C & A's Chimney Sweep & Lawn Maintenance Services

I purchased this through Angie's List as a big deal. Tim actually called and asked if they could come early. When they arrived, Jose, his assistant, laid runners on the tile and hard wood floors. They worked together for about an hour and were able to clean everything and leave the place looking better than when they started. Tim took the time to tell me about my fireplace (I had purchased the house 8 days previous to his work), told me about some tips and tricks for the future, and how frequently it would need service. He's definitely chatty but gets the job done well. We'll use him again in the future.

The provider worked very hard to fit me in their very busy schedule. The service provider did not rush through the service, though I knew he had a busy schedule. He took his time and answered any questions we had. The process was clean and done very professionally. I would highly recommend this service provider!

I was very pleased with this company. They arrived earlier than scheduled. Did the flower beds and pots better than I could have done. Very nice people. I had to leave the house, briefly, and they were still here cleaning up when I returned. Great company, great job. Would I hire them again, YES.

The provider was a few minutes late of the expected 10-12 arrival time. He did try to call me, but I was on the phone and didn't click over for the call. His assistant covered the carpeting and most of the vinyl floor to prevent tracking into the house. There was no mess remaining for me to clean up. The only recommendation I would make to the provider is maybe a little less conversation with the owner, and the work would be done more quickly. Very nice man, and had a nice conversation, but I think it took a little too much time away from his work. I would still recommend this provider to my friends and neighbors, and will use him again in the future.

They did a good job cleaning up my flower beds and provided recommendations for how to deal with a couple issues.

They did a fine job with the chimney and even for the lawn maintenance. The prices were great 400.00 for 4.5 hours and 4 men. Update 02.07.14 - When they cleaned the chimney, they cleaned out everything in the fireplace. I have artificial logs and with the artificial logs, there are a lot of things they put around the bottom to get a nice glow from the fireplace. They removed everything and it cost me $150.00 to put it all back together. I would give them Straight A's for the lawn work but the grades here are for the chimney work.

What a terrific company! I sent them an Angie's List web message and received a prompt call back from Tim to schedule our chimney sweep and inspection. He and his assistant showed up promptly and took the time to talk to us about how we use our fireplace and proper maintenance and care. They covered their entire pathway with drop cloths and made certain nothing would get dirty. They thoroughly inspected everything from top to bottom and even removed the flue and cleaned that. You could eat off the fireplace when they were done and they were just very nice, professional guys. I use a chimney sweep every year or two ad have never had this detailed work and inspection. I will definitely use them from now on.

Arrived a little past appointment time but was very apologetic; were very professional and clean in appearance and in their work. Would highly recommend company and will have them back again to clean the chimney again. psi

Tim was very courteous, personable and eager to do a good job. He voluntarily did a few chores above and beyond the scope the work I paid him for which I appreciated. Would use him again--for sure.

They completed edging all flower beds and did all clean up afterwards. Two men worked together and edged everything with hand tools and did a pretty good job. They included the clean up after the job was complete and did that to my satisfaction. This was purchased as a part of a Big Deal offering with a certain amount of hours for a set price.

Tim can be busy and hard to get at arranged time. Once he arrives, however, his guys do very good work. The work was done not done by Tim personally, but his men worked hard and cleaned up. Tim made up for his scheduling delays and gave me extra work at the original price.

They were just as outstanding as the first time we used their services. They worked quickly and tirelessly to complete moving 16 cubic yards of mulch (that's alot of mulch!) in their 3 man hours. We were absolutely thrilled with their service and they offered to provide additional lawn/landscaping services in the future for an incredibly reasonable price. We will definitely only be using C&A for any future chimney sweeping/cleaning and lawn/landscaping work (like bulk material moving, leaf/debris removal, etc.) in the future. It's rare to find a company that is so professional and personal and that provides excellent quality work and customer service. C&A is one of those rare companies. We were totally impressed. They were slow to respond to emails and to schedule but then they did a good job.

Overall it went fine, just wish they had service dates sooner.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very good. They were very professional, and you got your money's worth. They were busy the whole time, and they got a lot accomplished in the time stated on the big deal.

I rescheduled several times and they were very nice about it. They showed up on time and worked beyond the amount of time that I had paid for. I will use them again in the spring.

Seemed very knowledgeable about all of the types of plants and trees we have. Everything was neatly trimmed, bagged up. Got exactly what we wanted, without spend all weekend on it ourselves. Definitely plan to use them again!

They were great! I purchased the AngiesList Big Deal. They emailed me the next day to schedule a date to come out. They came out about a week and a half later. They were so professional and prompt. They were actually a little early and called me to make sure that was ok. As I said they were very professional. They used tarps on the floor and were very careful not to make any messes. They left the floors just as they were when they got here. My fireplace is so clean! It looks brand new. They spend time inspecting and showed me what they did and also gave tips on keeping the fireplace up. I would absolutely recommend C&A for chimney sweep and inspection. I will also be using them for landscaping this spring!

C&A's Chimney Sweep and Lawn Maintenance did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them to everyone! After not feeling well all summer, my poor ignored landscaping was a mess. C&A was able to discern what was a weed and needed to go, what should be cut down and cleared for winter, and took care of a patch of poison Ivy that we didn't even know we had. They went above and beyond our expectations, even staying beyond our contracted time until they were satisfied with the job they'd done. They were professional and courteous and gave me an immediate quote on future work I'd like done. I look forward to working with C&A again in the spring.

I contacted the company by email to set an appointment and they responded within a day with a suggested appointment within my suggested times. I had to delay my appointment and they readily accommodated my request and gave me a three hour window for arrival. On the day of my appointment Tim kept me updated about arrival and came within the expected time. He talked through my list of priorities and was able to get all of them done. The area was cleaned up and all the yard waste bagged when they left.

Weeded, cleaned up my flower beds, trimmed tree tops and branches. Did a nice job, will have them come back again in spring and throughout the summer.
