They shower door was defective and rather than have me spend the money on caulking since the door needed to be replaced, they ordered a new door for me under that warranty I had for the manufacturer and will install it for me when it comes in. The mirror could not be fixed but they found the same one and ordered that for me too. They could have recaulked and charged me but they are honest and trustworthy and did not do so. I go to this firm for all my bathroom enclosures and mirror and glass needs.

The company made four or five separate trips to do the work. First, they removed an old mirror and replaced it with a new one. This went reasonably well. Then,ma week later, they came back to replace the window and door glass. The installer did a descent job on the Windows but couldn't do the door because they gave him the wrong size. He came back two days later to finish the door which turned out OK but took a long time. Few days later two people came back to do the shower work, which they couldn't finish because once again they had the wrong parts. Again, after a week, two more people showed up to basically replace a shower door latch and again they couldn't do it because the parts wouldn't fit. After over an hour they informed they had finished. To my surprise they just cleaned and re-installed the old rusty parts. The latch works but they didn't do what I paid for. This is unacceptable work. I had to stay home on four or five different occasions, postponing appointments or canceling things which was wasted time for me and for the Carmel Glass and Mirror, costly time for both of us. At this point I am not asking for anything else, I am submitting this review to encourage the company to do a better job managing its business.

Excellent service. Easy scheduling and very responsive. The service was expensive but was worthi it based on quality and service level.

This company was great to work with. I stopped by the shop one day when I was in the area. Barry, the general manager, showed me the different options that could replace my current shower door. He also explained the different glass options to me. He took my name & number and said Kevin would call me later that day to schedule a time to come measure, which he did. Kevin came out 2 days later, measured, and made some recommendations for me. I had an estimate via email later that day. I had some grout work that needed to be completed prior to the new door being installed and they were very accommodating. They even came and removed my old door so the grout work could be done. The door looks fantastic and really updates the bathroom. The crew was very personable and did an awesome job. They showed up when they were scheduled and cleaned up their mess before they left. It was an absolute pleasure working with this company.

We had 9 or 10 windows that had failed and there was clouding between the glass. I called Carmel Mirror and Glass and a man came out to take measurements. Because the wood around the windows was still good, he offered to order new glass for the window, replace the glass, and put the window back in. The process costs a whole lot less than just buying a new window. The two gentlemen that came were named Paris and Levi and they were really professional and worked hard. They were here from before 9:00am until 4:40pm and got all of the work done. They also hung a large, antique glass mirror above our fireplace. They knew what they were doing and we didn't even need to touch up the paint on the inside because they did such a careful job. I thought that the price was fair as I've bought windows in the past so I know about what this alternative would've cost.

This is the best company for glass or glass replacement. I have used them several times. They replaced two sliding glass doors, put in a new glass shower and now I had them replace a broken window panel. They came to estimate and two days later replaced the window. They were quick, neat and very efficient. I love dealing with this company and would highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with the service, we had received an estimate from another company that was right within the same ballpark range so we believe they were fairly priced based off of that information, while it was admittedly a pretty expensive service.

Completed on time Work seemed well done.

They came when they promised and worked busily for several hours. We have not had any difficulty with this installation.

Before selling my house I needed to have my kitchen window repaired. Carmel glass completed an estimate and the work as promised and were friendly and professional. When I move to my new house, I am planning to have them make glass tops for my bedroom furniture.

Estimate was double other companies in the area. Did not use, and will not call again.

The work was fine. Their prices are on the higher end. Scheduling was also fine.

Original measurement of window dimension was incorrect which required another trip on their part and repair delay. Repair appears ok.

I had to wait a week to get them but they were accurate and of good quality. Receptionist was not too friendly at the desk and ignored me while carrying on a personal call.

It went extremely well. The installers actually showed up early, went right to work and did an amazing job. They were professional, courtesy and very professional. They were very neat and cleaned up the area upon completion of the project. I was extremely pleased with my selection of Carmel Glass from the time I visited the show room to the rep who came to measure and give estimate and the actual installation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They came out and measured and were very courteous. The wrong door had came in for the shower and they worked really hard to correct the error and they were very prompt about it as well. They were truly professional and really easy to work with even when there was a mistake. I loved them and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had a very unhappy experience with this company. I called the first week of July to arrange for a technician to come to my home to take the proper measurements. This went well, and I was happy with the quote that was emailed to me on Friday, July 5. On Monday, July 8, I called to accept the quote, and paid the deposit by credit card over the phone. I was told both in the quote and over the phone that my order would take 3 to 5 working days. I expected to hear back from them on that Friday, or the following Monday, July 15, at the latest. By Friday, July 19, I still had not heard from Carmel Glass and Mirror. When I called to inquire about my order, it turned out to be after hours, so I had to leave a message. They are not open on weekends. I assumed they would return my call on Monday, July 22. This, by the way, would have been exactly 14 days after placing my order, which was supposed to have taken 5 days at the most to complete. I was completely astounded when they did not return my call. I called again on Tuesday and was able to speak to someone who seemed to be having trouble finding my order. I had to wait for someone else to call me back to let me know what was going on, and even then I'm not sure exactly what the mix-up was. I think my order was lost or had never been placed, but it was never fully explained. I was only told that my order had now been moved to the and quot;top of the list.and quot; When we were finally notified that the glass was ready, my husband went to pick it up on Friday, July 26. (We had elected to pick up rather than have it delivered, since it would have cost us an additional $90 for the six-mile distance.) He was expecting upon arrival to receive some kind of apology and reparation for the fact that we had received such bad service and were quite unhappy with our experience. However, this did not happen. There was no adequate apology, just a person holding her hand out for the rest of our payment. The next day, Saturday, my husband placed the large piece of glass on top of the desk so that I could unwrap it, and it was then that we discovered the glass was not the right size. Of course we had to wait until Monday to call, since they're not open on weekends, and during the call my husband had to remind them that they were the ones who had taken the measurements. Again, the person with whom he spoke did not seem to care that yet another thing had gone wrong. A couple days later the technician came back to our house and saw that he had mismeasured. I will say that he apologized, and he did go back and have a new piece manufactured for us. They delivered this and took away the first piece without charge. The quality of the work is fine, and the original price was fine. However, I was unhappy that my order was lost, that my phone call was not returned (I think this one bothers me most of all!), that it took us more than two weeks to receive our order, that the work was not done right the first time, and that no offer of recompense was made in an effort to appease an unhappy customer. If only one of these first four things had happened, I would not have been bothered. But when a customer has to go through so much, and the employees and/or management don't seem to care, it seems to me that the business does not value customer satisfaction. For this reason I cannot recommend Carmel Glass and Mirror to others.

Both of the windows were rather large. One was a tall window in my dining room and the other was a door window. They were very professional and came when they said and cleaned everything up after themselves. I was very happy with the experience.

They arrived on time as promised. The service person agreed that the mirror was coming off the wall but felt he needed another person to help him due to the size of the mirror. After calling the office to find out no one was available, he had such a great concern that my mirror could fall off the wall at anytime and hurt someone, he carefully pulled back the mirror and slowly glued the entire back by himself then resecured it to the wall. This is why I always call this company when I have a glass or mirror issue, they are very concerned not only for their product but for the safety of the client as well.

Measurements were correct. Installers were professional. Product looks better than new. Overall satisfaction

Affordable, prompt. Qualify was acceptable.

I had a broken window and they came out, measured it, cut the glass and they fit the window and came out and installed it. It all went pretty smoothly. They replaced the broken glass with the new glass and they were able to use the old wood trim. They were efficient and fast. Because the glass had to be custom made, it was a little pricey. But I would say their pricing was competitive and fair.

I called to get a price and then made a 50% deposit. I was told that they had about a 4-5 lead time. In four days they called to make an appointment. They arrived when they promised and quickly put up the mirror.
