C & A's Chimney Sweep & Lawn Maintenance Services

I forgot to leave the key out for Tim. He and his wife were so nice about it. I felt awful. We got another day rescheduled, and like clockwork, Tim came out and cleaned the chimney. His rates and professionalism are top notch. He's my twice a year chimney cleaner and I'm glad I found him on the list.

They arrived about 10:30 and stayed until about 2:45. Worked through the list of items that I had sent to them in an email earlier in the week. Everything seems to have been fixed well and they were very willing to help and spend even a little extra time. I would certainly recommend them!

They did a great job spreading all the mulch I had. They dug up some invasive plants and cleared several areas that had become overgrown. My yard looks so much better. Very nice and very professional.

He was very good. I would rate him high overall. He gave me suggestions. He knew what I needed. I will use him again in the future.

Tim and his helper were very polite, personable, and efficient. They did a great job with the fireplace & chimney. Tim even noticed I had some poison ivy at the front of my house, & offered to spray it for me. He checked all around the house in my other garden beds for poison ivy! He asked if I was interested in some other services, which I am so he will provide some estimates for possible future work.

Arrived on time, was very friendly. No power equipment was used but the job was done very thoroughly. Clean up was complete, I was very satisfied and even discussed possible future work.

NO CALL, NO SHOW!!!! I took off of work to have services rendered as scheduled with Tim A (owner), as I had already paid for the services via Angie's List on May 24, 2011. During my initial conversation with Tim on May 24 to schedule my appointment, he explained to me that Pendleton was too far and this was not his ideal area in which to work for him. However, he said that he did have one other account in the area so I offered to give him enough time to coordinate both accounts' appointments on the same day. this is why we decided on June 27th, more than a month after I purchased this Big Deal. Unfortunately, my time was wasted by a no call, no show situation. It is now July 10 and I still have not received any call or explaination. this is very unfortunate because as I explained to Tim, my intent is to establish a working relationship with a Handyman for completion of several projects around my house now and in the future. this could have been good business for this company! I will be asking for my money back and hope that this review saves others from having their time and money wasted too.

It went fine, but we had ordered the chimney sweep from Angie's list advertising a special on June 17 for $99, paid Angie's list, then had to pay an extra $20 to Tim, the chimney sweep on the day of service. He explained that the extra $20 was because the chimney was masonry and he had to remove the damper and clean out the firebox and shelf. He said that Angie's list should have explained the extra cost in its advertising. I'm inclined to think so also. In regard to Tim's work, he worked very hard and long to get the chimney cleaned and we have no complaint re his work.

Tim arrived on time. He layed down tarps from the fireplace to the front door to keep my carpet clean. He cleaned the chimney, cleaned out the leftover ashes, cleaned my hearth and fixed the screen and damper. We talked about all of this before he began working. He worked efficiently and was done in about one hour. He left my living room clean and our fireplace looks cleaner also. He told me how often I should get the chimney cleaned based on how often we have a fire each year.

I purchased this Big Deal because with all of the rain my yard had become over grown with weeds. Tim arrived on time and we discussed what needed to be done. Tim was very professional and worked very hard to get the yard cleaned up. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Tim.

We purchase Tim's "Big Deal" on Angie's list. C&A was quick to respond to the purchase to schedule the service. Tim had availability for the time frame we wanted. He was punctual, courteous and professional and did his work in a very clean manner. My wife was at home and was very comfortable with him. He also gave us some insight into an unrelated problem we had with our new home. Thanks!

I'm embarrased I cannot remember his name, but the owner of the business is kind, professional and thorough. I can tell that he really cared about our home and to make sure we were happy with the job. He even showed us our ash box and told us that it was virtually empty, showed us where it was located and how to use it. He also does other handyman services for which we will call him should the need arise. He is a great guy. Hire him!

Tim called before coming and stayed the full 8 hours I bought on the Angie's List big deal. He also helped me with my project of painting my shutters.

I was very impressed with C&A. The entire process took a little over an hour. Our chimney had not been cleaned in about 7 years so Tim has his work cut out for him. He did an amazing job. I had no idea my fireplace could look that clean!

Very professional and friendly! When he entered the home all areas were covered and no debris was left behind. This experience was a first for us and I would highly recommend their services and I WILL use him again.

The owner was a very professional and pleasant gentleman. He was quite concerned about keeping my floors clean & was extremely helpful with ideas to help solve a problem with my fireplace (it smokes on lighting) He spent a long time making sure the flue was clean and even called the next day to see if everything was okay. A great experience and I definitely recommend!

I called and left a message. Tim returned the call and we set up a time for him to come and clean the chimney and fireplace. He called 15 mins in advance of his scheduled time and was punctual. He wore shoe covers to avoid getting the carpet and floor dirty. He cleaned out the fireplace and the chimney. He did a really good job and the fireplace looked as clean as it did when we bought the house. Cleaned up very well afterwards. Recommend highly.

Great service. I left a voice mail for Tim Anderson at approximately noon on a Friday. Tim returned my call within an our. Tim scheduled to clean our chimney the following day. Tim committed to arrive approximately at noon. As promised, Tim called prior to arriving and arrived earlier than promised. Tim arrived in a protective suit and shoe covers to protect our house from dirt. Tim covered his entire path to and from the chimney. Tim did a great job of cleaning the chimney and the entire fireplace. Tim was very professional and customer focused. He cleamed up after he was done. I hightly recommend C&A's Chimney Sweep to anyone who needs this service. A+++++

I bought the Big Deal on Angie's List for a $99 chimney cleaning from Tim. This is the second time I've had him over to perform the service. I have to be fastidious about cleaning my chimney liner because I have a wood stove and burn about six ricks per winter. I clean the chimney twice per year to prevent any chance of a chimney fire. I arranged with Tim to come on Saturday. I had a ski outing planned that day and left the key under the mat for him. Unfortunately, I had to leave ashes in the wood stove from the fire the night before. Tim cleaned the wood stove and performed the cleaning while I was away having fun for the day. When I came home everything was ship shape! I highly recommend this guy. He is service focused and enjoys working for Angie's List members. His rates are very good (even without the Big Deal special).
