on it! We would definitely use them again but would probably request a different sales representative for the estimate.

They were great! They did such a nice job. No complaints. We felt that we paid a fair price for the value. I know we could have gotten a less expensive job, but it wouldn’t last as long.

They did a really good job! They cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with them. While they were painting, I was so pleased with the quality that I added additional rooms on for them to paint. The paint went on so well and looked so good. The only drawback was that one of the guys told me how much paint to buy and he overestimated so I have so much paint left over. They have done work for us previously. They painted the exterior of our home.

They power washed the whole house, repaired damaged siding and trim and painted

Everything was smooth. Power washing went great, then woodwork was replaced. Wood replacement turned into more work than we had anticipated. Before any additional work was done, estimate of newly needed work was shown to us for explanation and our approval. Chimney was in need of extensive repair, which we did have done. Shingles needed replaced after the chimney repair, however when I got home from work I noticed the new shingles did not even come close to matching our older shingles (roof was not that old). I called AJ, and he took care of it, and ordered more shingles that matched and the work was re-done quickly and looks great. The paint color is just what I wanted. Their design specialist came out to meet with me on color choices, and she had many options. She even sent me pictures of my house with the top 2 color choices on it so I could make a decision. The painting crew was great, very professional and friendly. They did excellent work, and in only 2 days, were done. They cleaned up well. We did a walk through and only very few touch ups were needed. I must admit the first painting crew that was booked did not show up (van broke down), so we called in and another crew was scheduled to come out a few days later. This company is well run, and we enjoyed working with JJ, AJ and Manuel. Manuel made sure everything was perfect. We were pleased with everything. I would highly recommend Certa Pro. Also want to mention, of all the quotes we got (around 8), they were one of the best priced.

They showed up on time and got right to work. They did a wonderful job, very professional, clean and polite. Cleaned up after themselves each night. Great job, would use them again!

It went well despite few elays caused by both parties. They did a great job power washing the deck and house. A crew of 8 came in the morning on time and two or three more came later in the day to help finish the job. The foreman was great! Believe it or not they did everything from caulking to painting in just one day. My house is pretty large two floored with nice sized garage. I felt that they rushed a bit and it should have been two days job as originally planned. I found some missed spots or holes that should have been caulked. BUT for the price we paid it was much cheaper than two earlier estimates we received. First one wanted $8000! Second was $4400.

They are wonderful. I would hire them back in a second. They were very particular. They spent a lot of time prepping and covering up all my furniture. They would work all day long getting here at 8 a.m. and only breaking for about 15 minutes for lunch! They were such hard workers. Everyday before they left they would clean up and vacuum. I liked that their supervisor came over everyday to check on the job. They were also very friendly.

It was great experience. The prices were very reasonable. They were very professional, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. We were very happy with their work.

Job was originally quoted in spring 2012 but other projects took precedence for us so we put off the work until spring 2013. Trent agreed to hold pricing, and also agreed to allow us to use Angie's List discount which was not included in the original quote. Power washing was completed the week prior to painting, and the paint crew came out on time Wed. 5/8 to started taping around light fixtures while the crew leaders left to get paint that would match existing colors. They worked with us to make sure the color match was what we wanted. They worked approx. 5 hours the first day before storms came through, and could not work the rest of the week due to weather. I was told they would return as soon as weather allowed, but Monday no one showed by 9AM despite good conditions. After I called the office the crew was re-directed to our house to finish the job - apparently there was confusion with scheduling. Project was to paint soffets, the outside of the screened-in porch, a few small sections of siding on the upper level and all decorative stucco around windows and the front entry. One coat was applied to the soffets and porch the first day but when I inquired about the second coat I was told both had already been applied despite the short day. I contacted the project manager, AJ to confirm this and ensure I received the two coats agreed, and AJ came to the job site to check paint usage. We agreed that after an additional purchase they would use approximately the amount of paint that was anticipated in their proposal and that two coats would be applied to all surfaces. Ultimately they did go around all soffets and the porch to apply a second coat, as well as to all window surrounds and the porch. Once completed we walked around the house with Patty for final inspection and they fixed a few minor flaws and missed spots on the front entry. About six weeks after the work was done I had to pull some leaves out of my gutters on the upper story and noticed that when they climbed on the roof to paint a section of siding that can't be seen from the ground they accidentally pulled up a section of deicer cable in the roof valley and did not re-install it. I left a message for AJ, then called the office twice before he called me back. AJ indicated he would have their carpentry crew schedule a time and call me back. Two weeks later I again left a message for AJ, and a week later he called me back indicating the crew would be out the following week. The worker did show up on the date scheduled, about two hours late, but could not physically do the work because of the steep pitch of the roof and the limited space in which he had to work. He indicated he would recruit another worker and come back later that day or the next. After not hearing from him by 11:00AM the following day I called AJ, who indicated if I had a ladder he could use he would come out and do the work himself. AJ showed up at the time agreed and re-installed the cable to my satisfaction. Overall the quality of the work was good and they cleaned up well. My only concern is that I'm not sure all surfaces would have received two coats had I not raised the issue, and punctuality/follow-up was an issue, requiring me to be very proactive when commitments were not kept. Ultimately they got the job done, and AJ gets bonus points for doing the cable re-install himself when getting a crew member to the house proved problematic. He did a good job or working around potential client service issues.

We changed the color and they provided a color consultant. The guys were very clean and cleaned up everything. They did a super job. They did minor repairs and recaulked. I would use them again.

It was a seamless renovation! The moment we called and spoke to AJ at Certapro we felt we were dealing with a professional individual and company and our feeling was accurate. The quote was detail-oriented which was very important to us and the results were amazing. The crew showed up on time everyday and communicated if they were not going to be there due to weather etc. We felt every member did a quality job and were respectful of our residence keeping everything as neat as possible with the size of the job. The attention to detail was great and we appreciate each of them helping to make our Home Sweet Home a little sweeter.
