They got up on the roof and removed a lot of debris in areas that were untouched by previous contractors. They then cleaned up everything completely. They were well mannered and very professional.

They were fast and did more than I expected, but not as thoroughly as I had hoped for. They did not remove the roots -they cut the trees down to just below the ground level. I believe they will be growing back this year. Also, their workers only had hand tools - shovels and a saw. That surprised me. I don't remember exactly when the work was done or how much I paid. I just paid the "deal" price.

They did an okay job. There were additional charges because of the masonry and I had a cap put on. The masonry was like an extra $30 and the cap as $100 or so. They seem to do a clean job. I noticed afterwards, after they did my cap, I had a gutter next to the chimney that was broken off. They need to be replaced anyway but it would have been nice for them to tell me.

It went very well. I would recommend this business to everybody and the cost was very reasonable.

They made sure to put down drop clothes to keep my house clean. I was very impressed with their professionalism.

They were great. They arrived on time and also called when they were on their way. They were very clean, did a thorough job, and explained to me how to use the fireplace safely and what wood would work best. I was very pleased with their service and will use them again.

We used them through a big deal on Angie's List. It was satisfactory. They accepted the big deal coupon. There were no additional charges. They were on time, courteous and thorough. They did what they said they would do.

Provider was difficult to reach. Days passed before they responded via e-mails sent through the Angie's List. When we started to communicate via telephone we always had to leave a voice-mail. Did not promptly return messages. Left specific messages on both e-mail and voice mail regarding the date when we needed the job done (prior to Thanksgiving). We understand busy seasons but we were kind of on the hook, and we didn't feel like the provider made any effort to accommodate us. By the time they returned the message, it was if they hadn't listened to our messages or read the e-mails. By then it was too late to book anyone else. Did not show up on time for the eventually scheduled date. When we spoke to the workers who did show up, they claimed that the special did not apply to our type of chimney setup. Since we had a double flue chimney, they wanted to charge us twice and they did not make that clear prior to setting up the job. We wanted (and purchased) two Deals - one for our residence and one as a gift for the second house. The provider told us that the Deal did not cover gifts. the work they did do was performed professionally. Just not a happy circumstance all around. Not what we've come to expect from Angie's List providers.

Inspected and cleaned chimney. They were very thorough, clean, and punctual. They answered my questions as a first time wood burning chimney user and were in and out in less than 45 minutes. So clean you would have never known I had a chimney sweep in the house.

Everything turned out well. I would recommend them to others.

There were about five workers and I was satisfied by what they did.

They arrived promptly, tarps were laid out from the front door to the fireplace and they were foot covers. A large vacuum with a heap filter was used to clean the fireplace. There was an up charge because my fireplace has mortar inside; I have an older home. They also used some other type of spray cleaner on the interior and exterior of the glass panels. The damper of the fireplace was repaired free of charge, they took the time to string the chain link fire screen back on. They were personable and honest. I was told it was not necessary to clean the fireplace year. There other deals at a cheaper price but I went with C&A. I plan to check out their lawn maintenance service.

It turned out very good. It was my first time using them. They were on time and did a thorough job.

We scheduled the service at our niece's new house. She and her husband have never had a fireplace before. He showed up on time and did a very thorough inspection and cleaning and answered all of our questions. He then showed my niece and nephew how to start a fire properly in the fireplace.

Tim came out and confirmed work to be done. Two men did an excellent job pulling out three overgrown large messy bushes in my front yard. Also trimmed 2 others on side of house. All brush was cleaned up and placed in bags. We were very pleased. Tim followed up after to be sure that work was complete and that we were satisfied. Would recommend them to all.

Did a great job with my first service. Contacted twice for repeat service and chimney repair. Never heard back from them.

Tim came out and cleaned my chimney. I've used him before. Very professional and does great work. I will use him again and I recommend him to anyone looking for a chimney sweep.

Tim was very prompt and professional. There was no mess left, and I was worried about what he might find. Everything went well, and he said my chimney was in great shape. He explained to my what he did and how often he recommended I should have it cleaned. He also explained to me the types of wood I could use that burned cleaner and better.
