C & A's Chimney Sweep & Lawn Maintenance Services

We have had our chimney cleaned for years....every other year for the past almost 20 years. This group did a better job than ANY of the previous companies. The job was very thorough - swept the chimeny, clean all parts of the flu, cleaned the glass, cleaned out all ashes.....did an inspection. They left the house very clean. The people were very nice and knowledgable. This was the first time I used them....and I used them due to an Angies List deal....they were great and I will switch to use them for all future chimney needs.

It went great! Rescheduled to come out earlier than we had originally planned, and did great work cleaning out my overgrown flower bed. Weeded, pruned, trimmed, and edged everything, and now it looks great and ready to plant actual flowers in.

Great Company! They actually went way beyond what was expected. They were very conscientious and took great care around plantings. They even cleaned all residual mulch from driveway and borders, even though I said it wasn't necessary. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Tim arrived with his crew at the pre arranged time. he discussed with me what I wanted him to do. It was wonderful, he took great care with our hedges and bushes, he did the trimming while his crew cleared up. Our garden looked beautiful when he was done. He is returning next week to mulch the flower beds. I will always use him. I highly recommend using him.

These guys came in and mulched my gardens, trimmed my hedges and pulled stumps from an unsightly flowerbed on the side of the house. Mulched it and it looked great! The house has been for sale. The house SOLD the day after they re-did the gardens and hedges! A coincidence? I think not. They did a great job and I'd be happy to have them come back to help again in the future!

I think they were a brother and sister team, very professional. Came in were very careful not to get any ash or soot anywhere. Packed up and were gone in no time flat. Thanks for a great experience!!

I absolutely loved their lawn services. I hired them again after using this Big Deal. They came out and did a ton of lawn work, and later came back and dug out a lot of tree stumps. He and his sister worked very hard and did hours of work! He even rebuilt a wood area on the deck and restained the whole thing. I couldn’t believe they could do everything that they did.

I would definitely recommend them and buy other Big Deals from this company.

The Company called to advise they were on the way and would be at my home in 15 minutes. Upon arrival we went over the work I was requesting to be done. Several recomendations were made, which appreciated and they then began the work. I offered bags for the trash, but they had higher mils thickness that were better to use. The final product was more than I expected, I was asked several times if everything was as I expected......and it was and more. The work was done by the owner of the Company and 2 of his employees. It was nice to meet and work with people who still have a nice personality and know what Please and Thank You, and appreciate the business. I will be in contact with this Company in the fall for additonal work.

Tim Anderson, the owner, came to my house with two other men to do some yard clean-up for me. I asked them to remove three medium sized shrubs and clean up limbs, weeds and leaves that accumulated over winter and spring in my front yard. They did an awesome job and will be coming back to do additional work next month. I had bags of top soil in the garage and they used those to fill the holes created by the removal of the shrubs. They also were mindful to not pull up vines that were not weeds. I didn't know how much time the work would take, and I think they did a good job of getting as much done as possible in the allotted time. I would definitely recommend them for future work.

They performed exactly the work that had been requested. They cleaned up after themselves.

We paid for 1 hr of services of three men, or 3 hrs for one man. Two men showed up so we had 1.5 hrs to complete the work we asked of them. They were very nice gentlemen, however, they were not young and the work we had for them was somewhat difficult and digging in our soil (which was clay) was difficult for them. They needed rest breaks. I really felt bad that it was so difficult for them. That is why we hired the job out as my husband and I would have found it very labor intensive. Keep in mind that the Big Deal was not specific for the type of yard work. If we would have requested other work, such as mowing, weeding, or planting plants, there would have been no problems. We just had work that would have been better suited to younger men. They were very accomodating to our schedule and adjusted their work to find a time to get to us right away since our shrubs were purchased and needed to be planted. Overall, we were very pleased with their work and feel it was a good deal.

They UR me in touch with the chimney sweep company, who stated that they didn't have the right size ladders to get on my 2 story home and that their owner had had a spill and wasn't allowed by doctors to do that level if service any longer. They should have proactively reminded my $99, but followup was VERY POOR until I initiated contact. I never did see a refund of my $99 but another Angi's list provider from Noblesville took the job and didn't charge me, The replacement vendor was so efficient, I didnt even know they'd been here. Their cleanup was impeccable and they left a card and paid statement. Thanks to Angi's list, this,potential disaster was a win.

He was late every time he came. He said he would come at a specified time which I prepared for (morning about 9:30). Then his office gal called just before the appointed day and gave me a different time (late afternoon) so I had to switch things around. He was very pleasant when he was here working. As was his worker.

Jim was great. We got everything we needed done.

Tim called when he was on his way and the crew showed up on time. Everyone was very professional and hard working and worked for four hours without a break, except for water! They did an excellent job and we will definitely contact them again for future yard work.

I purchased one of Angie's list deals to get a bed cleaned up that had been neglected for a couple do years. In anticipation of getting this completed, I purchased some new trees and shrubs to plant the following day. Tim from C&A called me on the scheduled day to see if he could come early, which worked out better for my schedule anyway. He came with 2 other guys and asked what I would like done. I showed him the bed that needed work and he asked about all the plants and if I needed them planted, that he had extra time. This worked out great for me. Tim instructed the 2 guys with him and they used the time to get a lot done. I will definitely use them again.

Got the Angie's list big deal experience. Got 6 hours of labor and we were able to discuss what needed to be done within that 6 hours of labor and scheduled the work day. They showed up on time and were able to complete all tasks we agreed on. Very professional and the quality is excellent.

The oriental grasses were cut to ground level and should have been cut no less than 1 foot above the ground. I requested some overgrown red bushes to be trimmed back, but the provider indicated because he did not have a chain saw he would be unable to perform the service.

Very prompt with scheduling appointment & retrieving list of chores. I expected a significant delay due to the Big Deal, but they made time for me. I look forward to them coming in a few days to perform the work.

Well, great advice about mulch. Honest and forthright.

While they were late in arriving without notifying me ahead of time, they went right to work on the obvious cleanup needs and conferred with me about what my priorities were for the timeframe allotted and worked diligently for the full amount of time I authorized. The conferred with me several times when they had questions about the work to make sure they would be doing what I wanted. I will use them again in the future.
