I was very pleased with the service. They were very careful with their equipment not to hit any furniture or walls. Very clean. They were very polite and I would highly recommend them. They took time and was very informative about their process.

It went great. They did a fantastic job and they were very quick.

Tim was very thorough and helpful.

I needed them to trim my hedges, & also hoped that they would have time to pull out some short junk trees. I think the idea of 3 man hours is deceptive as one trimmed the hedges, & the other 2 stood waiting to clean up the clippings . They were putting them in bags which would have been too heavy for me to take out for pickup a week later.I told them that I would rake up the clippings & asked if they would get the junk trees & some weeds under a tree by the sidewalk. Unfortunately, they did not dig out the roots & in a week they were coming up again, & they did not get rid of any of the weeds under the large evergreen, so I had to do it before they were impossible to dig out. They also did not shake out the clippings which had not fallen to the ground, so I had big chunks of bright orange clippings to get rid of, & which took around 45 minutes when it would have taken a few minutes to shake them out onto the ground after clipping the hedge. Again,I don't remember when they came, except it was in 2013.

They were good; very timely and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I will probably call them back again.

Very well, good work done professionally

Everything has been excellent. They took the time to go over everything that we should keep and remove from our yard upon asking for our option. Their pricing was excellent. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. Overall, they did a great job. Scheduling with them was very easy and they were accommodating to our schedule. Everything we needed done was completed under the big deal timeframe.

They did a good job with the sweep. Scheduling was easy. They sent two technicians and they showed up on time. They got the sweep done and were even get stains removed from the white tile and grout in front of the fireplace and also the glass doors to the fireplace were very clean too. Everything looked brand new by the time they left. They were wonderful and very friendly and I was happy with their service.

They arrived on time and left no mess. Cost was slightly higher than the $109 Angie's list deal because they fixed my long broken flue damper.

Tim and Jose were able to come out 1 week after I called for an appt. Pleased with the turn around time considering the time of year. I was given a 2 hr window and they called 1/2 hour before just as they said they would. I was given recommendations of when I should get the next chimney sweep and Tim was extremely honest. No sales pressure for additional services which I appreciated and they did a great job and left the house just as clean as before they came in. Would use them again and highly recommend them.

The service was fine but they said they never got notified that I made the Big Deal purchase so I ended up having to call them. They were blaming you guys saying that your service doesn’t work very well and it doesn’t work for them. I had to pay another $80 as it didn’t cover my type of fire place. It is not your fault it is either fine print that I didn’t see or the deal they advertised was misleading so that’s why I wouldn’t purchase anything that way again. They said it isn’t the standard fire place so I had to pay extra. The guy told me that he didn’t know they are charging extra $60 bucks. Everything they did was good.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. They showed up on time.

Cleaned and inspected chimney. I purchased a Big Deal, and all my communications with C & A were by email, which I preferred. They were responsive, arrived on schedule, and left no mess. I was very happy with the work they did.

Tim and Jose did a great job cleaning and inspecting the chimney. They kept in contact about the arrival time that day, and they were in and out in a half hour. House was as clean when they left as it was when they came. Tim answered questions related to the care of the chimney inside and out and didn't try to sell me anything extra that I didn't need. Gave me an honest estimate of how long I could go in between cleanings. Very helpful. Would not hesitate to use them again.

They called me back within a day of p urchasing the big deal and we scheduled the service for aobut a m onth later becasue I was not in a hurry. I had a lot of questions and they took the time to answer them all, which was reassuring. They arrived within the arranged time frame and were friendly and professional. They cleaned two fireplaces, on gas and one wood burning. It took much longer than I thought (one question I forgot to ask), but I believe it was becasue they were very thurough and the fireplaces were very dirty. We just bought the house so they ensured I knew how to properly operate the fireplaces and cleaned up. Would definately use them again.

They had to do the work while we were out of town. Since we signed up thru Angie's List (and not directly with them), they did not show up until we called Angie's list. Apparently there was some mis-communication between Angie's List and them. When I called Angie's list, they did communicate with them, finally, and they came out. Since it was two weeks from the time we signed up, we had to be out-of-town. BUT, they showed up and did a great job. A gentleman from Chimney Sweep even called me when we were out-of-town and told us it was raining that particular day so he might have to wait until the next day if the rain kept coming down. I told him that was fine. When we returned home the following week, they had done a very good job. -- The deal was to get 3 hours work for $99 -- I don't know how long it took them but we are pleased with what they did. They trimmed our bushes and put everything in trash bags. (I was surprised that they did not take the trash bags with them but left them in our back yard. Well, that was not a big problem as I just put them out for trash pick-up.) Still, I think they did a great job.

PERECT! Tim is amazing. Did a fantastic job cleaning the fireplace and providing us with extra knowledge. I would never call anyone else but him for this type of service. Bought the "big deal" for $109 and then paid the $35 fee since our chimney was masonry.

Not a good experience. They arrived late and wanted to add on extra fees before starting. They stated that the job would be about 30 mins, they arrived and said it would take over an hour. They didn't perform the job so, requesting a refund. Thanks.

Very knowledgable and helpful. Laid down covering on floor to prevent any mess to our floors. Would highly recommend them.

C&A's Chimney Sweep arrived within the designated window and performed the chimney sweep in just over an hour. They provided guidance for me to know how to properly start a fire, what type of logs to use, and the proper way to open and close the damper.

It turned out nicely but they got a little bit messed up about my date. I had to call them and they didn't show up the first time. But, when they got there, they did a nice job. I think they had some problems in the family and I'm not going to hold that against them. It was fine. They didn't charge me anything. They were very good and very professional.

I contacted C&A in late October to check on their availability. While they were booked till around Thanksgiving, they worked with my extremely flexible schedule and were able to come later on a weekend night, the first week of November. Communication was always prompt and professional. When Tim and his crew arrived, they put down drop cloths from the entryway to the fireplace in order to keep my floors clean and protected. Tim and his assistant inspected and cleaned the fireplace thoroughly in a little over an hour. When they were finished, they removed their tools and it was like they were never there, only my chimney and fireplace were much cleaner! Tim also chatted with me about my fireplace specifically and gave me some tips for the future. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

The overall experience was great! Tim, responded right away to schedule an appointment. He called when he was on his way, and was right on time. He explained how to use the fireplace properly and how to clean. He also gave suggestions on type of wood to burn. Tim was extremely helpful and very friendly. It went well. I did have to pay 35.00 extra because I have a stove unit that they had to do a little extra work to get it clean. I was okay with that extra cost because they were going to charge me more than that but, brought the price down. I appreciated that. I would use them again. They were very professional and polite. They used drop cloths while they were in my home and were very respectful of my furniture. Overall, they were knowledgeable and they know their stuff.
