They worked so hard and very quickly as we were on a time limited Big Deal. We paid for 6 man hours of labor so it was three of them that came out. I can hardly say enough. He was very willing to handle any of the yard work that we asked him to do.

We had extensive trim work, edging, tree trimming, and mulching to do. We used one of the Big Deal coupons, and he was very mindful of the time verses the amount for the coupon. The work quality was excellent and it was hot and humid to boot! It was impressive to walk around the area with Tim, discussing what we wanted and listening to his input. The plans we discussed were carried out to the letter! He and his crew were amazing!! They will be used every season here in Noblesville!! Highly RECOMMEND!!!

Very well from the moment they arrived continued busy and attentive to our wishes and the tasks at hand; took direction very well and made several excellent suggestions, left premises looking neat and much better than before.

The experience was very good. The appointment was rescheduled twice due to company issues but the day they came for the appointment, they were right on time. The owner, Tim, and a helper were very thorough. They made sure not to leave any type of mess. Tim was literally in the fireplace trying to clean it. They spent a great deal of time here. I have never had a chimney sweep company make such an effort. I will definitely hire them again.

They left our living room cleaner than they found it! They answered all of my questions and helped us figure out the best way to maintain and improve our fire place. Tim even offered to come back if we had any issues installing a new part he ordered for us. I'll definitely call them again when I need a chimney sweep or have any needs regarding our fireplace!

I asked them to come back the following week to edge the driveway, which they did, but I was charged more than originally agreed upon. When I wrote them a note expressing my concern, they did follow up and explain the charges. I opted to pay the amount and all was settled.Although they did a reasonable job, I felt that it was not their specialty. I would probably look for someone else next time. They cleaned my chimney as promised, but after I paid for the service, I discovered that there was a $30 charge for masonry chimneys. Aren't they all masonry chimneys?

They started slow but did get the job completed.

I could not be happier with the service I received from C&A's Chimney Sweep And Lawn Maintenance Services. Tim & his wife do a fantastic job of communicating with customers in a timely manner. My appointment was set up with ease. Tim & Fred arrived early and worked late. Tim & I walked around the yard so he knew what we would like done. I told him my top priorities were (1) edging, (2) weeding & (3) mulching. I told him we would be happy to spread mulch if they ran out of time, and he assured me he would take care of it. Not only did they tackle my top (3), but they removed old vines & trimmed shrubs & a tree that was touching the house. They spread all of the mulch that we had purchased & cleaned off the driveway when they were done. Tim trimmed back a vine that was taking over the front of my house revealing some pretty stones the previous owners had installed. He also gave me some tips for controlling the vines. The yard looks beautiful, and Tim & Fred did a better job in 3-4 hours than I could have done working all weekend. They were very friendly and personable too. I would use them again in a heartbeat! Best Big Deal I have purchased to date :)

Inquired about extending an offer that had already expired--they graciously offered to extend the special pricing! Tim and his helper showed up on time that we agreed upon and after walking the lot and explaining what I was looking to have done, they immediately went to work.They finished the clean up phase of the job AFTER the agreed time that they would complete the work and he insisted I pay only the agreed upon price.Tim was professional. He knew what he was dealing with (I sure didnt, as Im not a landscape/plant/shrub afficionado by any means) and he was very customer oriented as he had my wife check his work and made sure we were both pleased with the work performedThey ripped out approximately 11 separate shrubs, trimmed and cleaned up after another approx. 15 bushes/shrubs and trimmed two trees and then cleaned up in a little over three hours! Tim communicated very well with me all during the job and he was just outstanding as was his helper. I'd recommend this outfit to anyone who has landscaping, yard work type project on their honey-do list!

Tim and his team came well in time and did a great job. we had scheduled the work in advance and they called us the day before to remind and confirm the appointment. They came and did an excellent and job. the front yard and back yard look so much better now. I would certainly use them again.

Nice job. The yard looked great when we got home. We had bought an Angie's List "Big Deal" for $199 for what we believed was unlimited mulching for a set number of hours. The language was ambiguous and we learned that we had to purchase our own mulch in advance; it may not have been C&A's fault, but it was a costly lesson for us. We communicated effectively by phone and email for the most part. In addition to the mulch confusion, two small snafus occurred. First, we emailed C&A asking them to spread as mulch as possible within the allotted time. They apparently didn't get the email in time and worked over the Big Deal time limit. They invoiced us for an additional $66, which we paid, since the yard looked awesome. Finally, two mysterious black trash bags appeared on the side of our house. We learned later that these contained the remains of their edging work (soil & sod). I expected any waste would be removed. I dragged the bags down to the street for trash pickup, but for several weeks, the garbage men simply ignored them. They were apparently too heavy for pickup. I contacted C&A about possibly removing the trash bags, but they suggested that I take them to the corner grocery and toss them in the dumpster. This didn't sound like a good idea, so we eventually spread the sod under our trees just to get rid of the nuisance. Other than that, we were pleased with the quality of the work.

Slight scheduling problem - they had to cancel 1st time - then rescheule the following Saturday.They showed up on time - got right to work (it was VERY HOT) & comlleted the agreed uponwork.

Nothing special. She came in first with stuff for the process. They vacuumed and cleaned the fireplace and then she cleaned the glass doors.

They kept the area clean of soot and dirt by laying down drop cloths as they entered the house to the the chimney area. They were cautious making sure no soot entered the room from cleaning process. They recommended and added a safety link that was not on the damper at a very reasonable additional cost. Overall we were pleased with the service and professional, yet friendly service.

We were very glad we did this before painting and moving in. An old fireplace is very messy and despite drop cloths and vacuums used by the sweeper, there was a fine layer of soot in the room. Tim seemed very knowledgable and was quite informative. He advised us on appropriate upkeep. He has had industry training and is not just a laborer who happens to clean chimneys. He knew about the three different types of fireplaces in the home in some detail. We used a deal of the day on Angie's list which covered the main fireplace and chimney, then discussed a deal on the others prior to starting. In the end he discounted us on the total price as the others had less use. Very good experience overall, the lower grade for punctuality was because we had a late start and didn't get a call for some time advising us of the delay. Once started, the project went smoothly and we feel confident we can use the fireplaces safely and cleanly when the weather demands.

Tim came with 2 helpers and they worked like crazy including working while we had to wait for some mulch to be delivered. i cannot praise this service enough. Tim is caring and honest and was totally customer oriented!

He was very neat. He did a good job of cleaning the chimney and cleaning up after himself.

Crew arrived a few minutes early. I explained to supervisor what I wanted done and they went to work immediately. They all worked steadily for the two hours I had contracted for and completed everything in that time. The did exactly as I had asked and they left nothing undone. I am perfectly satisfied with the results. This was an Angie's Big Deal and it was a really good one.

Tim Anderson is the hardest worker I know! He follows instructions to the letter and beyond. You can always be assured that your highest expectations will be met.

They were excellent. For being a small family owned business, I was very impressed. They were very meticulous with making sure there was no dirt. They were in and out in a great amount of time and overall, very nice people.

Tim arrived on time with tarps and equipment ready to go. He always leaves the stove immaculate and cleans the entire hearth perfectly in addition to cleaning the chimney liner. I will definitely keep hiring him. A+++ every time! All the time!

He did a great job. I was nervous about having a chimney sweep come into our house because it tends to be a dirty job but he came in and left the place as he found it. He also got along well with our dogs.
